Buckle up. This business is closing. Based on the name of this business, I imagine it was owned originally by someone else. I had seen good reviews online so I decided to take two pairs of Yves Saint Laurent boots there to get re-soled. I took them there like the 21st. I was told to come back today the 26th in the afternoon... Well friends, I walked in there and the place looked like a bomb had gone off. Everything was in trash bags and there was a garbage hauler out front. They were going to close down the shop and take everybody's shoes So I told them I'm not leaving until you find my boots. One pair was found pretty quickly and she kept trying to get me to come back the next day and I said no, you won't be here. And I literally waited an hour until he found my second pair of boots . They were half fixed, and the craftsmanship was horrible. I'm gonna have to take them somewhere else to get fixed, but I'm just so grateful to have my shoes back because they are so expensive. On one hand, I feel really badly for these people because clearly they're on very hard times on the other hand, you can't do this. You can't just close your business and leave a bunch of people stranded . I feel sorry for everyone who's gonna lose belongings they care about. read more

I want to share with everybody my enthusiasm for this business. They do such an amazing job on shoes from leather to repairs to even cleaning suede! I have so far taken in two different types of expensive shoes and both times they have way exceeded my standards. Have I mentioned that I also have high standards? The lady and her husband who own this business are extremely friendly and their prices are extremely fair for what they do. Anybody who has shoes that need to be repaired or cleaned I honestly can't recommend a business that does a better job for shoe repair and trust me I've gone to a lot of places. I called the shop 4:30pm on a Saturday (30 minutes before closing). I spoke to Jennifer and told her my shoe needs to be repaired, because I will be wearing it to a party that night. She told me to bring my shoe and she will see what she can do. When I got to the shop 5 minutes later, she immediately worked on it. In less than 10 minutes she was able to fix the heel of my shoe. She even told me to bring it back if it gets broken again for free. Such a sweet and and very accommodating person. My silver shoe made it to the party, and really had fun! They're cheap, they're efficient...and they'll keep you stuff long after you forget it. I lost my ticket once and they couldn't locate my boots on my phone number & name. About a month later I found the ticket and thankfully it was still there. (I thought they would've hocked them since the place looks sort of scuzzy.) They've gotten dirt and random bar floor crap off of my suede boots, resurfaced heels and fixed a couple of buckles on some poor abused purses. They know their stuff and they do it at a bargain! read more

Following directions, I can back only to a sign that said close due to COVID-19. I understand the closure but why were customers not notified to pick their shoes up? Small family owned shoe repair shop. It is a bit run down - but they do the job well. Prices are fairly priced, even had my back pack strap sewn back on. Good place to get things fixed, but they do take a few days to get repaired. read more

An old Korean couple own and run this place. Don't bother with any of their products (shoe shine, shoe laces, shoes). But their repair is excellent. I had 2 dress shoes heels replaced and the leather treated. It cost about $25, but I was able to wear them for another year. I bought some ankle boots (a.k.a booties) about four months ago. I didn't immediately notice that the zipper on the right shoe had issues and by the time I did notice it, I had worn the boots a few times, so I couldn't return or exchange them anymore. Not only was I struggling to zip it up, it got worse because the pull tab would keep sliding down. Soon after that, the zipper body (tape) just straight up broke apart. I saw that teeth were missing. I was irritated because the shoes weren't exactly cheap and they were still fairly new. A Yelp search led me to this place and I decided to give them a try if 1) they could fix the problem and 2) the price was reasonable. The lady who helped me said it would cost $15. It was way cheaper than having to buy new boots that were already hard to find to begin with, so I left the shoe with her along with a $5 deposit (because that was the only cash I had in my wallet). After a week I came by to pick it up, but she could not find it! I had a quick, mini panic attack, then calmed down and described it to her. A few minutes later she eventually found it, but it had not been repaired yet. I don't know why, but I had a feeling that was going to happen. Anyway, she said it would take a minute, so I just waited. It took maybe two minutes tops and there was my shoe. I was happy to be reunited with it and even happier that it now has a functioning zipper. If I ever have a shoe problem again (I really hope not!), I will definitely come here. What a surprise from this little hole in the wall shoe repair place. My husband had some boots that had come apart at the souls and I'm embarrassed to admit he tried to glue them! I decided to surprise him and take them in to see if they could get fixed, since they were of sentimental value to him. This is not a very fancy place and a little petite woman greeted me. I asked if the boots could be salvaged and if it was worth it. She said they could and that they would have to be sewn back together. Hearing that I panicked and thought it would cost a lot. I was surprised when she stated it would cost $25 for both boots and would be done in a week. I agreed and to my surprise she did a terrific job on both boots and they were done exactly as she stated. I paid $34 to get 3.5 pairs of shoes fixed which is a very good deal considering I'm a shoe freak & didn't want to get rid of expensive heels just because I couldn't walk right in 'em. Not only did they replace the bottom of the heel pads (so it doesn't sound like you're wearing tap shoes), they fixed straps & polished the shoes so they looked almost brand new. They even glued some of the fabric back onto my wedge heels which showed they really put care into the work they do. When I came home & tried everything on, it was as though I bought 4 new pairs of shoes! Things to know: they only accept cash & it takes about a week for turnaround time. read more
