This has to be one of my favorite locations. I have friends I live in the area so we normally walk to it but today I decided to take a drive when my friend wakes up from his mid afternoon nap and go have a drink. The only downside I have to say about today is because they have a baby shower and every table on the inside is being taken up by this 50% baby shower along with half of the tables outside and I don't wanna listen to their baby shower or any other people with their children I just wanted to sit for a drink and they have taken over like three of the tables with the umbrellas and I know it's not à la carte's fault but it's really I will not be getting any food today, but I did take a sip margaritas, sparkling coconut margarita to go because I would like to try it later. If you haven't been here at this place is honestly great however, right now there's a little bit lack of parking due to the very large baby shower party inside; I'm not sure if you can park at the parking lot across the street because they do have towing signs, but it is a really nice location when you can find a place to sit. read more

I always enjoy going to A La Cart. This location is the OG, so it's a bit smaller than the other locations but still features plenty of seating and good eats. They have their draft selection on a rotation so there's always something good to try. If you aren't sure, they also have flights. This would be a fun place in the winter and spring when the temperature is much milder. The indoor seating doesn't appear to have central air conditioning. They rely on a wall-mounted air conditioner that can't keep up or they open all the windows/doors and pray for a cross-breeze. When my friend and I arrived, the windows/doors were closed. It was a tad uncomfortable. They opened the windows/doors shortly after we sat down. We made the poor choice to sit in a corner seat that received no cross-breeze. When we got up to order another drink, we realized that table had no cross-breeze and sat in the middle at the high-tops instead. It was like night and day. Much more comfortable because you could actually feel the cross-breeze there. I can't imagine sitting outside on their lawn area or at the picnic tables outside as the shade is just not ample enough. The service is quick and very friendly. The drinks are great! We ordered the frozen seltzer slush as our second drinks and both really enjoyed the extra cold beverage since we were both sweating our butts off. It tasted like a piña colada and the bartender was kind enough to ask if we wanted it topped with a cherry. Heck yeah! Neither of us ordered food as we were just grabbing drinks, but the options looked promising. Cool concept, poorly executed. Not enough shade or shelter from the heat for us being in Florida. You need some shade sails and high velocity fans outside and a better indoor A/C system. The indoor chairs are those uncomfortable metal ones that don't make you want to stick around for long. I'd be hard-pressed to come back unless the temperatures were much milder. This is not an enjoyable spot to hang out at in the dead of summer. read more

I absolutely loved this place! The beer selection is small though there is something for everyone. The variety of food trucks outside was surprising as well. I don't remember the names of the beers but they were IPA's and delicious. I did one hazy and one not, while others sipped on a tequila sunrise which she enjoyed. The kids ordered a cheese arepa with fries from Wonder Arepa and it was stuffed. The fries were perfectly golden! They also ordered the pistachio and chocolate pie from Piacere. This is a very nice relaxing place if you want to get away from the crowd on the weekends. There's a craft brewery that has amazing IPAs and the lot is surrounded by local food trucks. Most of the food trucks take card and are self kiosk. There are plenty of seats to sit around and it's mostly outdoor. Get there early bc parking is limited! We ordered calamari at Barrio Espanol and tacos at 503 Latin Fusion. Food was on the pricey side but we were glad to know these are local vendors and we are here to support their business! Fair warning... lots of kids running around. I wish they had a designated area for them so they are not in danger of the drinking crowd. Super fun spot in the Milk District with drinks and food trucks. In my opinion, the best night to come by is Tuesday for trivia with Mike G! The staff is friendly and they have a great selection of rotating drafts as well as cans. As for the food trucks, my favorite is Ceylon Hut, but you can't really go wrong with Fly Guy Pizza. The food trucks aren't permanent but they change out very rarely (r.i.p. my sweet Korgette). It's great to sit outside under the umbrellas and enjoy a night out with friends, but if the weather is lousy there's seating inside too. Highly recommend checking out this place They've got a really great rotating beer selection, and sometimes they do tap takeovers. There's usually something going on weekly events, and even bigger monthly ones during certain times of the year. You'll