Upon realizing the condenser was defective this installer wanted to charge me for a complete total a/c system replacement for about 3 times the cost of his installed defective condenser. I decided to look for another installer and finally contacted Ray, the owner of RC Heating and Cooling, who assured me on the phone that I only needed the condenser replaced and not the entire a/c system. He came by the same day to checked on my a/c problem. We ordered the new condenser and replaced the defective condenser the following day. And at a more competitive total cost than the prior installer and who had attempted to install a previously owner and defective condenser. I can't say enough how satisfied I am with Ray's honesty and professional work ethics. I have several house rentals in Vacaville and Ray is the first hvac installer that has not tried to upsell me on a/c repair work. Ray is more than fair, he is truly a man of his word and he is a real professional.

The installation was good but... 1. A remote control was placed between a light switch and the door. You need to turn on the light before you use the remote, preferably w/o scraping your knuckles. 2. A pile of trash was left behind. I forgave that since the three men worked hard for more than 8 hours. 3. After they did wiring in my attic, insulation started falling through the kitchen ceiling vent. I pointed it out and the installer vacuumed the vent from below. I said it would be better to blow it, but he said it would be fine. It continues to fall down thru the vent. 4. Old HVAC vents were blocked to keep the warm air in and cold air out, but they left a big one in the old HVAC closet. Also, they capped the gas pipe inside the closet, so there are two holes to the outside. I could have made the closet look finished if they had capped the pipe below the house. 5. The way they inserted the cable ducts through the foundation air vent was poor. Rodents can now enter. 6. Poor oversight and communication. I wanted easy things corrected that would take 20min. "Mark" promised someone would get back to me...they never did. I called/texted about 5 times. Finally he stopped responding. UPDATE: The Yelp review prompted a call from Mark. He asked the foreman Zach to call me and address the problems. Zach called, said someone was in my area and would be by within 30 min. No one showed. No one called or texted. I will take a start off for poor oversight.

The most recent technician said it should have never passed an inspection. Lots of things done haphazardly. Be careful they don't install an older furnace or AC unit like they did to me. One was 2 years older than the other and parts may not be easy to find due to changing regulations. Best service you'll get in Solano (and a little bit of Contra Costa) Simon owns the company, no middle man, and he has more than 17 years of experience working in HVAC. When I requested service for my AC, he would've literally been able to come check it out within half an hour! I wasn't able to do that cuz I was working, but he was able to work with my schedule. The flexibility is always great. When he came by, he was immediately able to diagnose the problem, told me exactly what I need, how much it was, and even taught me how to maintain it and diagnose issues on my own as well. No frills, no upselling, saved me money wherever he could, and most importantly, the job was future proofed as well. Simon was thorough, and explained there was really nothing wrong with our furnace. He tested it, and it worked fine. He didnt charge me anything at all. We asked if he could come out to clean our AC. And you know what he said y'all? He said once every Summer just get your hose, put it on jet, and spray the vents out. That's it. We were ready to pay him to come out and clean our AC unit and Simon, said we didn't need to. I mean, who does that nowadays?! Full disclosure: I had another furnace company come out and check my furnace. This company not only told me my motor was broken (BS! ), and also would cost $950 to fix. They also greatly emphasized replacing the whole system for $12k. I have no doubt this company would also charge a grip to come out and clean our AC unit. So, my brothers and sisters, please DO NOT call ANY, I repeat ANY other furnace repair but Marasigan. It is a small local, family-owned business that unmistakenly takes great pride, holds the utmost integrity in their work, and most importantly, is completely honest with their customers.
