I had a really good time at A La Carte at Soto. It's a fun setup with a variety of food trucks there were at least six or more, so plenty of options to explore and something for everyone. We ended up trying a Korean street food truck where we ordered loaded tostones and a couple of sushi rolls. Everything we tried was really good and satisfying. After eating, we also sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine, which made for a nice, relaxed evening. The seating area is pretty spacious and there's a lot of room to sit and move around, which I appreciated. That said, being in Florida during the summer, it was very hot, and there were quite a few flies around the outdoor seating areas. I'd also note there were a lot of kids in the central courtyard space, which seemed like it's designed as a family-friendly area. Overall though, it's a great spot with lots of variety, and I'd definitely go back to try more food trucks. Next time I'll just come prepared with bug spray (and maybe drink covers) to make the experience even more comfortable. Definitely worth checking out for a casual food truck night. read more

I like this location to bring out-of-town friends and family. The details. The food trucks and bar line the open multi-use space in the middle. Tables and chairs filled the space one time I stopped in and a corn-hole league the next time. Friends and families seemed to enjoy gathering at this location. Both Brick & Butter and 503 Latin Fusion served up some tasty dishes. I enjoyed the authentic tasting Asada Steak Taco dish where simple ingredients highlighted the overall flavor. I wished that Lobos Coffee didn't close so early! I've been happy to find the craft beer selection to be diverse and not IPA-heavy, and enjoyed the options. This A-La-Cart is bigger and has a bigger selection of food than the one located in the Milk District. The selection of food is also different than at the other location, which is great. The location is very pretty with plenty of seating area. When you're going to order, you place your order on a big screen. If you need help, you can call on the people in the trucks and they will happily assist you. Nice location, excellent service, yummy food! Oh no! I lost my pictures. :( read more

Such a fun community spot. Works super well for the hosted event that I attended recently. Only bit of note that there was an event right after the ours and there was a lot of shuffling around. Might need to add in a buffer time of tear down/set up and let vendors know what time they can start so that there isn't confusion and rush on-site. The space itself was very clean and has a nice shaded area and turf in the sunshine. Lobos Coffee was one of the event's vendors and their drinks were SO GOOD. I ordered the chai latte, iced, with oat milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. Out of the 4 drinks, everyone liked mine a lot. Probably one of the best vanilla chais that I've had. A La Cart in the Mills area is a great venue. If you're in that area, support local! To my surprise, my daughter was asked to perform at a K-POP/Christmas themed meet up at A La Cart in SODO! So awesome to see K-POP get the love in central Florida! Just like Mills, SODO has several food trucks with different food offerings, including a bar with craft drinks. The lawn is much more spacious than Mills, with several vendors taking advantage of the room to sell their wares. I helped my daughter bring in her set up, and as the music session started, a couple of the owners were concerned about the volume being too low. They wanted to make sure she could be heard! Thank you for that! I'm glad they accommodated her by shutting off the music in the bar area until she was finished with her set! There are so many great options here for a group with different cravings! They've got TVs (go sports!), a nice selection of beverages, and both indoor and patio seating. Right now, there's even a small pumpkin patch you can buy from! It's such a fun seasonal touch. Each food truck has its own kiosk where you can order easily, and you'll get a text when your food's ready, which makes the process super convenient. We tried two different trucks and both hit the spot for what we were craving. Next time, I'd definitely reorder the chicken skewers and potatoes from the Spain food truck since those were delicious! I'd probably skip the ceviche sushi, though; it was a bit mild in flavor for me. Parking is a little limited, but we've always been able to find a spot without much trouble. I have not been here on a weekends night in a very long time. I stopped and hung out with some friends before heading to boxy Park later in the evening this evening I got the contraband sour. It is a beer from Knoxville, Tennessee, according to the can, it is 6.3% alcohol by volume, it is 473 mL, and it's also gluten-free. This sour was recommended to me by the gentleman manning behind the bar. It has flavors of strawberry, cucumber, orange, zest, and lime. The color of the sour reminds me of a thicker version of cranberry juice. Tonight it is very loud. There are a couple of parties in the inside area that are very loud so it's a little bit hard to hear however, this place is always a go to. For myself! 10/10 Love it here read more

Their concept is pretty cool, nice open air outside lawn with chairs and umbrellas, also they have an inside with big garage doors to let in the nice breeze. They have a bunch of beers and cider on tap, as well as many options in the can! They have something for everyone, even N/A drinks and seltzers if you don't like beer. They do not have full liquor though so it's not a place for cocktails. They have about 10 different food trucks on property and now recently added a Lobos coffee stand!! I had heard so many things about A La Cart but had never been until now. I get the hype! It's nice to have a place where you and your friends or partner can get very different things if you're not on the same page. I tried the sushi truck, it was solid. The pizza spot was even better, but I really loved the viral ice cream that looked like fruit! It was so tasty and refreshing on a hot day. Plenty of tables and green space. My friends and I come for Thursday night trivia and we have such a good time! Parking it not ideal, but hey, that's SoDo right? Thankfully there's tons of seating, a well staffed beverage area, and lots of food trucks. I got fried pickles and a PB&J Mixtape (a pb&j flavored sour). Both were great. Trivia is run really well and the questions are challenging but not too hard. This is a great place to socialize, get a craft beverage, and eat. Be sure to check them out! read more

