Unfortunately, this is the only photo I took because I was really engaged in great company. Nonetheless, the experience was great! Clayton was our server, and he did an excellent job of walking us thru the menu. I actually chose several of his recommendations. We started off with the burrata and yellowtail sashimi (my personal fav), then for main courses we had the branzino (10/10) and halibut with truffle Mac (5/10), Brussels (8/10), and roasted carrots (8/10). I enjoyed a red and white wine and also a complimentary chocolate mousse with hazelnut. Fantastic dining experience. Beautiful setting with enjoyable music. Will 100% be back

Food: great Service: impeccable Ambiance: classy and moody The standard of fine dining in Atlanta! This restaurant is tucked away at The Forth Hotel in the Old Fourth Ward. You can park in the hourly lot right in front or do valet at the entrance for $25 (4-8 hours). I came here on a Thursday evening with 2 friends around 7pm and had no wait at all. They have a lovely bar outside of the dining room with amazing mixologists who can skillfully make you whatever you like. They even serve Uncle Nearest and make a lovely old fashioned with it. The service was IMPECCABLE. They started by giving us complimentary mini parmesan cracker sandwiches and bread. I had the mero grouper with broccoli. It was fantastic. I enjoyed every bite. Our amazing waitress recommended we have the lemon ricotta bomboloni and it did not disappoint. It was so perfectly sweet, delicious and light after a filling meal. The ambience was dark and moody in the best way. A five star experience all across the board. Our waitress even made impromptu reservations for us to head up to the Moonlight rooftop bar onsite afterwards. If you have the Platinum AmEx card and use it to pay for your bill, you can dine here and receive your quarterly $100 Resy credit on your next statement (despite whether you've made a reservation or not).

You have to come here! Ambiance is 11/10. We came on a Monday night, so pretty quiet in the dining room, but not empty. And the bar was full when we first arrived. Right from the start, the service was incredible. Valet greeted me, shared instructions to get to the restaurant. The door was opened for me upon arrival to the front entrance. The hostess was warm & welcoming, telling my guest happy birthday from the start. Our server Clayton was incredible. I learned very early to trust his suggestions!! The Cosa Sta'Mangiando cocktail was recommended by Clayton and was INCREDIBLE. We each had 2 rounds! I am not sure what the little Parmesan crisp starter dish he brought out was called, but absolutely delicious ! Between us, we share the buratta, risotto, frites, carrots & macaroni (which has a fancier name on the menu). All absolutely incredible, especially the macaroni. My bf had the NY Strip cooked to perfection. I am a vegetarian, and even I could tell you that steak looked perfect! Definitely a wonderful location for an upscale dinner with fine dining service. Can't wait to come back!

I went here on a solo date and it was truly the best dining experience I've had in a long time. My waiter was Eric. Eric took his time explained the menu and recommending the best items for me. I loved the vibe of this place it's truly fine dining at its finest. Ask for Eric if you go. Don't make the mistake i made of not leaving room for steak because that's what they are known for. Next time I'll bring a friend so i can have someone to split everything with.

Italian Steakhouse Says It All - The Best of All Worlds Walked into IL Premio on a Monday night and was told there was an hour wait for a table, so I headed to the bar- fortunately, a seat was open. I started with one of my favorite Reposados by Herradura. For my Crudi, I ordered the Ricciola alla Puttanesca, what i thought was going to be a classic Italian seafood dish that traditionally features ricciola (Italian amberjack) in puttanesca sauce. The menu noted it was made with yellowtail, which piqued my curiosity. I expected the ricciola to be pan-seared or lightly grilled and finished with the sauce, or served with the sauce spooned over the top. To my surprise, the dish arrived as thinly sliced raw yellowtail, presented sashimi/crudo-style. Each slice was topped with a small amount of sauce infused with capers, Taggiasca olives, Calabrese chiles, and possibly sun-dried tomatoes, all classic puttanesca ingredients. Microgreens completed the presentation. This could be described as a "ricciola crudo with puttanesca-style garnish" rather than a traditional cooked ricciola alla puttanesca. Essentially, the chef uses the puttanesca flavor profile (capers, olives, chiles, tomato, oil) as a raw topping instead of cooking the fish in the sauce. While it's raw, it's a modern, crudo-style interpretation inspired by puttanesca flavors and I'm a fan. I'll order it again and again. For my Secondi, I had the Risotto ai Funghi, a classic Italian dish featuring creamy arborio rice with shiitake and hen-of-the-woods (maitake) mushrooms and a hint of lemon. Served piping hot, it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed another Reposado by Herradura. IL Premio is so much more than a steakhouse. The food is thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is refined, service by Janlan was excellent and it is a fitting restaurant for an outstanding hotel property.

Randomly found this restaurant and thought it would be a perfect birthday date night and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and the servers were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We were first served a small bite, which was cheesy/salty. Then we started with the delicious burrata, it was the perfect temperature and was nicely dressed with tomato eggplant caponata. It was light and the perfect starter. For our pasta selection we chose the most delicious red sauce pasta. We finished with the 18oz dry strip steak which was expertly cooked. As a dessert we went with the Bombolini which was sweet but not overpowering. I could eat these over and over again!

