He paid 200 for the installation, which was improperly done and the brakes that were installed were not the original purchased and brought in. they installed different brakes than the ones that we had brought in that they agreed to install that were cheaper in flimsy and now my fiancé's car is damaged as a result. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and a police report for the robbed brakes over at Saugus police station. I don't recommend using these people. Dont waste ur money on this business which no ethics.

I came to the shop for alignment, an exhaust quote, and maybe smoothing the front rotors. Came out with half an alignment, an exhaust quote, new brake fluid, and other brake work to save up for. The Good: Very friendly, approachable sales and mechanical staff. Lots of show cars and happy customers on display. Reasonable with cost of work and parts. Called me back like they said they would. Clean shop, looks comforting. They did find a brake fluid leak I missed, and didn't give me a hard time about doing that work myself. The Meh: I paid for 4w alignment only to find they just adjusted the front/rear toe. No other shop had trouble with front camber, but this one said it "can't be adjusted on this car". No call to say that, and evasive about whether they tried and lost to rust -- or if they just didn't know it was adjustable. But that's what I paid them for... I guess they also inspected my air filter, because I found it wasn't closed all the way. A sudden extra roaring sound when I left should have been hard to miss. Verdict: My car is 18 years old, and though it looks its age I love it. But I hoped for more than I got from this shop.

Chris C., my service advisor, was excellent -- professional, communicative, and friendly from start to finish. The team provided a spotless MDX loaner and had all the recall work done quickly and efficiently. It's rare to find a dealership that delivers this level of service and attention to detail. First off I live in Hillsborough NH so getting to this dealership at least a 75 min drive each…read moreway. Getting the car fixed right the first time is important. For Christmas I got my wife an automatic car starter. Instead of taking the Acura to a Best Buy and have some "high school kid" screw up the job. I decided to pay a premium price and have the dealership do it. I could have saved myself $500 and the trip time if I had let BB fix do the job. Two trips and basically the auto starter works about the only time when you are actually sitting in the vehicle. The sales people said it should start at least from 50 feet. Yeah right! Not only that if it does work it shuts off after about 10 mins. So it is zero outside and 10 mins doesn't even defrost your windshield. That means if you are lucky enough to get it to work again you have to remember or in 5 mins you are back to a frozen ice cube! Also it is difficult to know if the car is actually running or not. The daytime running lights do not activate. Second reason why I love Sunnyside so!. The car air conditioner was not working properly. I took the car to the local Auto repair shop and they indicated after draining the coolant that they could not recharge the system with refrigerant. It apparently needed to be done by a certified Acura dealer. So down to Sunnyside we go. They gave us a loaner and told us not to drive it much. They could not fix the problem and had no idea what to do. So day after day this went on. Finally after getting annoyed with them on a couple of occasions I told them I wanted the car back and we would make other arrangements. This was approximately 10 days after we brought it in. I would be down later that afternoon to return the loaner and pick up our unrepaired car. Not more than 20 mins later the dealership called my wife and said the car was fixed! $800 later we drove off. I cannot recommend this dealership.

Moving to East Boston, I had no idea where to bring my car and was concerned I would get…read moreovercharged for repairs. Friends of mine who are from Winthrop suggested that I go to Expert Auto, so I tried them out when I needed a state inspection and again when I needed a tire replaced. They have been fair with pricing, (like I was actually shocked that I didn't have to haggle or question the price they were giving me) and have been great at communicating what my car needs. When I have brought it in to see what is causing an issue, they repair what is necessary and don't go overboard just trying to make more money. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when speaking to them on the phone. I have been dropping my car off with a key outside of business hours and picking it up after hours since I work M-F 9-5. I always receive a call with updates and a price estimate the next day and can usually pick up my car the day after that. I trust Expert Auto to do a great job with repairs, at a reasonable price and will continue to use them as my mechanic and suggest them to friends in the area!
