You can either get a 20 minute foot massage or 15 minute foot massage and 5 minute shoulder massage. I always get the 15/5 because who doesn't want their shoulders massaged after a tough work week. They serve complementary wine as well which is another plus! I also feel like the prices are fair and the gel pedicure last at least 4-6 weeks!

The manager tried to fix it, but by then I'd already been sitting there for over an hour and had to settle for something much simpler just to make it to other plans. My total came to $145 for both my nails and a gel French pedi. While I understand that's on the higher end, I would have been fine with the cost if the service matched what I asked for. Instead, it felt like there was a real lack of transparency and communication. I wish they had just been honest from the start about not being able to replicate the inspo.

The woman who did them was in a rush & I was told it's her birthday so I was like okay totally fine like let's get you home to your family! She was looking around not paying attention & cut my cuticles/nail walls so badly I was bleeding. The polish was overflown, uneven & she skipped a coat on one hand. I didn't make a fuss bc I didn't want her to get in trouble especially on her birthday but wow they were awful & my fingers are still throbbing. I came in to get them fixed & had to do tips bc of how filed down they were & was charged 20 to do dip & extensions but I only did dip & extensions bc of the nubs & overly filed/uneven nails. It was quite painful getting them redone & she did glitter for free which is nice but personally if I hurt someone that much I wouldn't be charging a dime & would apologize. The woman who did my nails last night stood next to her the whole time & they were chatting which was uncomfortable in my opinion she also didn't apologize once& they chuckled whenever I winced or pulled my hand back out of pain. That being said, the service here can be hit or miss. I never manage to keep track of technician's names that I particularly like--or when I do, they're gone after a few appointments. I've never been upset about the finished product, but pedis are a little more low stakes than manicures. I have had the occasional "rough" technician, where the relaxation is disturbed by occasional pain. And you only need to be sliced open by the sharp edge of a nail file once before you're on high alert to prevent it ever happening again. I just wish I could count on pure relaxation when coming here. On my last visit, I'm sad to say my chair was straight up dirty. Both side tables on the chair and their cup holders had not been cleaned in obviously quite some time. I know this because it looked like the inside of our car when a detailing is long overdue! There was evidence of multiple spills which had gotten sticky and had started collecting dust and grime. I'm no clean freak but it's such an easy thing to restore to sparkling! And while I have no doubt they sanitize their tools, it makes you wonder what else they're letting slide. My daughter got an acrylic set on my last visit as well. The tech did a great job with my teen's polish design, which was of course very specific, but the work on the acrylics was just...bad. The fingernails were molded upwards at an angle like her nails were peeling backwards at the base. I didn't say anything because I didn't see the finished product until the end, but I also didn't want my teen thinking the nails she just got for her event were "bad." I will be coming back here, but this last visit was the first in a long time and upon re-entering I realized my less frequent pedis were because the place just isn't as relaxing as it once was. Like I said, not giving up on Velvet, but I am always on the lookout for the Pedi Heaven I seek. I hope they can bring it!

The amount was $50 for a pedicure and I tipped $10 for a total of $60 My review is a One because she clipped my large toenails so short and shaped them as you would a fingernail. When that happens and it is below the toe, it creates an ingrown toenail. Three weeks later and I'm still in pain in closed-toed shoes. This is extremely painful and continues until the nail grows back out. Then on the other big toe she rip the bed causing pain because she tore and, naturally, bled.

I'm so sad because it was $60 without tip which is almost double what I get at my normal salon I go to that does incredible designs. Won't be going back unfortunately. Too expensive for work that looks worse than what I could do at home myself.
