Erick came out for an appointment, was kind and knowledgable. Was not able to fix the problem, referred me to a specialist who diagnosed the situation and said I should work with A+ plumbing - which I was happy to do. Called on a Wednesday morning and was lucky enough to speak with Jenny, Edgar and Erick. They knew it was a running leak, so handling it ASAP was important. I asked for a estimate for the price and was told I would get a response by the end of day. Did not hear back from them so followed up on Thursday, again on Friday, again on Saturday, again on Sunday. It is Monday, I just called and spoke to Jenny. She did not take responsibility and did not apologize for anything. It was as if it was my fault for following up. She said with an attitude, "DO YOU WANT ME TO JUMP 10 FEET HIGH JUST BECAUSE YOU ASK ME TO." I said No, I just want the estimate that you said you were going to send 5 days ago. Needed a small leak repaired in our new home, so we called our home warranty company, who directed us to A+. It's been close to 20 years since we've used any home warranty-endorsed companies and didn't always have the best experiences, so we were a bit wary. Either things have changed or we just got extremely lucky! A+ is an excellent company! Jenny was incredibly communicative in scheduling our appointment, complete with text reminders. On the day of, we received a text letting us know that Erick was on the way; the text included a link that had a short little bio and showed us where Erick was coming from. It didn't really update the map, as it was supposed to allow us to watch his journey; totally not a big deal. Erick was very nice, wore his mask the whole time, replaced one of the valves under our sink, and was on his way very shortly. Unfortunately, there was still a small leak. When I called Jenny the next day (as it was after 5pm), she was very apologetic and scheduled someone for the following day. We received the same text letting us know that Edgar was on his way. Edgar brought Erick with him and fixed our leak in no time! Again, polite, masked, etc. While I hope to never need to contact them again, if I need any plumbing or rootering, I will call A+! read more

A+ was sent through Choice Home Warranty (avoid Choice - check on FaceBook and see many bad experiences) The claim - broken shower diverter- repairman reported normal wear and tear caused broken part- was to get the part and return - didn't hear anything until I called and found the claim had been denied- Choice said it wasn't normal use (a 20+ year old part might really fail!) - after wasting much time, I got Choice to at least cover part of it - but did not hear from A+ despite the fact that I called several times and told them that I would pay for the repair whatever Choice did. I even got an email scheduling a return visit and no one showed up - A+ seemed not to know about it - I do not know if they missed it or didn't coordinate with Choice - in any case it was now almost 4 weeks after the first request. The fact of the matter is that it was extremely difficult to reach A+ and get a firm committment. The last contact was that A+ would call back - which didn't happen. Maybe they don't have sufficient office staff but customers should not have to make multiple tries to contact them. I finally gave up and called another plumber, who came, looked at it, came back the next day and fixed it. I can't tell whether A+ is good at plumbing but it was certainly not easy to deal with. As a result I cannot give them a good rating. read more

Well I didn't even know what a "slab leak" was until it showed up at my house. A+ was actually the 2nd company to inspect my house and i'm so glad it worked out that way. Edgar did an awesome job in locating the leak, covering up the whole kitchen area to contain the dust and completing the job in a timely matter, even when the concrete was extra thick! He is very easy to talk to and explains exactly what is going on with the issue(s). Gabby was great to communicate with since she was very responsive and courteous. My home warranty sent my order to A+ plumbing, which really should be F- plumbing. I received a call this morning to schedule but immediately when I answered the female receptionist put me on a very long hold just to come back on the phone to tell me she needs to call me back. I received a call about 45min later scheduling an appointment at their convenience (not mine). I requested to leave work early to make appointment. Over an hour later the RUDE Unprofessional receptionist who is very green and uneducated called me back to let me know they can't make that appointment which was originally inconvenient for me but needs to schedule for another day. I accepted the new appointment date and time again going to have to leave work early and just asked that they do not reschedule this again. The receptionist must have taken offense to my request and very rudely let me know she was doing me the favor. Me the favor? How are you doing me a favor when you're getting paid to come to my house at your convenience but I lose the money on leaving work early. AHS sent Edgar and another guy today to replace the valve underneath, and spout, inside my sink in the bathroom. It has been leaking for days, and shutting off the valve did not stop it! I rent from a private landlord, and stuff is always breaking in my town home. Jenny called to book appointments, and is sweet. The guys did a great job in about an hour or so. Eric stated he would have to order an additional part. I contacted A Plus a week later for a status update. I was advised Eric would be out the following week. I wasn't able to contact A Plus until 1/10/22 due to family's health issues. Jenny, manager & owner of business very unprofessional, yelling over phone. The charge was $182.50. This is the best plumbing company I have ever used. I had a major water leak in my kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. I obviously had to shut off the water. The company sent out a wonderful Leak detector company as well as fixing the leak. They found the leak and Edgar, THE BEST, did an incredible job fixing it. He went through my walls and ceiling and put a new pipe in. When they were done, there was literally no dust in my kitchen or bedroom.. You would think that's impossible but not so with the way they sealed everything off with very expensive heavy duty plastic. They only sealed off part of my kitchen so I had use of the kitchen. They used metal posts and wrapped the plastic around the posts. I have never seen that done before. I am sure it was quite expensive for the materials. They worked long hours to get it done quickly so We would have use of our water again. Their prices were very, very reasonable. Plus, their attitude was amazing. The nicest and compassionate people. I can't say enough about this company and I had major problems. I would never use any other company. read more
