We had a problem with the water heater at our office. Since we do emergency services we have showers for the guys who respond to emergencies. Best Quality Plumbing was recommended to me by family who were happy with the job they did for them earlier this year. We needed a similar service, our sewer pipes were old cast iron from the 1950s and needed to be replaced. Best Quality Plumbing was quick to respond and came out to provide an estimate. They determined that my sewage pipes did indeed need to be replaced and we needed two new clean-outs installed. They were able to start work the same day and finished mid-afternoon the next day. The plumbing works great. My issue is two-fold. The lesser issue is that when they pulled out the old clean-out they left the old parts in my yard when they left. The bigger issue is that when they replaced the existing clean out, they broke the plaster around it leaving a hole in the side of my house. Now I get to spend more money on a handyman to come repair this damage. They did not disclose to us that this damage was a possibility. If they had, we would not have had that existing clean-out replaced. read more

When Junior showed up he also tried but told me the toilet has to come out, told me he'd try his best not to break the toilet so I wouldn't have to buy a new one, and that is what he did. My company called Sergio for a clogged problem a few years back. We quoted 3 companies. They are the one with the most reasonable price and came on time. Later on we had other problems with the toilet flushes and toilets , he and his co-workers came the same day and replaced quickly. Though there's leaks, they came to fix the next day till there's no more problem. The most impressive experience with them was in a cold and windy night, we had an emergency call for the back float valve broke, and they fixed right away. I hired Sergio for my home project because of the good experience. He is always on time and does work professionally. He shows me problems and gives me options. I quoted other plumbers too, so I know his price is fair and reasonable. Tuesday night my wife noticed water had soaked the wooden base under our water heater in the garage. We could see water trails going down the side of the tank but it didn't seem like water was actively flowing. Having experiencing a flood from our last water heater 18 years ago, I figured it would not be a good idea to wait, and started calling around the next morning. One person I spoke to with very good Yelp reviews told me how old the water heater was (from the serial number) and that I was right not to wait to replace it. He wouldn't be able to get to me for a couple of days, though. He also told me to expect to pay $1300-$1500 to have it done (!). I saw Best Quality's listing in Yelp along with a few others, including the company I'd used last time. I phoned two others and hit the "Get Quote" button for Best Quality. Sergio got back to me within about 15 minutes, and after asking me a few questions via the Yelp messaging system, quoted me $1050 to replace the heater with another 40 gallon tank but a Bradford instead of the Rheem I had - I'd read somewhere that Bradford was considered to be better. He offered to come over at noon, a little more than 90 minutes from then. No one else seemed willing to quote me on the phone. Sergio and his assistant came over as promised, with the new water heater, and also immediately spotted a leak from the release valve on our water regulator out front. We'd had issues with water pressure before (as most of my neighbors also had - his gauge showed 150psi vs the 50-60 it should have been) and in fact this regulator was the 3rd one in the 32 years I've lived in the house. He quoted me another $350 to replace it, which was also very reasonable, and in about two hours every thing was done and working perfectly. I recommend you call Sergio for your issues. Dealing with him was a pleasure. I'l definitely be calling him again for my plumbing needs. read more

Sergio showed up within 1/2 hr of calling him for an estimate that was way better than the previous estimated I received. He and his crew showed up on time, put paper down on all the work areas. I had the house, and garage repiped with copper and a new water heater put in. Had Royer come to the home as a result of a supply line leak under our master bathroom vanity. He claimed that it was the angle stop and I disagreed with him, as my husband and I knew it wasn't, we have done tons of plumbing repairs ourselves, but because of the recent loss of his mother we decided just to have somebody do it for us. I said "OK, you're the expert." So he replaced both angle stops and several days later when I went into the bathroom I heard a hissing noise and looked underneath the vanity and lo and behold the hot water supply line was spraying water everywhere. I called him back and he came and replaced both supply lines and I told him I will not pay for this repair as I had told him initially what the problem was. I also asked him to bring a carpet cleaner as the whole bathroom carpeting had flooded into the bedroom and into the wall behind the vanity. He disagreed that it was the supply line and said he had taken a video to prove it. When I asked him to show me the video he said "Oh, I already sent it to my boss." How convenient! In addition, he claimed that the pressure was set too high on the house so he got more money out of us, $400, which is ridiculous, to replace the pressure valve in the front of the house. While doing so, he broke off the on/off handle lower down on the pipe and never told us, resulting in us not being able to water any of the front yard plants. He just wanted to get out of Dodge and not fix the problems nor take responsibility. Several times we tried to contact Sergio, but nobody would return our phone calls. We are just now starting on the repairs with the contractor that we had to hire as a result of all the damage. We had to file a claim with the insurance company which has resulted in over $20,000 worth of damage including Abatement because of the water damage and asbestos removal because of the age of the home. The bathroom had to be gutted and all the plaster removed from the base of the walls that were affected by the water damage.
