Wonderful little spot with a dog-friendly patio and delicious pastas. There is a small parking lot. They have wine deals on Tuesdays with discounts on rotating bottles of wine. We made a reservation ahead and enjoyed dinner on the patio. The mista salad was amazing added to my entree for $3. The bolognese was my personal favorite. I will come back and order it again. The cacio e Pepe left a lot to be desired, and I've had many cacio e pepe dishes in Italy and the US, but I'll still return often and try other things on the menu. First course (we shared everything) was a summer salad with a grilled peach, feta, arugula, and other lovely things Second course: fusilli with scallops. The sauce had just a bit of cream -- not too much -- and it was lovely. Third course: lovely duck breast. It came with an amazing savory blueberry sauce. Wow. The duck as was a bit past medium rare we had requested but with the sauce, we didn't care. I was tempted to lick the plate. Dessert was bread pudding. It came with caramel sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Tasty but a bit heavy. Note to chef: try it just once with croissants as the base. . You won't go back. Madeleine, our server, was terrific. We found the restaurant a mono on Yelp and the reviews did not dissapoint. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with twinkly lights and dimmed lighting. The service was impeccable and our waiter Hunter went above and beyond with their service to ensure we and everyone around us was having an amazing experience. We enjoyed the Burrata, the pasta special, the ribeye, Cesar brussel sprouts and the olive oil cake. I would recommend everything we had as no crumb was left behind. This place was a pleasant surprise! I see why it can be a bit difficult getting a reservation. I was wowed from the moment I got my cocktail. It was perfectly balanced. The cutest, coziest, tastiest spot for your Italian fix! Came here for dinner on Friday with a group of friends and we were promptly seated inside (thank goodness, since it lowkey felt like winter that night). They do have outdoor seating as well, I think with patio heaters. Pretty much every table was occupied - this is clearly a popular restaurant, so make sure to book ahead if you can! Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, and helped give us some good recommendations for antipasti as well as entrees. We ended up splitting the fried ravioli (SO good, my personal favorite starter), burrata (which is served with perfectly toasted bread), and beef carpaccio. For my entree, I got the fusilli, which was super decadent, flavorful, served with tender scallops, and came in a generous portion (trust me, your stomach will be plenty satisfied). The presentation of everything was very commendable as well! If you get here early enough, there's plenty of street parking options (since the parking lot itself is really tiny). This particular area of O4W is really cute and charming - could be nice to walk around after such a fulfilling meal. I'd definitely come back to try more of their dishes! Deliziosa! read more

There were bugs in our food and management tried to make it funny by referring to the food as "live food" and suggesting that was expected in "live food". I didn't think it was funny to see creepy crawlies in the salad. Also the parking here is terrible. Definitely not recommended for large parties. read more

Food. Amazing. Wonderful flavors. If I could review on food alone I'd say 5 but alas food alone doesn't make you want to come back when the service doesn't match. We made a ressie for a 9pm spot on the deck. The hostess sat as promptly and our serve walked up without saying hi, hello, have you dined here before, any menu questions, specials. She said they were out of a particular dish and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't yet of course as it was our first time here and we hadn't seen or known the menu and were hoping for a few recommendations or a run down, so we settled in on some of the House wine as we looked further. We decided on the pasta dish with mushrooms and scallops and the carbonara and starting with the bread app -- which was different and tasty and came pretty promptly upon ordering. We were able to order another glass of wine at the time but that was the last time our waitress came by to check on us sadly. She passed by us twice {in the small outdoor deck with only two other couples out there} without looking our way or asking how we were. Our food came out a bit later still our server didn't check and see how it came out or if we needed anything. We had wanted to order some potatoes we saw come out and also more wine, but unfortunately we left without ordering either as by the time she came back outside our meals were both finished and we flagged her down for the check. Very unexpected poor service. That said both of our dishes were perfect portions and amazing flavors without being heavy or doused in sauces. The house wine was fantastic and worth double the cost of just $7 reminded me of the great cheap wine in our Europe travels. The porch had a nice breeze from the fans which worked even on a warm summer night. Maybe if we come back and try again our service will be up to par. read more

