First off I live in Hillsborough NH so getting to this dealership at least a 75 min drive each way. Getting the car fixed right the first time is important. For Christmas I got my wife an automatic car starter. Instead of taking the Acura to a Best Buy and have some "high school kid" screw up the job. I decided to pay a premium price and have the dealership do it. I could have saved myself $500 and the trip time if I had let BB fix do the job. Two trips and basically the auto starter works about the only time when you are actually sitting in the vehicle. The sales people said it should start at least from 50 feet. Yeah right! Not only that if it does work it shuts off after about 10 mins. So it is zero outside and 10 mins doesn't even defrost your windshield. That means if you are lucky enough to get it to work again you have to remember or in 5 mins you are back to a frozen ice cube! Also it is difficult to know if the car is actually running or not. The daytime running lights do not activate. Second reason why I love Sunnyside so!. The car air conditioner was not working properly. I took the car to the local Auto repair shop and they indicated after draining the coolant that they could not recharge the system with refrigerant. It apparently needed to be done by a certified Acura dealer. So down to Sunnyside we go. They gave us a loaner and told us not to drive it much. They could not fix the problem and had no idea what to do. So day after day this went on. Finally after getting annoyed with them on a couple of occasions I told them I wanted the car back and we would make other arrangements. This was approximately 10 days after we brought it in. I would be down later that afternoon to return the loaner and pick up our unrepaired car. Not more than 20 mins later the dealership called my wife and said the car was fixed! $800 later we drove off. I cannot recommend this dealership. read more

I will start off with saying, DO NOT GO TO SUNNY SIDE ACURA, the service here is terrible, they lie about the final balance, they lie about certain things done to the car and to top it off, their customer service skills is the worst I've ever seen! A while ago, brought my car in for service, they recommended tire rotation, I agreed, guess what? They never did it and never removed it from my bill.(mark your tires and you'll see what I mean) Today, I made the mistake of going back, and of course, another issue. HUGE discrepancy on my bill. Asked for a "manager".....he's was no help and actuallly tried to just talk down to me and bring down my morale. I ended up having to pay $221 extra because they'd made an "error". I purchased a car from Alex at Sunnyside Acura and from the very beginning they were dishonest. Since purchasing my vehicle I have been in touch with Sunnyside multiple times and each time they've continued the lies and deceit. I've been in touch with Acura on a corporate level many times as well to inquire about " Acuras highest honor " ( look at previous reviews ) Apparently it's an award they give out annually. It's very confusing because according to Acura they have a " hands off approach" when it comes to the dealerships and they can only suggest that they do the right thing. They have no authority to force it. My question is in regards to the awards issues by Acura on a corporate level. If they have a hands off approach then how is it possible to hand out awards? In the tough and low inventory market, I made the trip out to Nashua from Boston to get a new Acura and worked with Alex Gad - and very glad I did. Checking out other dealerships like Boston Acura was a horrible experience with crazy jacked up prices and I would recommend others to skip it and go to Nashua. This was my 4th lease, and by far the easiest process I've gone through. I was able to swap out the car the same day, got a fantastic deal, and was able to drive off the lot in the new car. I came in on the later side, but the whole team stayed there extra late past close to help accommodate me, so I wouldn't have to drive back the next time. I had the worst waste of time experience ever. From the other reviews it's true, ever since they fixed the service center it's been downhill. Called up because I had a warranty letter for my car. They said okay bring up the car so I booked for 11 but when I arrived they didn't even have anything printed out. They read the warranty to me saying my car's not covered even though I received a letter? Okay so why tell me why you just made me waste a whole hour driving back and forth for no reason. The warranty states 2007 and up or 100k miles for ADS system, which ever comes first. My MDX is a 2007 and only has 90K on it. They said it's out of warranty because I bought it in 11/2006. How does that make any sense? A 2007 mdx is a 2007 mdx no matter what year you buy it. So basically they are telling me they won't replace it because I decided to be the first one to buy a 2007 mdx in 2006? Don't waste your time with this place, you'll regret it. read more

Was told that certain fees were going to be taken care of since we were leasing a new RDX. We got a bill in the mail from the one we turned in that we still owed money on. Alexandra, the "Finance Manager" told us that they were taking care of what was owed and we did not have to worry about it. She mislead up to believe that we were all set. Our mistake was that we should have gotten it in writing. You can tell she has very little experience as a manager. We wont be back here again to do business. I was looking forward to getting a used truck on the lot there, but not now. It's a shame because the salesperson we had was a pleasure to work with. Further more, when we did turn the 2018 we had for the new one we had just made the final payment a day earlier. We also had to make the first payment on the new one. So two car payments in 1 day. They wouldn't at least take care of our first payment since we just made the last payment on her 2018. Technically, we were still entitled to the 2018 until the end of December. We will recommend to our friends and colleagues to not do business here. In the end though. The new 2021 RDX is pretty sweet. I recommend going to Peabody Acura in Mass. read more

