My car started shaking while I was out of town in Virginia, and although it was "fixed" there, the issue returned once I got back to Florida. Another local shop made the problem even worse and refused to take responsibility. In desperation, I called Del's--and I'm so glad I did. Everyone at Del's was incredibly kind, honest, and communicative. They explained what might need attention in the future without any pressure to fix everything that day. They identified the real issue (which had nothing to do with what the previous shop claimed) and repaired it for less than half of the other shop's estimate. Dell's service is good. They are a family business. Just be careful when dropping off your car and leaving it for the day. Parking spots are tight and liable to be hit like mine on Monday. My black BMW was found with a dent. We suspect that it was a hit and run but we have no evidence. Now I have to find an Autobody shop to fix the dent in addition to paying for whatever I paid dell's for the services. Sucky situation just be aware and check your car all around before leaving. After finding out that the dodge dealer would not work on my ram promaster camper van I called dels garage and seen if he would work on my breaks. He fit me at the last moment and found a simple fix. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. He also said that they would be able to change the oil in my generator after I have called 20 other places that wouldn't do it. I hit deep water in my car today, and it partially tore off the plastic shield underneath. It was dragging and rubbing the front tires. Took my jeep for a caliper issue and he said both sides needed to be replaced. So I need 2 calipers 2 roters, pads, and 2 break hoses. The total price was $913. Now I was on vacation and needed it fixed fast and they did but took advantage of of me being out of state. He charged me $660 for parts and aftermarket parts. I told him the job should have cost around $600 he said this is my price, what a joke. read more

Just moved to Palm Coast recently. Wasn't sure where to take a ten year old Altima that was making a noise from rear brake drums. A few people recommended Dels and glad I took my car here. Reasonable prices and no up sell pressure at all. I used to do minor vehicle repairs myself and also knew that brake calipers were likely causing the crunching noise when brakes were applied. Disappointed, got an oil change, said I needed bearings changed out on right side of my car, and they could do it for $350, thankfully I shopped around, and low and behold was able to get it done for $150. Come on Del, palm coast is wising up to you ripping us off.. no worries I won't ever come back, I like my money, more than I like you. read more

Very dissapointed with service. Spent over $500 for ac work, less than 24 hours the ac wasn't working. The system wasn't properly diagnosed or tested. Took it back and was given an estimate of over $1800! The vehicle is only 3 years old. They were going to take $2300 to "fix" my ac. I got another opinion and it cost $250 and works great-and pressure tested for 2 hours after the repair. Wish I had never gone to Dels. read more

I was charged $80 for an oil change because they insisted my car needed synthetic oil. Long story short....my car did not need synthetic oil and I started going to a different mechanic and my oil changes are now only $22. read more

New in area and went to Del's on a recommendation of a friend of a friend without going on-line to read reviews...big mistake. Brought car in for a/c check as it wasn't putting out cold air. This had happened once before 3 years ago and was fixed for a charge of $55. Del's supposedly did the same tests & added Freon for $90. When I got back in car air output was unchanged after 1 1/2 hours of "testing". Mechanic told me a story of how it would cool down after I got driving. Ha!! Felt like a fan blowing cool...not cold...air around except when I stopped when it went back to warm air. Hopping mad and called and let them know it...no apology...nothing. Unfortunately, I'm a senior lady and felt like I was treated like a no-nothing. Stay away from Del's!!! read more

We were on our way back from a trip to Santos,when we got a nail in the tire. Unfortunately for us, most places closed at 5 and it was almost 5:30. we stopped 2 other places, although still there would not do an emergency patch. I called Dels and Eric answered, he said they closed at 5:30 but then asked were we were and said he would wait for us. Got there a few minutes later and Eric took the time to not only fix the tire but explain what he was doing and what to look for!