Saw some good reviews for this place and was invited by some friends to celebrate some good news. To drink I ordered the old fashioned. There was nothing fancy to it, and it was tasty. To share, we ordered the octopus, the burrata, and the beef carpaccio. All of it was delicious, though I wish the burrata was a bit creamier as it had a harder consistency than what I was used to. Octopus was seasoned very well and perfectly cooked. We are big eaters, so we also got pasta to share, the cacio y pepe. The taste was also there, but I wish the noodles were a tad bit softer. I think it came out a bit too al dente for me. That being said, it was delicious as leftovers the next day. I got the bolognese for my entree and I think this was my favorite dish of the night. I sampled the carbonara as well and i thought mine was better. The ambiance here is very cool too. It was a pretty cold night but their covered and enclosed outside patio with space heaters really made it like we were inside. The service here was phenomenal. The charred cabbage is probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. All our food was delicious. I was very pleased at the number of vegetarian/vegan options. And I couldn't believe how reasonably priced the menu was. We probably ordered too much because we expected smaller portions. We had a lively, new experience. None of us had tried (or heard of) amaro before and we were intrigued by the flavors listed on the menu. Our server was so gracious in explaining what amaro was and how to pair it with our food. I rarely write reviews but this was so worth it! I had such a yummy mushroom sandwich here. As a vegetarian usually the options can be pretty blah. But here, I was so pleasantly surprised with the sandwich and the flavors! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The only thing I would recommend is more vegetarian options. I went during lunch and there was one sandwich and one pasta that could be considered vegetarian although they do have salad options as well! Also the ambiance was so nice.. This is a great little Italian place right in the best part of ATL! The hostess was very attentive because our table wasn't ready right away, but that didn't matter... Everything we got was top notch. We started with the calamari and burrata. The calamari was accompanied by fried zucchini and squash which added a nice twist to the dish. The burrata was my favorite appetizer of the night. The bread that came with the burrata had the perfect crunch. Next we got the scallop pasta and the bolognese. These were amazing. The scallop pasta was creamy and cheesy. The scallops had a great flavor almost tasted like steak. The bolognese was my pick out of the two entrees. The ricotta cheese made the bolognese extra creamy. The best part of the bolognese was the little spice in the sauce. Anyone who lives in the area should check out A Mano. read more

Updating my review two years later. They are perfect! The fusilli with scallops is still my go to. Whenever family comes in from out of town this is where we take them. An underrated feature of this restaurant is their cocktail game!! The cocktails are legit good, like on the level of any of Atlanta's many craft cocktail bars. And they change the cocktail menu frequently. The service is also really good. The staff is so friendly and I'm learning all their names. The outdoor area is dog friendly. Parking is limited but you can usually find some within a couple blocks. read more

I love this place so I am not sure why I have never reviewed my lovely neighborhood restaurant. I'm I recall we had an issue with getting charged too much the first time we came here when they first opened, but when we came back and told them they corrected in and gave us free drinks so all good. We have come here so many times since then my hubby was sure I wrote a review for here. We have slowly devoured so many things here it is hard to recall them all, but I will try. Burrata comes to mind first because it is one thing we order every time we are here (unless it is a pop up night). The Burrata is melt in your mouth savory tang as you add a hint of fruit with a buttery crisp end of Perfection! Next item is the charred octopus. Oh, the charred octopus. Octopus is hard to cook but the chef knows how to char it to perfection so it is crispy and soft. I get so annoyed when it is chewy. I'm not a dog playing with a chew toy. I want my octopus crispy and soft. The potatoes, fennel, and citrus are lovely complimentary additions to octopus. For the main courses- Fusilli- As with octopus, the way you cook scallops can make them or break them. These are cooked so the can be cut with your fork and melt in your mouth. They plate it with tender fusilli, rainbow chard, and mushrooms, items I love and a cream that is lite and doesn't overpower any other flavor of the food. Carbonara- As a pescatarian, I cannot speak for the pancetta on this dish as we got it on the side so my hubby could enjoy it and he did. He said it made the dish, but I felt it was perfect without it. I enjoyed every single bite of the tagliatelle, peas and oh so perfectly runny farm egg. read more

It's been years since I've been here and I really don't know why as it was just as good as I remember it. We sat outside on their temporary covid patio tent with some warmers. Not the most scenic but enough ambiance to enjoy the tasty food. We got the steak frites and crawfish pomodoro pasta. Both were excellent. The former was salty and savory while the latter was a little spicy with a nice tang. The cauliflower side dish with creamy butter sauce was bomb. We didn't love the drinks we had at first but they grew on us (the a mano bourbon and the Diablo special). Drinks and food aren't cheap but they are fair considering the quality. Service was prompt and friendly. Will be back sooner next time! read more

This has been on my list for a while but of course covid created a delay in that! I am gluten free and have heard wonderful things about the gluten free pasta here so my husband and I finally got a chance away from the kids and tried it out. We sat outside on a chilly night but the heaters were enough to keep us warm with jackets on. The overall experience was good, but I felt for the price point the service was sub par (I.e. had to find our own silverware and napkins) I do realize during these times staff in restaurants are over worked so this shouldn't affect your decision on going! I got the insalata mista and the Bucatini alla Bolognese with gf pasta and a delicious glass of wine. I've been told to call ahead about the quantities of gf pasta available, I didn't but actually lucked out! The pasta didn't taste like your usual gf home bought pasta and that alone is enough to get me to come back and try it with another sauce. We were both happy with the amount and satisfied with the taste. Incredible experience. Came here for my birthday and had one of my most memorable dinners in a long time. Burrata was delicious and would order again certainly. Fusilli e scallops and the shrimp rigatoni were well executed. Our waiter was the bar manager and very knowledgeable about the whole menu and especially with the wines; he came by just enough to take care of us while letting us enjoy each other's company. Above all, I got a very strong impression of great service. I was surprised to find out all the staff I ran into knowing it was my birthday (I did indicate that when I booked but didn't think much of it). An okay lunch spot, would go again if in the area and really hungry, but wouldn't go out of my way for. Had vegetarian and veggie options. Got the mushroom sandwich (seasonal mushrooms, fontina, emmental, romesco, arugula, sourdough), tomato basil soup, and snickerdoodle as part of the $15.50 lunch combo.