The ambiance is great. There was live piano music in the bar/lounge area while waiting for seating. Everything was very yummy and service was good. Even the bathrooms had really cute ambiance.

If you're looking for a ln upscale, romantic vibe for your next date night (or just a fine dining night out after work) add il Premio to your list. Located inside of the Forth Hotel, IL Premio not only provides an array of choices to satisfy your taste buds--but the service is also top tier. The ambience is everything it should be for a fine establishment. And after dinner head to the 16th floor for the rooftop vibes at Moonlight.

I am such a fan of the Forth Hotel's other restaurants so I was super excited to finally try Il Premio! I made a reservation for a Friday night and I definitely recommend to do so. When we checked in they gave us the option to sit in the bar lounge to begin with drinks and we happily went along. The lounge is BEAUTIFUL. The ambiance is simply divine. Live piano music and a gorgeously decorated area. After we enjoyed the lounge we made our way to the table. Overall the dining experience was amazing, but I really loved that lounge! The food was all pretty average, and extremely expensive. So if I come back I will probably make it a lounge/bar spot no food. The branzino was okay and the Brussels sprouts were also okay. Bread service is complimentary as well as a cheese cracker to begin the meal.

Enjoyed dinner at Il premio. Had a dinner for 4 on a Saturday evening. The bar was a good size and busy when we arrived. We were seated promptly when our table was complete. They require your entire table to order all courses before they'll begin serving so we probably waited longer than anticipated to eat but all good. We enjoyed the burrata and octopus to start. Both were good, safe choices. We loved the brown butter and sage pasta. Grouper was good as well as steak. Nothing stood out but everything was solid. Cute spot with a rooftop bar moonlight. Great for a business meal or first date. The som was great. Our table enjoyed the wine selections.

This restaurant is incredible! The customer service is impeccable. Our waiter, Shane, was extremely knowledgeable, comical, attentive, and engaging. He made all the best recommendations. The hostess was equally pleasant, taking pictures for us... these two were reflective of the whole vibe of the restaurant... service with pleasure. The ambiance is seductive, entrancing, romantic. The furniture boasts of deep colors, unique patterns, and velvety fabrics... being there heightens the urge for stimulating conversations and interpersonal connections. And the food! Oh my... everything was simply delectable. If I lived in ATL, this would certainly be a staple.

I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Our server, Robert, was fantastic--attentive without being overbearing. He made great recommendations and was happy to move us from a small table to a more comfortable booth when we asked. They offer a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, but we opted for "Mocktail #2," which was pink, fruity, and refreshing with watermelon, mint, and lime soda. We started with the Chargrilled Louisiana Oysters, which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious--honestly, the best I've ever had. The Volcano Roll was also great--generous in size and perfect for sharing. It's listed as having "spicy crab," but I didn't find it spicy at all (a plus for me!). If you want more heat, wasabi is served on the side. For entrees, I had the Salmon Teriyaki and my husband had the Braised Beef. My salmon was perfectly cooked and came with fluffy white rice and mixed vegetables. But he definitely won the entree round--his beef was tender, flavorful, and served with what tasted like sweet mashed potatoes (the menu said red potatoes). The glazed carrots were slightly firm but still tasty. To top it all off, we were served a mini chocolate cake with whipped vanilla icing--soft, rich, and perfect for sharing. The inside isn't the largest resource been to, but has plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and we saw people dressed up and down. Overall, we had a great experience. First, I tried to see the menu online but quickly found there are a lot of menus and they change, so you can't really know what they're serving. They had just five entrees to pick from, and none were very appetizing. Each was over-engineered, too. They were good about asking about allergies, but if you're traveling and careful about introducing new things to your diet, maybe this place isn't for you. They do have a steak. At $200, it's made for the entire table. You can't just get a steak, even though they clearly have steak. Frankly, a lot of the menu was just gross. Sweetbreads, steak tartare, veal. We picked a chicken plate with potatoes. The potatoes were fine. The chicken was very dry. I asked for iced tea. "We don't serve tea products" was the response. WTF? And while the cocktail and wine choices seemed numerous, the beer was extremely limited. We just stuck with water. Then there was the service. The staff were polite and prompt, but some of the habits were just deeply weird. They kept coming by and folding our napkins. Like, you get up, use the bathroom (an unmarked door adjacent to the kitchen), come back, and somebody has picked up your napkin, the one you've been touching your face with, folded it with their bare hands, and left it there. Look, servers roll silverware and I'm no germophobe, but we really don't need more people touching my napkin throughout the meal, do we? This carried over to other staff who would randomly stop by to clear plates and wipe the table down while we all had to stop talking, watch them replace perfectly clean silverware with new perfectly clean silverware, and then leave. Always with new people. None of this makes it a bad restaurant. It's probably exactly what some people are looking for. It just isn't for me.
