I was referred to Kevin by a salon owner (karrma salon) a while back before I needed to look for a mechanic. Fast forward 6 mos later, I needed to get clutch replaced on our Jeep Wrangler. I got quote from 5 places for clutch replacement not knowing if that was the absolute issue. After telling my dad it was a part that needed to be changed and him paying to get it changed, the same problem happened again with his car. So he took it back and they fixed something else for another 350 bucks... Seems like this problem should have been diagnosed originally. He spent over 600 on a part that should have only coated 350... This trumps my original post. This place is under new management. Kevin used to be the owner he is gone now. Barry is a prick, very unprofessional. First off told me to bring my car in one specific day but did not give an exact time. When I brought it in it took them until after hours for to finish the job and even then it wasn't completely done. Took my car back today by APPOINTMENT 03/15/2022 1:00pm to get my windshield wipers fixed and my dash cam installed. Someone calls me 10 min to 4pm saying it's done, I inquired about the dash cam- they forgot. Said they'd call me back and let me know if it could be done or not. Took them an hour to get back to me just to tell me they couldn't do it. I arrive and inquire further as to why exactly it took them an hour just to tell me they couldn't install a dash cam. Barry was extremely rude, under his breath as I walked out the door, "I'm not going to argue with you". I was asking a simple question, obviously a little miffed but I was not by any means trying to argue. They get one star for the work completed. Worst place I've ever been. My car took way way way longer to fix than they said and was still broken. Had to take it back 2x. Never ever got a statement saying what was done to "fix" my car. When I complained to the owner I was told he could tell me to leave if he wanted and he claimed I "probably already bad mouthed him to people" so guess what now I will. And now a year later same thing he "fixed" is broken again. If I could give him no stars I would. And the kid who worked on the car didn't replace a part I was told he did and he smelled of pot. Horrible place!! Update: now 2 yrs have gone by and it needs the transmission replaced again. This is complete crap! Seriously stay away from these guys! I don't even drive far every day. read more

GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!! I was told that the two issues for which I brought them my car had been identified and would be properly repaired. They identified another problem that they said could be fixed in 3 months. When I picked up my car the air conditioning worked but it drove the same and hadn't been fixed. Their response is that it's the third problem (that could "wait") causing the issue. Not sure for what I paid an extra $400.00, but the problem they said would be fixed was now something else. She was so polite and knowledgeable. She gave me such a great deal that was literally 60% cheaper than the dealerships price. They accommodated in every way possible, staying over an hour passed closing time just so they could finish my car and I could drive home happy. AND they have financing! Which helped me out a lot because I was strapped for cash. The technicians did an amazing job and finished the job fast, replacing 3 major parts in my engine amongst a few minor ones too. I have been going to these guys for over a year. They are now my permanent go to for my vehicles!! Their prices are affordable but their work speaks for itself! I always had an issue with my old small car usually once/twice every year and I used to always go have it looked at by one of the chain auto shops and their prices were always ridiculous! This became very costly very quick for my budget! I got fed up and decided to try this place the next time my car acted up. Michelle, is an absolute gem!!!! Not only did they work on my vehicle, the price was only a third of used to pay at the other place and on top that, since that first encounter over a year ago, never had that problem with my vehicle again. It actually surpassed the dates of when my vehicle would usually start to "act up." The place I used to go to would just tell me that it would keep happening because it was an older model. I have since been continuing to go here for my other vehicle as well and I am never disappointed. I don't have much of a budget and I try to keep my head above water so Michelle has always tried to work with me regarding payments. I hope they know that their efforts are very much appreciated!! I got 3 estimates for my car and this was by far the best price. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. I did have to wait a little longer than they said but it still wasn't as long as the other estimates. I also did have to bring it back in for a small fix afterwards but they were apologetic and friendly and did not charge extra. I'd definitely bring my car back to them! read more

Kevin is a great mechanic.. his staff sucks. They give an estimate that sounds ok but raise the price when you pick it up. Charged me for a missing oil filler cap when we both know it was on there when they got the car. Car was also damaged when on the lot. It was fixed but it should never have happened. read more

I wish I had found this place sooner. I've been to a lot of places in the east valley over the years and been consistently disappointed and/or ripped off. A+ has bent over backward in providing excellent service and still manages to have the best prices. I am relocating soon and wish I could take them with me, but I will be coming back often and am considering bringing my car in from out of state for maintenance/repair. Seriously, I'm a woman, this place is great! No intimidation, no pressure to sell me anything I don't need....I'm coming back to them for everything. I met the owner, kindest man I have ever met in the auto repair world! Not sure how or why anyone could have a bad experience, he's over the top in customer service. Watched him interact with all customer while waiting for my car to be repaired and he took the time to explain to each person there what was going on and what needed to be done to repair their car. They stayed past 5 to finish my car and ensure it was repaired right before the owner would let me leave. I live in Gilbert, but well worth the drive here! A+ for sure! read more
