I used A G E Appliance Repair through American Home Shield (AHS) for a microwave repair, and the experience was unacceptable. The technician damaged the vent grille as well as part of the display panel where the vent attaches--then left without acknowledging or reporting the damage. Instead of taking responsibility, the technician quietly transferred my service request to another vendor without informing me. When AHS redirected me back to A G E Appliance Repair, the technician/owner (Mohammed) became argumentative and made false statements about the situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend A G E Appliance Repair. The lack of accountability, poor workmanship, and unprofessional behavior were deeply concerning. Horrible experience with Mohammed, he showed up @ my property without setting up an appt with me. When he calls me Idk who he is and I'm confused as to why he never called prior to showing up. He then gives me attitude because I tell him I never set up an appointment and wasn't home. He then decides to rudely yell @ me and then Hang up the phone. Then he apparently decides to reschedule again for a day that I never confirmed once again, so I decided to call them to reschedule and his worker answers the phone and decides to Hang up the phone on me again! Overall it was a horrible experience and I had to call AHS to report what was going on and I was able to get another company to come out. Technician refused to enter my home when he learned I had dogs. I advised they weren't in where my dryer was but do sleep in there. He advised no one will come if a home has animals. He said he is sensitive, I offered a mask-I understand allergies. But what pissed me off was that he said "no one" will come. If it's their policy or if he has allergies dispatch/scheduler needs to inquire about pets in the home. Instead of me now waiting another day for another repairman, and I had to cancel my appointments for this afternoon...one of them charged me a short notice cancellation fee of $70. ​ read more

Mohammed was the appliance vendor sent to our home by American Home Shield - a longtime home warranty company I have used. STAY AWAY FROM AGE APPLIACE REPAIR!! Mohammed was Aggressive, arrogant, rude, unprofessional, angry, with a huge attitude, foul-mouthed....unpleasant in every way imaginable. Not willing to listen to client - condescending and thinks he knows more than he does. Threw out a bunch of theories at us based on his own opinions about things. Supposedly "took care of our washer" and left after the first appointment. Got called back out within two days. Had to wait another week for him to show up.... And no sooner did he arrive then he got angry, pissy, and very aggressive and stormed out of our house, yelling at us all the way to his truck that we had wasted his time by making him drive all the way to our home from Brentwood.... Apparently it was his opinion that why we called him out was bullshit.... We don't call out people for no reason. My husband is a mechanical engineer with more than a basic understanding of pretty much most things mechanical... the noises that were coming out of both our washer and dryer were absolutely not normal and not what they had been making for the last decade. And he said noises were not covered and stormed out.... not stopping to think for a nanosecond that a noise would be caused by an improper function of the machine which had been giving us problems and constantly going out. If anyone in any way shape or form recommends this company to you run away - quickly!! Oh, and as an aside, I've been in the real estate business as a highly productive realtor for over 3 1/2 decades and have dealt with thousands of contractors of all different kinds. This rating is a zero. Mohammad Naseer is absolutely the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. Day of the service he changed the appt time without any confirmation from me. He finally came but with a a major attitude he didn't answer my questions seemed he was annoyed to have a job. Weeks went by I didn't hear from him when I texted the (714) 227-4832 I was told it was NOT covered and to deal with the warranty company. I was shocked that no one notified me and completed a survey with my home warranty to address my disappointment. Mohammad immediately called me after I hit submit yelling at me said I don't give a sh** what you rate me and was yelling at the top of his lungs. He then hang up without me getting a word in. He then called me back a second time and used racial slurs saying you "fu** Afghan this isn't your country you're trying to rob me fu** blind" then hung up again. Completely in shock! We've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Mohamad, the technician assigned by our home insurance to repair our dryer. From the very beginning, things went downhill. He arrived late to the appointment, clearly in a rush, and even mentioned he had another job to get to. After briefly inspecting the dryer, he claimed he needed to order a part, which he reported to our insurance. However, when I followed up with him, he unexpectedly asked for the model number of our dryer. This left me baffled. He had already spent time with the dryer--surely he should have noted the model number during his inspection. At first, I struggled to understand what he was asking due to his irritable and curt tone, which came across as either a language barrier or outright rudeness. And before I could even provide the model number, he rudely suggested that we could just cancel the repair if we wanted. Why would we do that? We're in desperate need of our dryer! The next day, after I forwarded the model number, instead of taking action, he told me to send it to another number. This was beyond unprofessional. When I asked him how long the repair would take, he casually said, "two weeks." At this point, we were fed up. I reached out to AHS directly, hoping for a resolution. We were ready to cancel the repair due to Mohamad's behavior. But then, to our disbelief, Mohamad told AHS that the dryer wasn't eligible for repair because it wasn't due to normal wear and tear. He falsely accused us of overloading it with heavy rags, which is completely untrue. Our dryer is nine years old and has only been used for regular household laundry. What's more, if the dryer was truly "not fixable," why would he have ordered a part in the first place? This makes it clear that he's lying to avoid taking responsibility. As a large family, we rely on our dryer constantly. We can't afford to wait weeks for a repair, so I asked AHS if we could opt for the cash-out option and purchase a new dryer instead. But shockingly, Mohamad told AHS that we broke the dryer ourselves, making us ineligible for both the repair and the cash-out option. His accusations were not only false but completely absurd. At this point, I was so frustrated with AHS's handling of the situation that I raised my voice. I even pointed out that Mohamad has numerous negative reviews on Yelp, where other customers have complained about the same issues--his rudeness and inability to fix their appliances. AHS then offered to send another technician, but warned that if this new technician made the same assessment, we'd be charged an additional $125. This added insult to injury. We're not asking for anything unreasonable. We simply want the repair done properly or to be given the cash-out option so we can move on. This entire process has been exhausting and frustrating, and it's disappointing that we're having to fight so hard just to have a basic issue resolved. read more

