Without question, Dr. Becca Klobuchar is the most intuitive and well-trained veterinarian I've ever…read moreknown. She has been working with our nearly 14-year-old large-breed dog for the last three years. From our first intake/consultation and acupuncture appointment, Dr Becca has guided us on an incredible learning journey around the best approaches to support our dog's health. She has consulted on his diet and supplements, which, in and of itself, has made a transformative difference in our dog's general health and arthritis. She performs regular acupuncture appointments (she keeps a very organized and well-communicated schedule) where she's constantly talking through Max's health and considering any adjustments that would benefit him, while always honoring our approach. Max knows when Dr. Becca is en route and excitedly awaits her arrival; we know he feels amazing as a result. The fact that he still can hike 2mi/day on the trails is testimony to how well she's helped to preserve his joint function. Most critically, she actually saved our dogs life this week. He was preliminary diagnosed with a brain tumor and while we were told to arrange end-of-life care, she advocated fiercely for the possibility that Max had an infection and gave us a clear discussion guide to use with his regular vet to receive the right care. In this capacity, Dr. Becca "stays in her lane" but is always a text away, as if your pet is her pet. I've never known a veterinary professional to be this deeply compassionate, nor to possess such an encyclopedic breadth of knowledge around veterinary science while knowing precisely when to apply it and how to educate her human clients in the process. Our sweet Max would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Becca. You can be absolutely certain that every penny you invest with ZenPet will have direct returns on your pet's vitality and longevity as well as your own education as a pet parent. Finally, it bears mentioning -- Dr. Becca is great with people too. She is an absolute joy to be around. I'm eternally grateful for and in awe of the work she does; it is truly her calling.

Every time my dog is very excited and happy to get the treatments and she ends up always being so relaxed! It has helped her arthritis and her ability to walk and get around so much! Dr. Becca has also recommended supplements that have really helped my dog too! I am so thankful I found Zen Pet and Dr. Becca! I definitely recommend her to anyone with pets! What I didn't know was how this service can help his allergies as well (coughing, sneezing, panting). My dog warmed up to Dr. Desi immediately and she took her time explaining everything she was doing throughout her assessment and adjustment. She also helped guide me on how to properly trim and file his nails (to be honest I was terrified to do them myself and would rely on the vet or groomer to do them for us). What a difference one adjustment made! After YEARS of allergies, his coughing and sneezing has decreased dramatically over the course of a week (and after only one adjustment). He is also running and playing like he is a puppy again! I haven't seen him this energetic in a long time. I was honestly a little skeptical of this therapy when my vet recommended it to me. After seeing the results first hand, I am a firm believer that canine chiropractic care (in the hands of an experienced doctor) can make a world of difference in the lives of our four-legged family members and I specifically recommend Dr. Desi. My only regret is not calling her sooner :)

They started a couple years ago and have gotten worse and worse, then were exacerbated from a slip/fall on the ice a few weeks ago. After a trip to the emergency room and my normal vet the response was you'll be lucky if he's around a lot longer. His back legs were sinking when he stood, he had trouble doing stairs, he couldn't walk fast (let alone run) and I hadn't seen a smile on his face for a long time. One treatment with Dr Desi and his back legs have stopped sinking. He's smiling again and while we aren't back to running, he can definitely hop to it if we need to pick up the pace. Stairs...no problem. I wish I'd found her sooner. I'd spent a lot of money on other treatments that hadn't worked. She's the real deal AND she comes to YOU!

We gave it time to heal but he was not getting better. We took him to the vet and they wanted to do X-rays on one shoulder and it would cost $878. They also said that his pain is common in Golden's and because he's large it's early on set hip dysplasia . He's only 4! But we knew nothing was broken because the limp would come and go. We knew the X-rays wouldn't tell us anything. But we could also tell that he was depressed. He was not his happy go-lucky self. He no longer jumped up to see us and got up and down very slowly. He even cried at the bottom of stairs to avoid using them. Finally fed up with our vet not taking his pain seriously, we called Dr. Erin. Before she even saw him she was asking me questions over the phone and getting an understanding of his history and what had happened. Questions our vet never asked. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it! In ONE SESSION our dog was back! He was our happy, tail wagging, cuddle buddy again! Even people that didn't know we had an appointment with Dr. Erin noticed an immediate difference! I recommend her 1000%! 10 stars if I could!

From the registration clerk to the vet tech to the DVM, everyone has been consistently amazing during each visit. Unfortunately, our last trip to CPH brought devastating news for our family - our beloved six year old Catahoula mix Jackson has a mast cell tumor that was concerning for metastasis to his spleen. We saw Dr. Griffin and she was caring, kind and absolutely wonderful with our boy. She communicated her concerns to us after his initial exam and educated us about what tests she would like to perform and why. Once Dr. Griffin made the diagnosis, she shared the news with us in a genuinely compassionate and empathetic manner. She was honest, but kind about her concerns that because his spleen was enlarged on X-ray the cancer may have traveled there too. She suggested that the best way to have Jackson seen by oncology as quickly as possible to determine the scale of his disease would be to go to another emergency vet hospital that evening. CPH does not have any oncologist vets on staff, so Dr. Griffin gave us the name of another local ER that does. She told us that if we took Jackson to this other emergency vet that they would likely admit him to their hospital for the night and have him seen by their oncology department first thing in the morning. She sent us with slides from his fine needle aspiration, as well as copies of the X-rays and lab work. Dr. Griffin took her time with us and Jackson and answered all of our questions clearly and completely. She then called us several days later to ask how Jackson was doing, how we were doing and offered the opportunity to ask any questions we might have. The tech whose name I have shamefully forgotten was also wonderful with my beautiful baby. She was so patient and so kind to him that it helped calm and reassure me during such a terribly difficult time. If I ever have further need of emergency services for any of my pets, I won't have to think twice of where to go.

The cardiologist told me with with meds, we could get a year to a year and a half with her, well we got to love her for an additional 15 months. But then the meds stopped working and she was suffering. I called around but not only was the pricing off the charts, I would have had to wait a few days, I don't think she had a few days. Then I called Community Pet Hospital, they said we could come any time, just to give them 30 minutes to prepare! I set a time, but when it got close, I panicked, called and rescheduled.... they were kind and understanding about it.... well I calmed down a couple of hours later, so called again and rescheduled. And you know what, they said "that is fine, we understand". We got there, with my girl dog, Frankie Lynn, they took us to a room they had set up, just for us, with the plaque in the photo. There was calming music playing, soft lights and just a very calming atmosphere. They gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes (and a new box of tissues) then they came in sedated her and it was over. I felt such a feeling of peace and calmness. Far cry from the wreck I was earlier. We chose to take her remains with us so they provided a nice carrier and let us out a back door. AMAZING! I would HIGHLY recommend Community Pet Hospital for your veterinary needs, in fact, I am going to change my vet to them!

Based on her bloodwork, her liver enzymes were heavily elevated. We had her there for about 2 days then got her because we were waiting on lab results and we knew we wanted her at home after a few days. Although it was a pricey visit. She was well taken care of. We still don't know why she didn't want to eat or anything not by the fault of the hospital or anything. Our dog is just a mystery. We had a follow up and liver enzymes had decreased which was a good sign. Our dog is still with us but not sure for how much longer since she is a senior dog who still refuses to eat her kidney food.
