After seeing ramen places everywhere, I was nearby and decided to grab something to eat. Was thinking of trying the Seafood ramen but landed on the Braised Beef Taiwanese. It was a good choice. They give plenty of beef and it's tender. There were also plenty of noodles. I'm already getting stuffed and haven't made a dent in it. Portion size is really large. I also got the strawberry lemonade with mango boba. I never get boba but decided to try it. It's a nice addition to the drink. Service is good, staff are very welcoming. One good touch this restaurant does is you can order a side order of BBQ short rib and chicken and both does not disappoint; well marinated and cooked well. Unsure why this place has more negative reviews than positive. My boyfriend and I decided to try out this place yesterday for lunch. Right as we walked in, we were greeted kindly. It's fairly spacious inside. We ordered the chicken karaage as the appetizer, the BBQ mix plate to share, & brown sugar boba milk tea. Chicken Karaage: Huge chunks of chicken which was awesome. Extra crispy. I think adding a sauce on the side would be a great add. 6.5/10 BBQ Mix Plate: Huge portion and perfect for 2 people. One of my families go-to take out spots. I regret that I don't have any photos to share. To be honest, we get our food to go 99% of the time and don't take pics at home. We find their food that comforting and good. We just get right to eating. lol I love, love, love the Chashu rice bowl. I get it almost every single time. It's hearty, delicious and filling. The lumpia is also great as well. Spam Musubi is a must, although it seems a bit more rice and a bit thinner spam than it used to have. The black garlic ramen is awesome. Just so flavorful and delicious. The broth is fantastic and it's so nice to have on a cold night. The teriyaki chicken plate is also a top favorite of ours. We ordered an Unagi and Tofu and Veggie Bowl plus two drinks: classic milk tea with red bean and taro milk with red bean. The red bean is a hard to find topping at Boba places, so I appreciate that it's available. The bowls were good: unagi was done well, the veggie was steamed well, and the silken tofu was well seasoned. But the rice was fantastic! It was not mushy or too moist. You can taste each grain of rice. All in all, I did not notice anything particularly taiwanese other than the Beef Roll Pancakes and 3 cup chicken. Strawberry milk tea w/ boba, 27% sweet, buy 1 get 1 free = I wouldn't be able to rate this because what I got was strawberry lemonade. Braised Pork Belly Rice = 5/10. The pork belly was underseasoned and not crispy, crunchy...it was almost like it was boiled. Very underwhelming. Beef Bowl = 7/10. The beef was pretty good, it was just so little of it. We got a ton of cabbage though. Taro Milk Tea, 25% sweet, regular price = 9/10. This was the winner of the entire order. 08/15 - I was really craving the Taro Milk Tea and decided to drive out to the establishment to order it. Upon arrival, the place was big and clean. The gentleman at the counter taking the orders seemed overwhelmed. I asked if the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal was available when ordering directly. He said no, I would have to order through the DD app and put it for pickup. I did just that and sat inside the restaurant to wait for my DD drink order. I checked through it, only to realize that I only had the dumplings and rice. No chicken. I went back to the counter and the gentleman I guess forgot to place the order. He placed the order again and I had to wait another 15 min. I waited for almost 45 min for everything so when I got home, I was excited to eat my 3 cup chicken (the online pictures looked so good), and my less sweet milk tea. But, alas!!! The disappointment continues!!!!!!!!!! When I opened my container of chicken, I didn't have 3 cup chicken. It was teriyaki chicken. I had been looking forward to this all day and the entire thing was a flop. It's sad to say, but I won't be returning. read more

Excellent hot pot. This is a Taiwanese hot pot that serves menus that are set. This is a great way to try hot pot as it's almost like a bento box style where it is just enough food for one person. We even had extra Ramen and noodles on the table . The price is reasonable per person for the experience. First time here and it was ok! They don't have a good assortment of spices and oils for their sauce. Chopped green onions was out and they never replaced it. Service is 3 stars of 5 for me. This is the dish brought a 4 star review down to 2. It came at the last place as it was made to order. looks and smells good when it was brought to the table. Traditional 3 cups chicken is bone-in, some places make it boneless. Never in my life I was served meatless bone as a meal. I got 3 chicken drumstick BONE, one chicken thigh BONE, and 4-5 pieces of nickel to quarter size meat. I ask the service is this how they serve all their customers? She said she doesn't know as this is a new item on the menu. I asked for the owner or the manager, of course no one was there. Owner has to decide to server this dish bone-in or boneless.