I came here for the first time and had a positive experience. Although, ungodly hot, there were a few different shaded areas for seating. There were plenty of various food vendors and good drink options. It was a cool space, with a nice mural that my wife was happy to snap a picture in front of. My favorite thing I got had to be the viral fruit ice cream. It looked cool and tasted great too! And it was the perfect way to stay cool in the Florida heat. As a member of the A La Cart "Monday Runday" crew I can say I truly love coming here. There's always great beer on tap and the staff are always helpful and friendly. As a frequenter of the original A La Cart in the milk district, I was so happy when this location opened a little bit closer to my house. And let's be honest, the extra space and parking is definitely a nice and much needed extra benefit. My only "complaint" is that it can get hot here in the summer since it's all technically outdoors but it's truly not enough to keep me away. I even stopped by this past monday and enjoyed a run and a beer in the rain. I'll for sure keep coming back at least on Mondays! read more

Finally made it out to the new A La Cart location in SoDo and this is such a great spot! It's a bit more spacious than the original location with 8 food truck options to choose from plus 2 bars. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with tables, lounge areas, and lawn games. This is definitely one of the most family friendly local hotspots and there are always a ton of kids running around, playing. We met up with some friends that we haven't seen for awhile and it's nice that there are so many different types of cuisine available here. There's truly something for everyone! There's coffee, breakfast, pizza, smash burgers, German food, Filipino/Hawaiian food, sushi, Latin fusion, Caribbean, Spanish tapas and more! Not to mention the extensive beer list at the A La Cart bar, along with wine, cocktails and other non-alcoholic options. I ordered from the Oldenburg German food truck and OverRice (Filipino/Hawaiian). The lumpia and ono mac are always a must from OverRice. I also got a street brat and German pretzels with beer cheese from Oldenburg. Everything was delicious! I also discovered a new favorite cider at the bar -- the Schilling Mango Excelsior imperial cider. Wow, I'm obsessed. It was light & refreshing and 9.1% ABV! I never knew a cider could pack that much punch. I'll definitely be on the lookout for that in the future. We got there before noon on a Saturday and it was still pretty empty at that time, but by 1pm the place was very full. We LOVE a la cart!!! This is a staple for our family, we come at least twice a month. PB&J is my favorite drink to order, the pina colada is also very refreshing! I'm so excited to have an À La Cart location so close! I've visited their other location and enjoyed it. We checked out the new one. It has a beautiful patio area as well as indoor seating with friendly staff and great options from their food trucks. I was honestly overwhelmed because there were so many yummy options to choose from! They have a great selection of craft beers, so we ordered a couple of rounds. We chose to share a Cuban pizza from Nona Street Pizza. It was delicious with a perfect charred crust and yummy blend of toppings. My only complaint is that it was too hot even inside for my preference. They have open windows and they have shade structures outside, but I don't think they have actual AC from what I saw (I didn't see any vents in the indoor area). I'm a wimp when it comes to heat, yes I'm definitely in the wrong state, but otherwise this is a great spot and I'll definitely return to grab a beer and food. There is a great variety of food available from the different food trucks. There is also many different beers on tap and in can from a wide variety of breweries. Great options for everyone. So happy A La Cart opened! My mom and I went here for lunch on Friday and it was great! Such a cute atmosphere and great food truck options! I will say it is a little pricey, but worth it for good food, craft beer and a cool vibe. They have different food trucks options including pizza, burgers, sushi, and more. Definitely have something for even the pickiest eaters. Everything looked excellent that we saw here. My mom and I tried the sushi truck and got a tostones crab appetizer which was our favorite. Then we tried both a fried and raw sushi roll. My favorite was the raw roll, which was the rainbow one. Can't go wrong with a classic rainbow roll that's always my go to! I really liked their wasabi (have to request for this!). It had a great kick to it! The fish tasted super fresh. The sushi rolls definitely came out bigger than I was expecting - definitely share! The bar has so many options it is a craft beer lovers dream! They had just opened on Wednesday and there was a decent crowd but our food still came out quickly. I usually go to the A la Cart in Milk District but this one is actually nicer in my opinion. It's a good meeting place for friends and is bigger than the original location. I think because of this, they have more selection of food trucks. It's also nicer to attend events here. The draft and cans list is great too. I think both locations serve the same stuff. I'm obsessed with the XUL PBJ sour. I know it sounds weird but it's soooo good! It's worth checking out both locations as the foods are different. Pricing can be expensive so I think it's more of a weekend visit versus an everyday place to go. read more