Bought our 2006 Acura TSX here in ... 2006. The experience with the salesperson should have caused me to walk out and find a different dealership/car. Fortunately, the car itself has been excellent, so we haven't had to deal with the dealership much. We've found a much better TSX mechanic in Concord, so for the last several years we only bring the car here for recalls, which thankfully there aren't that many of. I've laughed all the way out of the store after being offered a mere $6000 below blue-book value for a cash offer they initiated. It was during the recession, but that seems really old-school "used car salesman" opportunistic if you ask me. I understand the business impetus behind offering below blue-book value. However offering 50% below value, get insulted when they look at you incredulously, well then you're insulting your customers intelligence. Why we don't use them unless we "have to", even for service? When it comes to their service department our experience has been to take the time estimate we're given and multiply by 2. Thus - and as the impetus for this review - my wife is still waiting, 3 hours later (stated estimate: 60 - 90 minutes). As is normal for our experience with these guys, no information has been provided, even when asked, as to what has gone wrong to cause the service to take twice (or more) the estimated time. (Edit: It took 3.5 hours to finish the service. Enough said.) My personal opinion? If you want an Acura, find somebody better. read more

BE AWARE OF FAULTY ENGINES WITH EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. There is currently a Class Action Lawsuit for faulty J37 engines in the following vehicles: MDX 2010-2013 RL 2011-2012 TL 2009-2014 ZDX 2010-2013 I have an Acura TL SH AWD 3.7L from 2013 with the excessive oil consumption problem. I partook in their "oil consumption test". BE WARY they might try to overfill your oil tank during this test as they did to me. Take a picture of the oil level as soon as you start the test. I was turned away by the dealership and the factory. I now have a disabled vehicle sitting in my driveway. I will be pursing legal action. read more

If I could give less, I'd give less. This dealerships finance department is absolutely horrendous. I went to buy a car and we agreed on a trade and purchase. I also have a $4500.00 down payment. Unfortunately, I left while finance was working with banks. They called me once they heard back and it just wasn't going to work on my terms, I signed nothing, and sent texts to specifically destroy my check to the salesman and it was supposed to be done. Instead the check was still cleared, caused issues at my bank, and the dealership has yet to return my calls on this. Absolute bullshit. This is by far a horrendous service experience. If a sale isn't finalized with a purchase agreement you don't cash someone's check, even after assuring them it would be destroyed. read more

I've had my Acura serviced here twice now and they do the best job of any Acura dealership I've ever been to. The service department's prices are fair and well explained and they do good work, but best of all the staff goes out of their way to make sure you're satisfied, calling the next day to check in. I recently had several services done at once and they were quick to offer me my choice of a loaner vehicle at no charge. Their waiting room is well stocked with magazines and complimentary snacks, but I really appreciated being able to use the time spent waiting to run errands in Nashua. I'll keep coming back as long as I have my Acura, and I'll probably buy another one from Sunnyside once I've driven this one into the ground. read more

I get treated with respect and courtesy - and outstanding maintenance - as if my MDX was new. After every service or repair, my MDX handles and performs better and better and better. Recently had an interior and exterior detailing. They put the word, detail, into detailing; simply the best detailing the MDX has ever gotten. I own a 2009 MDX which I purchased from Sunnyside 10 years ago. Warranty service over the first four years was fine. Slow, but fine. From that point forward, however, it became a constant battle. Most notably, the free NH State Inspection gimmick morphed into a blatant gouging Program, where they would literally manufacture $3000 to $5000 repairs in order to pass the inspection. Every year! It became comical. This year, as always, I then went on to pay the $40 at a reputable service center, and they confirmed that my car was perfect, and the need to "replace the entire power steering rack" was a boldfaced lie. Do dealerships often operate in this manner? Sure, but not to this degree, year after year. Sunnyside Acura lacks integrity. It is impossible to see it any other way. read more

I was able to get discount, gift weather mats, full pricing worked out on phone with Rachel so When I got there after 160 mile drive everything was ready to go. This review is for the Sunnyside Acura service department. In a nutshell, every one of my 5 service experiences has been disappointing. Over the last 14 months, we've been to Sunnyside service on five different occasions for 2 cars. We've been in for oil changes ( one for each car), balance/rotation. Each service trip has me questioning the decision to go with Acura. No matter when we have scheduled an appointment we are made to wait at least 15 minutes before we can hand the keys over to someone. What's the point of having me schedule an appointment if I can't plan my day because you can't execute a schedule? If you're too busy that means you need to hire more people, get people to be more efficient or schedule fewer customers. Oil changes are only supposed to take an hour. When i check in I'm always told it'll be ready in an hour. After 1 hour comes and goes, i check on the new time estimate. They then say, it just needs to be washed. Why does the wash take 1.5 hours? I'm sure it doesn't but they like to throw the wash in as a reason I have to wait an additional 1.5 hours. I've had them take 2.5 hours for an oil change; the reason I've been given each time is that they are busy. Seriously?!?! My schedule is very busy and it puts me in a difficult spot whenever Sunnyside Acura is involved. I have to scramble to re-schedule my meetings because of how poorly they estimate the job. I've asked them to skip the wash but somehow it still takes 2.5 hours for an oil change. If you don't have a hectic schedule and you don't mind having to deal with waiting 150% longer than originally promised when you handed the keys over to the service folks, this is the service shop for you. Yes, the people here are very nice (that's what warranted the 2 stars instead of 1). The service manager needs to step up and get things under control. How can the wait time estimates be so far off 90% of the time? You can't do business like that and feel good about yourself, right? read more

I had writtien a negative review about a warranty issue three weeks ago. After contacting the CEO of the dealership by mail, the issue was addressed and I got a full refund of a warranty that had been issued in 2011, that cost me $1777.00. I was premature in writing a negative review about Sunnyside, and commend them for their excellent work in following up with me. Everyone on the sales floor is actually a good team to go in visit when looking for a vehicle. Being in sales myself I am not an easy customer to deal with because I will make sure I get the best deal possible but also make sure to keep in mind respecting the sales person's side as well.
