Finally had the chance to stop in and play with the kids. It's cute but when we went it was just the downstairs that was open and it felt small. There weren't too many people there and the kids had a lot of fun themselves. There are small treats and drinks you can order while you are there. A Latte Fun left a latte be desired. This is a great place to come if you'd like for your little to pick up a communicable disease and warrant a trip to PM Peds. The place was filthy - it's quite obvious when your children's clothing is covered in brown and black dirt from playing or crawling around on the floor. Gross. The person working here spent zero time supervising the play space or cleaning up/reorganizing any of the play areas. Instead, they sat on the counter doom scrolling. If this is an establishment that serves food and drinks, I don't know, maybe don't sit on the prep space? It's not sanitary nor is it professional. Another mom made us aware of an upstairs play area for the smaller crew. This wasn't told to us by the person working when we came in or at any point during our stay. We made our way upstairs where it was dark and uninviting. They had a bounce house which was in working order, but that too was dirty. All the toys up here were broken and busted or missing batteries. What? Where's the maintenance? The other parents here barely paid attention to their kids so if you come, put your phone down and be vigilant. My friend's younger daughter was on the carousel and bigger kids were being wild and running around on top of it so I had to swoop her off so she wouldn't be trampled. Another boy kept taking play food where my daughter was sitting at a small table and taking her plate and flinging it across the room, several times. While I'm not that child's parent, I had no issue stepping in when safety and kindness were being compromised. A latte germs, zero supervision. It's a one and done from us, especially with so many other play spaces popping up on the island. read more

We came here for a 3 year old's birthday and were pleasantly surprised! A spacious setup with half being an actual coffee bar with coffee, tea, and even alcohol and the other side a play area for the kids. The macchiato and chai latte they made were delicious. They offer milk substitutes too which is a plus! The space was decorated for the birthday boy's theme Toy Story and the staff was incredibly helpful and interactive. Definitely the place you want to be if you want the adults to have a good time as the kids play. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but our visit to A Latte Fun was a letdown. First and foremost, it was dirty. My 13-month-old is a crawler, and her clothes were filthy by the time we left. Clearly, the floors are not cleaned regularly. Even worse, I found a large metal bolt on the play floor -- or rather, my baby found it and tried to put it in her mouth. There were no employees supervising the play area, and many parents weren't doing much either. While my baby was already on the carousel, several older kids ran up and tried to take it over, nearly shoving her off. My friend had to scoop her up before she was pushed. The play areas were completely disorganized. Toys were everywhere and nothing was being reset or cleaned up. The imaginative play zones looked like a tornado hit them. I also found out -- from another parent, not an employee -- that there was an upstairs toddler area for smaller kids. When we checked it out, it was dark, poorly maintained, and full of broken or battery-operated toys that didn't work. I didn't order anything from the cafe, but I did see the sole employee sitting on the counter scrolling through her phone while all of this was going on. This space has potential, but it desperately needs better cleanliness, toy maintenance, and staff involvement -- especially when it comes to keeping kids safe. We just hosted our 2 year old Twin Bday party here and the other parents and I cannot rave enough at how wonderful the experience here was! We had a Bluey themed party and it was perfect! Our party had two helpers who made unlimited coffees and teas. They were better than Starbucks honestly. The girls we SO kind with the kids. Even got on the floor to give them stick on tattoos. The pizza from Umbertos was really good! They even offered gluten free pizza for a guest of ours which she declared was the best gluten free pizza she's ever had! The kids ran and played and had the absolute best time! The parents could actually sit back, relax and have a conversation, knowing the kids were safe! We would absolutely do this again! I have been taking my son here for the last two years. We've always had great experiences and I love the events they do around the holidays. We've done so many and I think they're great and prices are very reasonable. My son always has a blast! The reason for my three stars it's not really for the business but more so for the parents that take their kids to these places that are sick or even if it's been a week or two since recovering from an illnesses. I went to an event last week and three or four children are literally hacking coughing up sick runny noses, and it just made me very uncomfortable because myself as a parent would not take my child to an indoor place no matter what I know it's hard for the establishment to kind of regulate this, but I think there needs to be a better process for cleaning after the kids leave. There's no way staff can disinfect and clean and sanitize everything in between plays there isn't enough time. The space is on the smaller side and it does become a little crowded with parents in the play area with the kids. read more

We first went to latte fun when it first opened and come back through out the years. I am SO happy it survived the challenges of the pandemic because it is such a cute fun place for little ones. I will say any child over four is to old for the place as there are so many little ones crawling and toddling around. The only negative comment I have: is simply because it has been around for a while and kids play here: it is starting to get a little run down in some areas. Some of the walls looks beat up and there use to be more little toys. But I understand with the pandemic maybe limiting toys. When they first opened they had more workers going around and cleaning toys and picking up play areas while kids were here, but I haven't see that in a while. It is still beautiful and cute and fun...but a tiny worn out and toys slightly sparse. But we still enjoy coming and will be back!! read more

