I felt as though what I asked for her to focus on was not at all done, despite multiple attempts to have her just work on the areas I came into the massage parlor for. I was pretty tense the entire time because I was uncomfortable. I have been in pain since my massage. There was also another woman that came into the same room getting a massage with just a curtain separating us, which I was unaware would happen when booking online. It's also close to home & had pretty good reviews. I called and was able to schedule a same day 90 minute full body massage!! (Love the same day service, they're open later than most places, & they also accept walk-ins). * My masseuse was a really tall guy (at least 6 feet). I told him that my upper back and shoulders were killing me and asked for a deep tissue massage. That is exactly what I got!! He applied A LOT of pressure and focused on my specified areas. He also checked on me regularly to make sure that I was ok with the pressure. He did a great job working out all of the kinks. He also used hot rocks during the middle of the massage (I thought this was a plus as I wasn't expecting it) to help loosen up those muscles. I admit, I was sore when leaving, but it was a good sore that was very necessary. * If you're in need of a serious DEEP TISSUE, MUSCLES ACHING massage, then I highly recommend that guy!! 2nd Visit. * On my second visit I really just wanted to relax (no deep tissue stuff, just a relaxing massage). I got the same 90 minute massage and ended up with Penny. She was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I asked for medium pressure and didn't specify any aches or pains. * Penny was great!! I was close to falling asleep so many times!! She literally melted my muscles. She also used the hot rocks (so maybe that's part of the massage). My favorite part had to be the scalp massage and her concentration on my back and feet. I also loved the scents she used on my shoulders & face. I've never considered becoming a regular at a massage place, but now i'll be making regular appointments with Penny!!! Overall * The prices are great!! On both visits I have been able to schedule same day appointments. Parking can be a pain as there are only a few spots in the front of the establishment and it sits on a BUSY street. * They have a punch card!! After 10 visits you get a free foot massage. * Arden's Garden is next door and they play very loud music that can be heard during your massage. However, I was easily able to tune that out during my 2nd visit. * Great Place!! Great Prices!! I'm 2-2 on visits and look forward to going back soon!!
