It turned out that I was given the wrong part and having only one car, this placed me in a bind. Ruben got on the phone with the auto parts store, apprised them of the situation and even ran up the street and picked up the correct parts for me. Also, and this is huge, Warhawk's prices are VERY fair. I went to another shop, one that rhymes with DebtToys and what a rip off. When I inquired on the price, I was told "I gotta pay my guys what a dealer would." I then thought, "well then why not just go to a dealer?" Anyway I am so happy and confident in Warhawk that I will call upon them or bring my vehicle to their shop for all my automotive repair needs. I would advise you do as well.

Before coming out, he told me he would still need to diagnose it and charged me $115. After paying the $115 diagnostic fee, I was basically told exactly what I already knew, the radiator needed to be replaced. Then I was informed that he couldn't actually do the repair because the job required the A/C refrigerant to be recovered and he didn't have the equipment necessary to do that. His recommendation was for me to take the truck to a repair shop. My biggest issue is, if you're advertising yourself as a mobile mechanic/certified technician and charging $115 just to come diagnose a problem, I would expect you to either have the equipment necessary to perform common repairs or be upfront BEFORE charging the customer that you may not be equipped to complete the job. On top of that, I felt his labor quote was extremely high. He quoted me $700 JUST FOR LABOR to replace the radiator on my 2019 GMC Sierra. I ended up taking my truck to an actual radiator shop, and they charged me only $300 for the labor. That's a $400 difference for the same radiator replacement. So I essentially paid Ryan $115 to tell me I needed the radiator I had already told him I believed I needed, was quoted $700 in labor, and then was told he couldn't even perform the repair because he didn't have the necessary A/C equipment. Based on my experience, it left me feeling like collecting the diagnostic fee was more important than actually repairing my vehicle. I would not use this service again. I would strongly recommend asking exactly what equipment he has and whether he can actually complete your repair BEFORE agreeing to pay the $115 diagnostic fee.

My engine had locked up and my mother said this guy was a good mechanic, i told him my issues and he towed it to his shop. He diagnosed the engine was locked and would need to be replaced. I gave him the money for the replacement and he gave me a engine that didnt work and was basically trash. Mind you just getting that engine i waited a month for him and his team to actually work on my vehicle. Then he told me it was the radiator boom another 300$. I ended telling him that i will not be paying for another engine since the one i paid for didnt work, he then said ok no problem i will cover your engine but then said i wont work on the car because my wife divorced me and im broke and homeless and that any paymet you send will help. So at that point i didnt know what to do, so i ended up just paying my balance of 500. He finally got the engine installed after 2 months of waiting and he brought it back with a faulty fuel pump and a bunch of wires and sensors messed up. Do not put any money into this guy and do NOT trust him. He also told me he has signs in his shop so if he runs over a tire With YOUR car you will pay for it. Also i could never ask him questions without him saying im rushing him even though he had my car for months.This guy will not prioritize your car only your MONEY. They came back and told me the same thing we had already discussed -- a very common issue -- but then claimed they "heard doors binding" and recommended a full HVAC teardown. The estimate? Over $3,400. I told them I only wanted the actuator replaced, since it's a simple fix. They agreed that would save money, but their "reduced" estimate was still over $1,100. I said I'd think about it, drove straight over, picked up my truck, and dropped it off somewhere else. The next morning, everything was fixed for $246.81. I don't mind paying to repair my vehicles, but trying to upsell thousands of dollars in unnecessary work is crooked. I would steer clear of this place.

2006 Honda Accord A/C inop. Taken to three other area shops in the last five years. First one…read morereplaced everything ($$$$) and gave a 1-year warranty. Refrigerant leaked out within 6 months and the shop covered fixing the leaky seal but when it leaked out again shop said 'Too bad, out-of warranty'. 2nd shop fixed the leak and lasted another year. Drove without A/C for two years before bringing to still another shop. They discharged the system ($$) refilled it with fresh 134A and leak-check ($$) and said condenser coil and Schrader valves were leaking. Charged for the diagnostic service ($$$) but said to bring it back when fixed and they would service it. Brought it back with the new parts installed but now told they would have to vacuum down the system again and refill, then charge again for new diagnostic, too. Instead drove another year w/o A/C before coming to Carlisle. Spoke to to Robert, gave him a condensed version, including what I had replaced. Car was fixed the NEXT DAY. Texted me with pictures and explanation of what was wrong. Diagnostic + small repair. No up-sell. No lies. Just honestly and great service. PLEASE bring your cars Service needs here! Bob D
