I was there on the 25th. With what I thought was a short or blown speakers. Tuned out to be a disconnected plug. While he was diagnosing my issue a red dodge pickup, driver having issues with his steering. Leon has him pop his hood. Get his diagnostic tool, plugs it into the obd2 port. Finds a lose plug. Fixed the guys steering. No charge! Leon is the man! I highly recommend him for all your automotive issues. read more

horrible service took my truck several times for appointments that never got done. They requested more money and still never did nothing got my money back two weeks later had to take my truck to fix the repairs they did and the light bar they that they installed caused electrical problems and now when it rains, I have a flood in my truck for heavy operators and construction workers. My car broke down. It was still covered under the warranty. But most shops don't want to deal with warranty companies and I now know why. Don't ever go to this auto shop. First off they are rude, second they are unprofessional and finally they scam you for money. I went in for a check emissions light and they scammed me out of 200 dollars by simply doing an oil change with a 95 dollar diagnostic. Went and picked the car up and it had the exact same issues as it did when I brought it in. I went in the day after that and they replaced something that had nothing to do with a check emissions light and scammed me out of 91 dollars. I recommend never coming to this shop for a repair. Be aware that this is a partnership with another company called Two Brothers Automotive. My invoice had both names on it, my truck was supposedly repaired by them. I had a cylinder misfire and they claimed to change the coil and all of the spark plugs. I picked up my truck and the check engine light came on again. I took it back for a second time and they made some adjustments. The truck was driving okay until recently, my check engine light came on again. The diagnosis was the same exact cylinder as the one that was supposed to be repaired. Most mechanics don't respect the citizens as if they don't have any understanding of a vehicle repair. Some of us don't have the time or tools to make the repairs. That does not mean we are ignorant to what needs to be done. Honesty is the best policy, I rather take it to the dealership and get it done right this time. GOD will take care of all the wrong doer's.... read more

Quoted for labor plus parts, and they then stacked on 1000 dollars worth of extra charges for the 300 water pump kit he was going to use. These people are no good. Only shop in the whole high desert to charge 200 for a diagnostic. Save your money save your time. My belief is they tried to take advantage my girlfriend because it's her car. A-V Auto Clinic is my go to shop for everything car related, oil changes, smog, and mechanical repairs. The new owner Leon is a great guy The first time I met him I showed up at his shop about 20 minutes before they closed. The battery had died on our car and when I jump started it a number of settings were scrambled. Leon installed the new battery, spent about 20 minutes clearing all the faults, and charged us $20. I recently brought my wife's car in with a broken power driver's seat mount. He took everything apart, identified the component that needed replacing, and spent more than an hour on the computer trying to find a replacement. It wasn't available anywhere, not at oem suppliers, the dealership where I purchased the car, he even tried to find it on eBay. When the part finally became available, he installed it and everything works perfectly. read more

Service is good but the prices are high. Charged me 40.00 more than he quoted me and the parts were list price plus. Car ran good afterword and they did get the car to pass smog but at these prices I will shop around for a more reasonable shop. read more

Never go here!!. So let me tell you yelpers my situation with Av Auto my husband took in my Van to get a diagnostic on 10/24/19 and sorry I did not get his name but he is a older slinky guy tells us we need rear brakes and master cylinder to be replace they quoted us a ridiculous amount of money almost $700.00 for parts and service crazy right so we shopped around for the parts we ended up getting the parts from auto zone ok so by this time it was late to get the van fixed so we said we will return tomorrow so my husband did so on 10/25/19 we get the master cylinder and rear brakes done. Well all this week of Deceber 3 thru today December 5 2019 the same issue we had that Av claimed to had fixed is happening again so my husband took off work and went in to Av auto clinic and they check the van out and stated to him the master cylinder is no good mind you they just put it in in October so he proceed to tell my husband go get another one you should still be under warranty so he did just that come to find out the old master cylinder that was taken off my van in October well we kept it in my trunk and I am glad I did because my husband looked in the boxs let me tell you guys there was a pair of brand new rear brakes WHAT!!! my husband calls Av Auto Clinic and proceeds to ask them did you guys put in my rear braked back in October wen I brought you guys the Van he tell my husband no we didn't if we did we would have charged you a additional $200.00 dollars he responded to Av auto reminding him we have a receipts stating that you charged me for installing master cylinder and rear brakes. my husband did not want to argue back and forth so we fill duppe.We don't know what to do. read more

This was the first time that I've come to this facility but they were recommended to me. I had a issue with my car passing the bi annual smog test on my car. After telling Brian all that I have already done, replacing the spark plugs and all of the coil packs, Good Evening quickly diagnosed the problem. This was not an inexpensive repair job and I told Brian that that was all I had. If he did this job, there was no money left for any surprises. Brian felt comfortable in his diagnosis and I felt comfortable leaving the car with him. The repairs took a day longer than I had hoped but when the call came, the repairs were done, the car passed the smog test and I'm good for 2 more years. I highly to omens this shop for any of your auto repairs. They have a clean shop, took me home and picked me up. Happy to give them 5 stars read more

i took my truck in at 8 am-the master cylinder needed to be replaced. at 3;30 pm i went back to check-john was working on another car that had just shown up. when i googled how long should it take to change a brake master cylinder-the answer was thirty minutes. i asked john why it was taking so long-apparently his excessive smoke breaks with his budddies was more important than a thirty minute job. i showed him the google research-he got mad-put out his cigarette and went to work-i got my truck back at 5pm. eight hours-for a thirty minute job? this is a one man shop-the electricity kept going out-buddies kept stopping by-and never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
