I've asked for two different services here: 1) my shoe was slightly big, and so the owner offered a cushion pad that I can easily slide inside to create a more secure fit; 2) I needed a bigger readjustment, so the owner used his sewing machine to cut and reattach the straps, along with some padding. All times, I was very satisfied with the service, friendly encounter, and how the shoes fit. He's a true craftsman who really knows his trade and always has a solution or just about any issue you bring him, whether it involves shoes, leather, or a repair you thought might not even be possible.

He told me I came in on a Sunday when they're closed, but he's there so he helped me. I stopped by as a new customer, saw the door wide open and people inside. I approached the counter with my shoes and he offered service. He only said he was closed once I had paid for the repairs he was going to do. He is good about making recommendations to not repair if he doesn't deem it worth the cost. It wasn't my favorite spot and I won't return, but maybe you'll have better luck.

I reach out one week later to ask if they are ready and he tells me they aren't but that they will be ready 12/3. I was busy the week of 12/3 so I reach out on 12/8 to see if I can pick them up and he tells me they still aren't ready because his cobbler has been busy. I ask him to please have them ready by 12/12 and when I pick them up today they aren't exactly what I asked for. I made it SUPER clear when I dropped them off that I did not want the vibram covering any of the sizing numbers and you can clearly see the entire first row is covered and it's not even a straight cut on the right shoe. I also asked him to sole the entire heel and he didn't even touch it. The heels are the exact same as when I dropped them off. So I waited almost a month to not even get what I paid for.
