It ended up having a little more damage than was originally estimated but Benny made sure the insurance took care of everything and had it done faster than estimated. He made it easy right down to the rental car. There are a lot of slimy body shops out there, so if you want your car fixed correctly and on time, go see the professional at GGM. Coming home from a family gathering a week before Christmas, we struck a deer. I was driving my son's car. I filed a claim with our insurance company and GGM was listed as an express repair shop, close to where the car had been towed the night before. We live in Boston, so it would have been a pain to get up to Dracut to pay for the tow in cash. I called GGM and spoke with Benny, and explained the situation. He agreed to pay for the tow and just add it to the bill. This was a huge time-saver for me, and I thought really great service on the part of GGM. Benny had an estimate prepared for the insurance company within a couple of days. He ordered the parts and had the car repaired within the timeframe he had provided us....approx. 4 weeks, which I thought was very reasonable, given the holidays and also he had informed me when I first called that we was pretty busy. In the end, GGM did a great job on the repairs, which were fairly extensive, and Benny was always very pleasant to deal with. He always answers the phone, or calls back in a prompt timeframe if I left a message. I would highly recommend GGM for any body repairs, based on their quality work and very good customer service. I'm rarely so impressed by a business or its proprietor that I feel that I should spend the time and effort it takes for me (as a person disabled by a brain injury) to Yelp their praises. However, GGM is a business that goes above and beyond to make what could be a painful process virtually effortless (and actually quite pleasant) and the work they do is nothing short of extraordinary. Grizzabella (my 2007 Toyota Camry) suffered a hit and run while parked on the street a late night about 6 weeks ago, basically ruining the driver's door and denting slightly the door behind it. However, Grizzie already had her scars and had already been in dire need of a makeover; she had some scrapes on the front bumper, many the parking lot ding, and a large dent on her rear bumper from when someone moved a large yellow post near the Rite Aid parking lot dumpster. Twice. At any rate, a friend of mine who works for a towing company recommended talking to Ben at GGM about fixing the damage. So I checked out the website, which read: "Our team will work directly with your insurance and rental company so that you need not worry about these issues." Really? My broken brain doesn't have to try to keep track of how many rental days I have left or how much the insurance company will pay for or anything? I was definitely skeptical. So I gave Ben a call. After complimenting him on a fantastic first name, I explained the situation and that I had a $300 deductible. Ben says, "Forget about the deductible." "But there's a bit more work than the door. I'd like you to pull a huge dent out of the rear bumper. And I need a new tail light. And there's a scratch on the front bumper. And probably more I'm forgetting." I replied. "Don't worry, we'll do our best to take care of everything; Just bring it in this afternoon and we'll have the rental agency pick you up and your rental will be waiting for you." Really? Three and a half effortless (for me - Ben worked his ass off) weeks later (due to slowness/mistakes made by the appraisal company and Safety Insurance - and GGM was on top of everything and kept me posted the entire time), I returned to GGM and couldn't believe my eyes. Grizzabella looked better than when I drove her off the lot! New door. And a new rear bumper? And a new tail light? Entire car detailed!?! Spotless. Flawless work. It's like having a new car. My car has had some bad luck in it's young age. And it's a lease, so I needed it back to it's beautiful, pre-accident condition. First, a fence fell on it, and then 2 months later a whole bunch of heavy snow fell off a building and crushed it!! Benny was able to fix both damages at once, including replacing the entire roof(!), and helped me get into a great rental. He worked well with my insurance company and when I got my car back, it looked brand new again. Quality work, good turn around time, and very friendly staff who kept me updated along the way. I've recommended his shop to several of my friends, who have all had similar great experiences with their repairs as well. Don't really know where to begin. Benny at GGM is such a cool and outgoing guy. He took care of everything for me, EVERYTHING. As we all know, when in college we are almost always broke. Got into an accident where a cement company dropped cement on my car. I immediately called Benny and set up an appointment. Any extra costs I couldn't afford,( later discussed). He took care of the insurance company and fought for everything to be fixed properly, because they didn't want to pay for everything; they ended up paying for everything but one thing. He personally cleaned my car to remove all the cement and then once the work was done payed for a professional detailer to clean it, out of his own pocket. He took care of the insurance company, rental company and even paid for extra rental fees that the insurance wouldn't cover. Benny was great ! The insurance company wouldn't pay for my damaged rim, so the ship took care of that While waiting for my rental to show up at the shop we talked about cigars, even smoked some together. I have NEVER met a more humble, giving family in all my life. There are genuine, amazing people in the world and Ben and his family are apart of that elite group. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben, his wife Kaylin and their 4 year old son by accident. I was driving out of the MGH parking lot in Boston when a police officer told me to pull over because I had a flat tire. This family happened to be walking by and after asking countless people to help me I think they saw the desperation in my eyes and were more than willing to help me. They stopped what they were doing, changed my tire and if that wasn't enough! Ben took my flat tire and carried it to his car in an adjacent parking garage and said he was going to bring it to his shop to fix it for me. I didn't know how to react or respond. This family had no idea about anything in my life. I have been out of work for 3 months because of medical concerns and have not received one penny from short term disability yet and already had to give up my dwelling and move in with a friend. I literally had 20 dollars of borrowed money to my name. I began to shake inside. I just couldn't believe it! The miracle does not stop there. I got a text the VERY NEXT DAY, telling me my tire was ready, to pick it up whenever was convenient for me. I borrowed money from my brother and wrote a thank you card for all they have done for me. When I arrived at the GGM Auto Body Ben was not there. A mechanic working on a car said, hello you must be here for the tire. I said yes I am. He rolls out a brand new tire. I started to get nervous because I knew I had no money for a new tire. I instantly called his wife and let her know I was here and asked how much for the tire. She said "nothing" I started to weep. I asked again in disbelief. When Ben returned I handed him the thank you note with cash in it. He opened it and handed me back the cash. I just began to cry. It is insane the heart of these two. If I ever need or hear of anyone needing repair for their car I will send them to GGM Auto Body. It is worth the meeting of such great people! I brought my brand new 4Runner into GGM last month for a bumper repair. I've never been there before but after hearing rave reviews I took my truck there from Quincy to be fixed. Ben was very efficient, dealt with some issues with my insurance company in a very professional manner and defended the work that needed to be done on my truck which was eventually approved through Allstate. I checked in often and they did not seem the least bit bothered and when I showed up to pick up my truck, she looked brand new! I was ready to take her home and get her detailed since most shops I've used have left my trucks a mess but they took the time to get out all of the obnoxious dog fur and I even had a full tank of gas! The owner Benny is truly a man of his word and does everything in his power to properly communicate with customers as well as keep them leaving happy. I have recommended them to multiple friends and family after any automobile accident or even general glass work and everyone has reported back with a great review. In the past few years I have not had the best of luck with my vehicles being in accidents and have used multiple auto body shops and NONE have provided me with a smooth and pleasant experience like GGM has. I own both a Range Rover and Cadillac ATS, both being high-end luxury cars. GGM can handle any level of damage and car type. Within the allotted repair coverage time Benny and GGM got both cars completely back up to par if not better. I would highly recommend them for any collision or auto body repair and will certainly be a returning customer in the future! On a side note, regardless of actual damage Benny does PHENOMENAL PAINT WORK. It is really hard to find someone that is actually talented in this department and does all work properly from start to finish.
