After replacing disposal, took him no more than 1/2 hr (probably 20 mins) to snake the sink drain to unstop those 2 sink drains. $670! My mistake- should have bought disposal myself, gone with another plumber if unable to give me an estimate range over the phone, then not have them do anything once arrived until gave me an estimate in writing. I may be wrong but to pay $333 labor cost for less than 1 hour of labor is over the top. Then the dishwasher wouldn't drain. My husband spent the evening messing with it only to find out that the technician left the drain plug in so water kept flowing back into the dishwasher. Update Hadn't received my emailed receipt. Texted the number late last night (7/10/2026) and was then sent the receipt. I had been advised by the technician that the labor would $333 for a customer supplied disposer. The invoice shows a $234 for "Install Customer Supplied Disposer." Yes, it was a signed invoice from a tablet. The technician had me to sign without reviewing the invoice. I trusted that the install was $333 as he had said. Additionally After removing the drain plug that the technician left in and running the dishwasher, it backed up again twice and proceeded to not function. Texted the number again last night regarding the plug being left in and the dishwasher causing water to build up in the bottom of the dishwasher. And now, the dishwasher is not functioning after removing the plug. Scheduled a technician to come out today.
