Probably the best bolognese I've ever tried! We had a 9:15 reservation and were seated right away. I loved the atmosphere, very small and quaint. Very nice vibe and would love to try and sit outside next time. My boyfriend got the bolognese and I got the Cacio de Pepe. Both were delicious but the bolognese was stand out. We also got the side of the potatoes with the salsa verde and they were very tasty and crispy. We also ordered the bread to start with and was great with the olive oil and balsamic. Made a reservation at a mano for Saturday at 8pm thinking that I was just being cautious but I'm glad I did because there looked to be a wait the whole time we were there. It is small and cozy inside and people were also seated on the patio which was enclosed and heated since it was pretty cold outside. There was no free parking on arrival but we parked one street back and had no problem there. We started with cocktails and I had the Fiore. It was tart and fresh tasting, not too sweet. The Burrata was next and I thought it was excellent, maybe the best burrata I've had? There was a perfect amount of salt and I loved the tomato jam, the basil, and the smoke from the grilled bread. My friend had the Mezzaluna which completely stole the show. The Mushrooms were perfectly cooked and the dish was full of vegetarian umami. I had the cacio e pepe which I thought was good but could use maybe just a little more cheese as the pasta at the bottom lacked flavor. Overall it was a really good experience and I will definitely be back for more hand made noodle deliciousness soon. read more

It looked like all the tables were full, so reservations are highly recommended on weekend nights. Food -- we ordered a burrata appetizer, fusilli with scallops, carbonara tagliatelle, cacio e pepe, a pizza off their seasonal menu, and an affogato. The pizza was nothing to write home about, the cacio e Pepe was uneventful and I wouldn't recommend it. Their burrata is your standard, yet delicious, lump of cheese easily findable in Italian spots. But the fusilli and carbonara are both standout superstars on a mano's menu. Highly recommend these two pasta dishes, as well as their affogato for dessert. Service and ambience -- service was impeccably right. Not at all invasive, and with just the right amount of attention to our table. Our server was knowledgeable and genuinely understood what dishes would best suit patrons. Holy cow. I'm still grinning. From the moment I called to push back my reservation (Caitlin is an amazing hostess) to the time we walked out the door - a mano did not disappoint. The atmosphere is delightful - feeling upscale but not pompous. The warmth and intimacy lends itself to a good date night location. To start we ordered the Italian skillet bread. Which with a drizzle of balsamic, had a great balance of acidity and richness from the oil and garlic. The balsamic also added just a touch of dare I say, sweetness. We couldn't get enough! I ordered the roasted duck breast, while my date ordered the ravioli with fried okra and ricotta. My duck was absolutely mind blowing - tasting rich and buttery like a perfect steak, and with a blueberry sauce that complimented it perfectly. His ravioli was spot on, and the fried okra was a delicious seasonal touch. Finally, we ordered the bread pudding - which was refreshing to see used what appeared to be a creme fraiche and custard instead of the typical Americanized ice cream. The toffee bits on top added a delightful crunch and extra sugary sweetness. All in all, one of the best date nights we've had in Atlanta - and can't wait to try more of their menu! read more

Such a wonderful selection of food. The burrata was a beautiful plate, with buttered bread and balsamic oil. The scallops and mushroom was an interesting dish. Wonderful flavor, but sort of a boring, gummy consistency. Would have loved to see the addition of something crunchy or tangy on this dish. The steak nearly made me cry. The rich char, acidic chimichurri, salty fries, and perfectly simple seasoning on this decent- sized piece of meat was the highlight of my night. Until, of course, the recently redesigned bread pudding came walking out, candle aflame. The caramel syrup pooling the plate was surprisingly light and non-viscous while the decadent, warm, soaked bread and ice cream performed a magnificent dance upon my tongue. The bananas were a nice touch as well. The service was spunky and knowledgeable. Outdoor tent was a bit ramshackle, yet held strong in the face of inclement weather. I've been to a mano three times now. It's only a couple blocks from my house and one of my absolute favorites in Atlanta. All three visits have been 5 stars!! Food - small menu, but all delicious for a relatively affordable price for the quality. I usually prefer a smaller menu as that means they have really mastered everything they offer. I have eaten the charred octopus, carpaccio, burrata, insalata mista, caccio e pepe, carbonara, and 1/2 roasted chicken. everything was incredible. just had the chicken last night and the vegetables and jous gravy were to die for. Service - always pleasant and attentive! Ambience - intimate setting, great lighting, love their covered outdoor deck space. makes you feel like you could be at a restaurant in NYC eating in an outdoor deck on the street! Since I want to return so often, my only ask would be for them to rotate the menu options seasonally. I need to get here for lunch as their lunch menu also looks incredible! read more