Had a great experience with A.G.E. Repair. My fridge has had 2 year history of not working properly, freezing the refrigerator portion and shutting down randomly. Engine/fan not working. After a year and half of trying to fix, Mohammed from A.G.E. Had it fixed within 4 days after needing to order a part. Highly recommended. Mohammed was very knowledgeable and polite. The main office was very responsive with questions on appointment and follow up. Would highly recommend if anyone is tired of their usual runaround and unresponsive repairman. read more

And then he didn't order my part until a week after the first time he came to my house. And only because I asked him when he was coming back to fix my dishwasher He was rude when I called him asking what time he would be at my home. A g e appliance did a warranty repair job on my exhaust fan for cooktop.. Mohamed and his assistant after having me scheduled, arrived on time and were very professional...They were very quickly able to find the problem and advised me that they would have to order a part and would get back to me to reschedule the install. It was less than a week and they contacted me to let me know the part was in and were ready to install it...Once again , he set a time and date to come and he was prompt and on time. My Exhaust fan is fixed and works great Thanks to these guys... I highly recommend them for any appliances that need attention. 5 Stars in my opinion.........nothing less.... read more

Very nice repair guys. My only complaint is that I received a generic ice bucket replacement for my Samsung fridge that does not get the job done. It only dispenses crushed ice and not cubed no matter what button is pressed. Also it takes forever to get a cup of ice. Not happy. read more

Mohammad was assigned by our home warranty to come out to check our dryer (Cracked drum!); he ordered the part and returned to install it. After a couple of days it was making a strange noise, we had them recalled to come out to see what was wrong. Mohammad just left a few minutes ago after perfectly addressing the issue for us. They were assigned by my home warranty company and Mohammad called me right away to schedule the appointment, he showed up on time, extremely polite (put on shoe protectors) and was very informative and friendly (quite different experience from other companies my home warranty has sent me). His diagnosis was spot on as were his helpful hints on how I should arrange my food in both the refrigerator and freezer to get better cooling. Mohammad was sent to us by our home warranty company for our dryer and ice maker repair. He came to our house on time and ordered parts for both appliances. When he came back to repair our dryer was still making a noise after he repaired. He told me that he didn't work on Electrolux appliances but the home warranty company sent him anyway. He was able to reduce the noise by replacing some parts, but the problem didn't get completely fixed. After he replaced the ice maker it never started working after he left. He said AHS ordered a generic version of the part and it needed a different brand. So they had to reorder and he came back and was able to fix the ice maker and now it's working perfectly. Overall the whole process took a few weeks. What I appreciate about Mohammad is his honesty, communication, and responsiveness even when the customer isn't very happy. read more

I'm extremely hesitant on giving 1 star reviews but I simply can not offer anything more for this company. They were assigned to me for appliance repair by home warranty carrier. Firstly, the gentleman told me he does not have time to check everything. Fine. No big deal. He looked at a couple of appliances (which were working fine but had minor issues that needed to be checked) and after he left, the appliance was NOT WORKING at all. I now have a non functional machine which was working fine before he decided to open it up to try and fix it! If you do not have proper expertise on these machines, why would you attempt to fix it! It is so frustrating to have someone come out to fix a small problem and leave the appliance entirely dead after working on it. I have had this appliance for years and it has never died on me. AGE appliance repair managed to completely ruin it in one visit. If you do not know how to fix something, do not attempt to fix it, please! After I let him know what he did, he did not even offer to fix it and asked the warranty company to assign someone else. What an inept company! I would encourage everyone to stay away and not have him do any repair work or you will end up with dead appliances! I regret allowing him to work on expensive machines at my home. My home warranty company contracted with AGE to repair my dishwasher. Mohammed was friendly but not able to figure out how to even unplug the dishwasher (frigidiare brand). After taking it apart he identified the part that was bad. When he got it put back together again I asked if he had everything he needed to order the part. He said yes and left. The next day my warranty company assigned a different company to come out and repair the dishwasher. I was upset because Mohammed did not say he was going to recommend refusing the work. I messaged a bunch of friends and they said the business was very shady. I told them that I was assigned to them via my home warranty company. I went ahead and called and left a message at 11 pm assuming it was a professional company with an answering service.