definitely find something new to try every time you go. The place is super spacious, and the patio is a great spot to chill. Every now and then, they'll even play a movie outside which is pretty nice. The bar staff is Always super friendly and know their stuff. They've got food trucks for when you get hungry, but heads up don't bring your own food. Just don't. This was my first time at A La Cart and I truly enjoyed it! It was pretty busy but the 2 workers behind the counter kept the line moving. There were plenty of strategically placed seats which meant everyone had a place to sit with their group. A La Cart has a great selection of draft and canned craft beer. I tried the "Tripping Animals Tyrannosaurus" which is a fruity sour perfect for a summer evening (yes I realize it's winter but it's FL so it's fine lol). Will for sure be back to try some more of the sours! Fair warning that there is limited parking. However, after 4 you can park at the Einstein's Bagels which is a little less than a block away. Great place for a truck hoping experience! If anyone knows me, they know I love restaurant hoping! It's one of my favorite things to do. We ended up ordering from a few places here. Unfortunately I don't have the names for all the places we stopped at. But all the foods we tried were amazing! Different flavors of a veriaty of food is always fun when you are especially hungry. Those who we ordered from were very friendly! We didn't have to wait too long for our food. Although once we got the first of the foods we ordered we weren't considered about the timing doe the rest to come out. We were entertained enough lol! The aaambience was very chill. Not many people were there that day. But the ones that were there really looked like they were enjoying their food. Very poor experience. My family walked up with our two beautiful Miniature Schnauzers. They're very clean and well behaved. We were almost immediately met by a very rude employee. I wish I had gotten her name, but a woman in a backwards baseball cap immediately came out and asked "are those service dogs?" I said no they are just family dogs. She said we are not a dog friendly restaurant. I said nicely. Oh I thought thought they were allowed because I have seen dogs here before. Usually, I will call a restaurant before we go to ask if they allow dogs on their patio. She was exceedingly rude to us spouting off that "it's all over our Website and social media that we do not allow pets." First of all, she was very rude! Second, this is just an outdoor arrangement of food trucks where you buy your food from the individual trucks and there are plastic tables where you can sit and eat it. We were not going inside. We purposely walked around the side to not go through the bar. We were simply going to purchase food from one of the food trucks and sit and eat it. It was very disappointing because we had planned a Sunday afternoon with our two adult daughters and driven over 30 minutes to get there. We walked right across to Se7enBites restaurant, asked and were told the dogs were welcome on their patio. We sat and enjoyed a delicious lunch with our family. On our quick walk there, my daughter looked up à la cart and could not find anywhere that it said no dogs allowed. She went back in to ask her where it said that. The woman saw her standing there and looked away quickly. She waited, and the woman glanced back a couple more times and then turned away quickly. She left and we decided to write a review instead. I will not be returning. I understand different places have different rules and I'm very respectful of that. But, there was no reason to speak to us the way she did. read more

Tasted two of the carts at this establishment we loved the Poké bowls as well as the ice cream from the fry cart! The Poké bowls are a big size for $20 and came with an array of toppings, homemade sauces, and tasted very fresh. The price is a little steep, but I love helping a small business. The ice cream with the freshly made waffle and toppings on the fry cart was 10 out of 10 I would come back to this place just for this dessert. keep in mind on Tuesdays. It's a bit more crowded due to trivia. The ambiance is casual outdoor grab and go seating, with no AC so it's super hot in summer. There's also a brewery there with a huge selection of choices. A hidden venue which food trucks can come and serve their selective menus. Also include an area of seating "inside" and outside. I'm all for food trucks however, for some reason the taste and flavors were just not there for the selections we got. We visited "Steak It Easy Food Truck" for their "Picanha Steak Sandwich" and "Cheese Tots". The steak sandwich includes their Picanha Slices with melted provolone and a white hoagie(grilled) to hold all of it together including "chimichuri sauce" on the side to put within your sandwich. Texture wise it was amazing, steak was chewy yet soft to bit. Taste wise, it was very much lacking. Cheese tots is just mozzarella filled fried within a dough. We then visited "Ceylon Roti Hut" for their "Pork Roti" which includes a nice flakey