If I could give zero stars I would. I took a vehicle there told his mechanic to start from the beginning. He said ok. He did not do that rather changed a compressor and didn't look for a leak. I thought I was saving money I did not. If you show up to a mechanic lot with no cars there is a reason. If the mechanic says he has to do side jobs there is a reason. Stay clear. read more

Caution Poor Quality Service!!! I previously had my oil changed at Wes's Auto and decided to have my son do the change because of the major price increase. When my son removed the oil plug it wasn't tightened well and there wasn't any oil plug gasket on the plug so the oil had been leaking very slowly and was caking around the plug area. Really what good mechanic would do this! The next issue was the mechanic tightened the oil filter housing so tight that my son couldn't release it with the oil filter wrench. My son is very strong and has changed his oil and done other mechanical things. He tried many time but couldn't get the oil filter housing to loosen with the oil filter wrench. We finally had to just leave the old oil filter on the vehicle and add the new oil for the old oil had been already drained. That is the order of changing the oil. Now I had new oil and a dirty oil filter on the vehicle. The instructions online say to tighten the filter housing to 25# of torque and that is just a slight bit tighter than hand tightening the filter housing. I am sure a power tool was used to tighten the filter housing and now I will have to have another service station with power tools remove it on the next change. I don't know what the mechanic was doing but he sure wasn't careful with my vehicle. Sloppy work sure isn't quality work so beware if you choose them to do your mechanical work! read more

Wes & his crew have taken excellent care of my 2005 Lincoln aviator. No overcharging and they are much less than many shops. I first took my car there to recharge my AC and a minor repair. Another shop wanted $600+ but Wes just charged me around $200. He keeps my old car running in top shape. I'm very grateful for that! read more

I drive old and cars and I try to be careful about who works on them. Wes and his team do excellent work and always treat me fairly. It's not often that you'll find a mechanic that will tell you that a repair can wait; Wes is that guy. Great family owned place. I'm a certified mechanic with only 15 years in the field, I had the technical ability to fix my vehicle but was in town without tools so I brought my ford to Wes's for his diagnostic tools that were required to diagnose my issues. The technician knew nothing about my background and spoke to me clearly and with honesty. I appreciate the way they treat customers. They didn't attempt to sell me on anything I didn't need and when I told them I could replace the sensor on my own they were happy to let me go on my own... Expect nice people here. read more

To say I would not recommend them to anyone is an understatement. They did over $4000.00 in repair work on my Nissan and never fixed it. A friend of the family found the issue they never could with my AC. And it was just a $300.00 part. They will and do take advantage of people. So be warned and get a second option before letting them do any work on your car. read more

Wes's Auto will be 100% honest with you! If you have to make a costly repair - at least you can know it's necessary and you aren't being cheated! Wes has even told us what can wait and what needs to be taken care of now. We took our Suburban in expecting to need a new rear A/C. He found a loose screw - fixed it - and that A/C lasted for the life of the vehicle! I would have paid for a new one, not knowing it was just a loose screw getting caught! I have been going to Wes's Auto for many years and have always been pleased with the service. It all started about a year ago, the summer of 2011. I had been going to Wes for a very long time and I noticed that the quality of work had been falling short of what I expected from them. But I took my car there because I had known Wes for a long time. My AZ would not stay engaged when it got hot outside. So I took it in to get it looked at. I was told my AC compressor was bad and was kicking off once it got hot. So I had the compressor replaced. When I picked up my car I was told it all worked fine. I made it 200 Ft out of the parking lot when it started again. I took my car back and they said the resister had burned out because of the old compressor. At that point I asked if I could see the old compressor, they were not able to produce the old unit, and said it had bad bearings in it and had to be replaced. I was upset but said ok. I had to wait till the next day to get the new resister because it had to be ordered. So the next day I went back to get the new resister put in. Left the lot and no more than 20 mins later the same thing started happening again. I took the car back again. They kept it over night and the next day I was told it was a command module that was bad. I made sure this was the last thing before accepting to put it in. They ordered it and had it installed. But it was defective. They had to wire the cooling fan to stay on at all times for it to work. They had a new one ordered but it was going to take 2 days to come in. In that 2 days the AC worked fine. Once the new part came in it was installed. I asked again if the command module fixed the problem why was the compressor replaced? Once again I was told the bearings in it. Upset but happy my AC worked I left. Just 4 weeks ago I heard what sounded like a piece of paper in my AC fan in the cabin of my car. Thinking this was a small thing I figured I would give Wes a second chance; I took the car in and said, "it sounds like a piece of paper in the fan inside the car". They took and replaced the blower motor and resister. When I asked why they said the bearings were bad and that was causing the buzzing. I picked up my car at 5:57PM on a Friday. I pulled off the lot and took the car home. Later that night I took my son to the store. It was not as hot, so I turned the air to setting 2. It did not work, I was mad at this time. So I set it to 1 and with my radio on I could still hear the same noise. So Monday came and I called Wes but they were closed for the week. So I had to wait till next Monday. On Monday I had to take my son to the ER, so I was unable to call them. My son was admitted to the hospital and had brain surgery on Wednesday. We did not get home till late Friday. The whole next week I was more worried about my son then my car. So I waited a week to call about the car. I called on Monday the 30th and was told to bring my car in on the 2nd of August. I took my car in and I was called and told it was fixed. When I asked what they found I was told that a piece of paper was sucked in to the intake. And someone hit the dashboard of the car and loosened a wire on the resister. This made me really mad. I was right the whole time, and for some reason they replaced the blower motor and resister. When I went in and confronted Wes about this and told him I was mad about what had happened, he got very aggressive and said I put my foot up and under the dash and pushed out a wire. When I asked why the motor was replaced he said, "There was a loose bearing in the motor." I replied with, "just like last year you replaced a part that did not need to be replaced." He then said. "Last year each time it was a different issue." But it wasn't it was all the same thing, He just does not listen to the customer and when confronted he gets mad at you for the mistakes his shop makes. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor, save some time and find a different auto shop. read more