The activities, toys, merry go round were so much fun for the 24 3 & 4 year olds who attended. Cute little spot, wanted to like it but isnt safe. Only one worker for the place...managing check ins, setting up for birthday party and selling food items. Never once looked at the play area to make sure everyone was following the rules. The rules were posted on the wall but nobody ensured they were read let alone followed. The play area was set up like a railroad so there was only one path for traffic. Several children collided into each other as well as adults. The children werent necessarily supervised by their caregiver either because on several occasions a child came up to me to ask for help. I felt like i had to police my own children as well as everyone elses. My daughter was on the trampoline by herself at one point and two older girls ran in started bouncing around. She lost her balance and landed funny. Now we have to deal with an ankle fracture for the next 4 weeks. Two families went through a gated area. Apparantly there is an upstairs section for younger children? Since most of us werent there before we were never made aware of it. Was it even open? Was there a worker upstairs? Was it cleaned? Needless to say I will not be returning. So disappointed. read more

I like this place but I have noticed something there that bugs me. It seems the owner expects her staff to watch her son while she is doing whatever up in her office. On several occasions I have noticed the staff member/barista interacting specifically with one boy and later on I came to find out this is the owner's son. On 4 separate occasions I have seen staff babysitting this kid. In one instance she was telling her son not to do something(from a distance away) and then told the staff to relay the message because he wasn't listening to her as she went upstairs. I find this to be unprofessional. If you can't watch your own kid then leave him at home. I just hope the staff are getting extra money to follow this kid around. They even take pictures of him playing and I'm assuming they text them to this woman who is never around. read more

Visit Date: April 3, 2021 I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE play places that have coffee options available for parents. This is the second place on Long Island that I know of besides sippy cups to do this. My son is almost 5 and pretty tall so he'll be too old for these types of places soon, so I figured I'd live it up this year and I paid $55 for him to have what I called the deluxe Easter bunny experience. He LOVEs the Easter Bunny and I can't not take him to see the bunny until he's over it as a teen. If you're wondering what the deluxe easter bunny experience is, it's an option that a latte fun made where you pay $55 and your kid gets pizza (which my son won't eat but grandpa had his slice), a cupcake, juice, time to play and the child is called to go upstairs and meet the Easter bunny. Once we were leaving the play place we got a glittery egg filled with some goodies as a present from the Easter Bunny. The next morning using Canva on my phone because I'm a Tupac obsessed lunatic I used a photo of the egg and overlayed Tupac's image on it for a Tupac Easter Egg. So the Easter egg was a goody for myself and my son. The play options here are great, an indoor playground, fake food play, a carousel my son loved all of it. I heard him tell one of the kids see the lady with the purple hair that's my mommy. Heartwarming! I'd love to get my son back here before he's too old for it, he had a latte fun! I've been stalking this place on instagram for the longest time lol. I finally ran here one day before they closed for my boy to play. It's such a cute place. It's such weird times right now and my son being an only child I was happy he could actually see some children, as he cautiously was like wait there are people like me? lol. Anyway I hope to come back soon and my son get more used to seeing actual children. It was very clean and they were super nice. I'm happy they remained open after all the craziness also, so many places sadly closed. I'd definitely add this to a list of must go places with your kid. Beware booking private parties with A Latte Fun. We booked our party 2 weeks ago and placed a "non refundable" deposit of $150 which was charged to my credit card. The party was confirmed on the phone, again through the online booking system, and finally by receiving a text with a photo of the contract and receipt for the deposit being charged. Today, after spending money on and sending out invitations, we received a call telling us that they "double booked" our party and we would have to cancel. Pretty ridiculous to cancel our party 2 weeks after booking. I would book elsewhere and save yourself the potential for having your party canceled on you. read more

There's a lot to keep kids entertained from a climbing area with slides to a bounce trampoline. The mini carousel is adorable . There's even a small play town area with a grocery store, bakery, kitchen. Oh and a LEGO table and big dollhouse and wooden train set too! Great local business, I wish there were one closer to my home! We went here for a Birthday party and were so impressed by the team managing it. It was so stress free, the adults truly were able to relax and watch the kids from the other side while the kids had fun and stayed entertained. This is the first and only time in my life I've felt so comfortable leaving the kids without staying right with them during the while party. But I saw a Facebook ad how you could have Marshall from paw patrol come to your house and drop off an activity kit. $30 ..I said why not. Yea it was only a few minutes but I'm this weird world to see the smile on my sons face when Marshall came out of the car, danced around and dropped of a kit was worth it. They notified us a week before of the time from they would be coming and then the day off I got a text 5 min before arriving. With the pandemic winding down but still concerned about safety how do you have a birthday party for a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old? Rent out A Latte Fun. Not as expensive as you would think and gives you complete control of the guest list. So my 2 grand daughters were the guests of honor and their parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle and godparents all fully vaccinated celebrated them. Completely closed to outsiders the kids raced from fun to fun including a merry go round and climbing ladders and slides. Price included pizza and we also had a 6ft hero for the adults. They provided 2 employees who kept everything sanitized and wore masks as did the guests.