breading along with their pork and cheese. Comes with a sauce that tastes very much like curry. Both together tasted good however without the sauce, the Pork Roti probably would've tasted dry. Overall, the venue is very nice but the food was lacking taste. A La Cart is always a good time! We came on a Tuesday for trivia night, beer and food. I'm so happy that it's kid friendly so I didn't need to find a sitter. The bartender was quick to serve my friends and I and recommended which beer to get based on what I usually like. This place is a very social place, so expect it to be loud and a fun environment. The food I got was from the pizza food truck and my pizza sando was way bigger than I expected. I got my son a whole pizza for himself and we both ended up taking half home. Went to check out Heat Week at À la Cart this past weekend which is there annual celebration featuring all things spicy -- food & drinks! They are also #6 on Yelp's Top Places to Drink in Orlando, and you can definitely see why. This is a very popular outdoor and open air concept, and you'll find a lot of families hanging out here since it's also kid-friendly. It looks like they've added some additional outdoor seating along the perimeter of the building to accommodate the crowd, especially on the weekends. This place is poppin' on a Saturday evening! They have 5 food trucks onsite, featuring a variety of different food styles. For the Heat Week specials, The Flaming Taki Bao Buns from Poke Kai and the Spicy Falafel & Fries from Korgette (plant based) definitely caught my eye. For drinks, they have tons of local beer, cider, and sour options on tap, as well as by the can. We tried the Gimme Swelter (mango habanero sour) and the spicy margarita slush -- so refreshing on a hot day! First of all, we had no idea this gem of a space was tucked into the Milk District! We are in this area often and were surprised by this cute and modern space featuring food trucks and craft beer in an indoor/outdoor combo. We came specifically to try Fly Guy Pizza Pie, a food truck featured in their outdoor space along with a handful of other trucks. We ordered via a touch screen and waited for our freshly-made pizza while the space started up their trivia for the night - it was packed! That being said, definitely check the events out here before you come - there isn't a ton of seating and on busy nights it can be hard to find somewhere to camp out with your group. They also don't allow pets, which came as a surprise considering all of the dog-friendly breweries and outdoor spaces nearby. We took our pizza to go, and it was tasty! Their dough feels different than a traditional woodfired crust - it's a little softer and a little thicker without being overwhelming or too filling. It makes for a more substantial pizza that isn't overly thin! We tried 3 of their specialty pizzas, and all were loved! I had the Mars, featuring pepperoni and hot honey, and it really hit the spot. A perfect amount of topping and soft crust! The white sauce of the Moon was also delightful. These pies come in at a little bit of an expensive price, which is what you get with food trucks and spaces like this. Definitely worth a visit though! read more

We spotted this place after finishing lunch at nearby Il Pescatore. I was curious about what it was, so we went over and stopped in to check it out. It's a cool concept! They have an outdoor area with several different food trucks and seating, and then an indoor area that has seating and beers available. Since we'd just eaten, we didn't partake in the food trucks this time, but I can't wait to go back and try them. We did decide to grab a beer. They have a lot of local selections which I thought was cool. I don't remember exactly which beers we ordered; I believe I grabbed a Pilsner of some sort. There are 5 different food trucks anchored here. There were 5 of us, and we were each able to choose something different. I went with Poke Kai. I had the Poke "burger," which was actually a mound of seaweed salad with seasoned tofu squares between two crispy fried rice patties!!! Even though I was stuffed 1/3 of the way through, I finished it!! I was actually a little uncomfortable it was so much food. But it was SO good. I could NOT stop!!! I should note that I did alter the order to hold (not include) all meat/fish ingredients, but they made it to order and were SO good about understanding my preference and so accommodating it was just a completely enjoyable experience. We also got fried cheese balls and a falafel wrap from a separate truck, and even though I only had a few bites, they were both fantastic. The cheese balks were super crispy on the outside with gooey melted cheese inside. The wrap was really good and stuffed to the verge of barely being contained. We also got drinks from the bar inside; Where we also sat (since it was raining). I had a flight, so I was able to choose multiple different drinks. Overall, I had a completely enjoyable experience, and I am excited to go back and try even more good food in a cute little environment with great staff and service!! read more
