I've come here a number of times and each time has been a great result with Helen! It is always easy to schedule an appointment and she is very efficient. Easy in and out! One time she forgot about my appointment but hurried back from an errand she was on. She gave me a free tint for her mistake. The price also is extremely reasonable compared to every where else! It has gone up over the years since I started coming ($45 to now $60 for lift only), but even current prices continue to be much cheaper than everywhere else I have looked. However, the one thing to point out is I don't remember ever discussing what type of curl I want. You probably need to be more assertive and actively ask what type of curl she can do. Helen is the best! I get lash lifts from her for special occasions. She is very careful in every step of the way. She is so nice. Conversations with her is very soothing with her soft spoken voice! The place is calming and she plays instrumental music while I get pampered. The lash lift lasts a good four weeks where it still looks really nice. I have been coming here for years to get a lash lift. The lash lift + facial combo is my fav. I have super long lashes, but my lashes literally face downward. I have to heat my eyelash curler with a blow dryer to get them to curl up if, I don't have a last lift. The lift here lasts me a good 6+ weeks (vs about 3-4 weeks at other places I've been to). I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. read more

I love my nails ! Kim did them for me 2 weeks ago. She did exactly the same design that I show her or even better ! The owner of this spa is great. She has a wonderful personality and her services are quick and affordable. The down side is the REALLY loud nail artist who works in the front. Even in one of the back rooms with the door closed, you can hear her ENTIRE conversation. I am not sure what's hard about talking lower in a spa setting. I'm a long time customer, been seeing Helen exclusively for 7 years+ as my facial aesthetician. Skin care continues to be important to me and she still is the best for facials. Helen has always been incredibly kind and friendly to me and anyone else I refer. I'll never forget that she got me a cake for my birthday, which was so sweet of her! I usually get a signature facial and eye lash perm. It's such a relaxing experience whenever I go. She also does a wonderful neck, shoulder, and arm massage while the facial mask is setting. Periodically she's tried new treatments on me and I've also done microdermabrasion. Helen is very knowledgable and stays up to date with the latest and greatest in skincare and beauty. Lash Perming: Great deal and lasts quite a while - I'm saving so much more money now that I've switched from extensions. Facials: Super rejuvenating - my skin was so supple and glowy afterwards. I've been coming here for about 4 years for a lash perm and have nothing but good things to say. Helen is great at what she does. The procedure takes about 50min-1hr and Helen does all she can to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I was pregnant during one visit and she accommodated for that. Another time, a different lady did my lashes but all the same, the quality was just as good. Her spa is always clean and so relaxing. It's hard not to fall asleep with the ambience and music. I'm surprised at the negative reviews because I've been here probably about 15+ times and have never had an issue with the application or anything else. Maybe some people are just a bit more sensitive but that's no indication of the quality of her services. I'm forever a customer! read more

I really love getting my lashes lifted here. I have not found a better result or a better price anywhere. She is super gentle, fast, and nice. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I find the manicurist who works in the front area to be kind of rude and off-putting. Each time I walk in, it's never "hello" or "welcome" but rather she looks me up and down and says "do you have an appointment?" in a very stern voice. I'm not sure why she feels the need to not ever say hello, or why she always needs to look me up and down, but a smile would go a long way. You work in the front area, you are the first person that is generally seen when customers walk in, try being a bit more welcoming maybe. But aside from her, my repeated experiences here are great. read more

I've gone here a couple of times to get my lashes permed. I keep going back because it's close to me, the price is good, and the results tend to be good, but to be honest the experience is not the best. The owner does not have the lightest touch and doesn't respond well to any sort of criticism. When I've told her what she was doing was hurting me, her responses were "relax" "no I'm not poking you." Look lady, it's my eyes, I can feel it whether you think you're poking me or not. Now after this last time, the corner of my eyes is slightly swollen and still hurts when anything touches it (exactly where I was telling her it was hurting and she argued with me about it.) I don't know about you, but when someone is putting chemicals on my face and near my eyes, I want them to be heavily concern with my comfort. It does not seem to be the case here! I've had my lashes permed elsewhere (much farther from me and more expensive) and had a totally different experience. I think the chemicals she uses here are a bit harsh - they smell and burn on my skin, while it never did at the other place. On another one of my visits I've also heard her chastise a customer because a friend of the customer who had come in was unhappy with her experience and the owner blamed it on the friend rather than take responsibility for it. That felt so unprofessional to me. As good as the price and results are, I think I'll be looking for a new place to get my lashes permed. Next time it might not be just the corner of my eye that is hurt. read more