This is probably the best Italian food I've had in Atlanta. All of their pasta is homemade and very light and airy. I'm gluten free, and they even offer a GF pasta. This GF pasta was so good, you wouldn't even know it's gluten free. As for food, we started off with the burrata. It was excellent. Our waitress knew I was gluten free, so she brought sliced radishes in addiction to the bread so I had something to put the burrata on. For dinner, I had the carbonara and it was delicious. My friend had the cacio e Pepe, and she commented on how light the sauce was compared to most other Italian restaurants. It didn't leave us overly full but rather satisfied. I dined at a mano on a Thursday night. The restaurant is super cute and intimate! We opted to sit on the patio which was very cozy. I ordered the truffle pasta and was kind of underwhelmed. The buildup for it was a lot by the waiter, so I kind of expected something more. The buratta was amazing though!! We ordered dessert, the bananas foster bread pudding. The bread was perfectly grilled & the ratio of all the items on the plate were perfection. The insalada mista was flavorful & lightly dressed. We had to try the Pork Sugo with paper thin pappardelle pasta, it was airy & so fresh, the depth of the flavor profile from the braised pork shoulder sugo was unreal. We ended the meal with the banana fosters bread pudding with their salted caramel gelato!!!!!! I'm a chocolaholic, but OMG!!!! DO NOT SKIP THIS DESSERT! My husband and I have been here twice now (once for my birthday and once to celebrate passing a professional exam), and we had a good experience both times. I wouldn't say it's the best meal I've eaten, but I love that it's unique, and the food is quite good. It's a great addition to O4W. We did have mixed dining experiences. The first time- we ate on the deck area (covered and partially conditioned). The bar height seats were so uncomfortable (like- I seriously stood up rather than sit in them) and the wait so long that we were regretting coming. But the burrata was delicious, and so were the cocktails! We enjoyed our meals and then discovered that our waiter had comped our cocktails as an apology for the long wait. We left satisfied but not overly effusive The second time- we went on a week night to celebrate a work achievement, and our experience was excellent. We were able to sit inside, and the ambiance is nice in there, although it gets a bit loud as it fills up. Good service, and the food was great. The service was great and food was definitely solid here. The burrata appetizer and banana foster bread pudding were 100% our highlights and were absolutely delicious. I had the carbonara as my entree, which was solid but could've used a bit more sauce and more cheese (even though the egg yolk on top was lovely). You could tell the pasta itself was homemade, which I appreciated. The lavender limonata was also a refreshing drink on the side. We sat in the outdoor patio, which had generally a nice vibe but was immediately next to a stoplight which led to some occasional honking. Not sure there's much the restaurant can do about this, but if this will bother you sitting inside may be a better choice. It was a dreary rainy night & our garden table seemed like it would disappoint, but we were very wrong. Daniel immediately turned on the heat lamp & offered us blankets which was so appreciated. The prosciutto washed tequila cocktail was light, refreshing, & so unique. I'd rate it a top 5 ever tried cocktails. The Italian Salad & skillet flat bread specials were amazing. They were light, flavorful & well portioned. We split the fusilli with scallops which was Devine & celebrated with lemon ricotta pound cake. Daniel was super attentive & very entertaining. My colleagues and I checked this restaurant out on our last night in Atlanta and we were not disappointed. The service we received from Matt was incredible. We had lots of questions about the menu and he had an answer for everything and gave so much detail. The cocktail menu was intriguing and he did not lead us astray when he explained each drink option to us. We each loved our drinks. We also enjoyed our food. The carrots were my favorite item. You can't go wrong with those. It was also my colleague's birthday and not only did they bring out dessert with a candle, but she received a birthday card with a handwritten note from all of the staff. What a lovely addition to the old fourth ward area! I've always had a great experience coming here, from the service to the food, it's definitely worth the experience. I'm a huge fan of Italian food and this place does it well. It can get super busy so it's recommended that you make a reservation ahead of time. I personally had no problems booking a Friday reservation on Tuesday and going back Thursday to change the time. There were many spots open, on a Friday! We were even going to be 30 min late for our reservation but we called ahead to let them know and it was no problem! Warning though, they're super busy and won't pick up the phone immediately so keep trying! The food here is incomparable to anything else around Atlanta. It's just so rich and flavorful but at the same time not overbearing. I usually cringe at the thought of peas in my pasta but the carbonara made my soul sing. We also tried the fusilli per he servers recommendation and that was just as satisfying. The mussels were one of my favorites since I'm a sucker for bread and dipping into the sauce. The beer selection was standard. The service was great despite them being busy and always had commendable recommendations. Don't be afraid to ask! I can't wait to come back! read more

If you know me you know I love Italian food, especially when the pasta is freshly made. So this place is it. The pasta is fresh and cooked Al dente the way it is supposed to be. With this foundation, the food will be on par or better. This place is a great way to get your pasta fix for sure. The flavors are very pronounced, no dull dishes here. The the scallop dish had great taste and the mushrooms were great in this dish. Goes well with their Sauvignon Blanc. The special was really good as well, crawfish fusili. Had a good amount of spice but not so much that it would take away from the dish. My youngest had the cacio de pepe (not pictured). Perfect simple bite. One thing I would hope they change back is the octopus. Used to be plated as a charred octopus sitting in sauce. Allowed the charred octopus to shine. The current plate is still good, just not as. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing is the parking is not that great. So be prepared for that. read more

Our server was super rude. The manager herself was literally forcing her smile at us. We dis not have reservations But we Were able To snag seats at the bar with a short wait. Hubby and I split a three course meal and were stuffed. Enjoyed delicious fried potato's and cauliflower apps to start followed by the Fusilli and Carbonara pasta dishes. Will be getting the Cacio e Pepe next time-it's my favorite! Friendly and attentive staff and great atmosphere. The bar isn't very big, but there's a good amount of seating indoor and out!
