Awesome new donut spot! I really like their variety of flavors, all for a good price too! On taste alone, these have nice texture (both cake and yeast donuts) and the perfect amount of icing and sweetness. And I can tell they're using quality ingredients. I couldn't resist and tried almost all the flavors. Happy to say I really enjoyed everything!! My faves were the Strawberry and Blueberry flavors, bc I'm partial to cake donuts and the berry-ness really came through on these. I could put away like 3-4 of these myself in one sitting, no lie ;) For all you Oreo and cookie fans, they have regular Oreo and Mint Oreo donuts which my brother enjoys bc he loves mint everything. The S'mores donut was really, really good especially bc I love the marshmallow frosting, with graham crumbs and chocolate icing combo. The Fruity Pebbles was another favorite and def the most Instagram-able. And for all you meat lover's, the Maple Bacon does not skimp on their real bacon crumbles lol. Recently moved to the area from Seattle and have been looking for a solid donut spot. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by all the artisan and fancy spots in the city, but I had high hopes for this place given the 5 star reviews and was a bit disappointed. I got there around 10:30 on a weekend, which I guess is sort of late but at the same time I didn't expect them to be that cleared out. They had just a few of most donuts left. The donuts were on the smallish side and sort of flat, not fluffy. I got a Bavarian and wondered how there could be filling inside cause it was so flat. Also, sad to say cause it's usually my favorite donut to get - but skip the Apple fritter. I usually like a fritter with lots of crispy edges, but again these were just like a flat blob.. also no apple chunks.. just sort of cinnamony dough. Plus for the guy working who was really friendly and personable. They were out of donut holes, which I guess they give out free with every order, so he just didn't charge me for one of my donuts instead. Overall just ok, and I don't quite get all the 5 star reviews. Also not in the greatest area.. lots of junkies hanging around the gas station and bus stop out front. read more

I drove up from Seattle to try this place based on the great reviews. I tried the PB&J donut as I had never even heard of that kind of donut in my many years of eating donuts and boy was I super disappointed. While there was a generous layer of peanut butter on top, the donut was only about a quarter filled with super sweet filling, nothing that came close to tasting like jelly. I also got a raspberry filled donut, and that was only about half filled. If they put that filling in the PB&J donut, it would have tasted better. Much more bread like feeling and tasting than a normal Fritter, not a very crispy outside that I desire in my Fritters. I've been here 3 times and each time, has been consistent with the quality of their donuts as well as their wonderful customer service. It is family owned and everyone who I've met there has been so genuine and down to earth. I called in ahead of time to request a few "specialty" donuts (fruity pebble, PB&J, Oreo) that tend to run out pretty quickly in the morning, and the guy (I wish I remembered his name) told me what was available and that he'd set it aside for me as I was on the way for pick up. Upon arrival, I ordered several more of the traditional donuts. The place is small but is a cute simple shop and clean. Everyone was masked up and I felt safe. I met the guy who took my order and he was very hospitable and kind. Very excellent customer service. He went above and beyond and even helped carry out the 3 boxes of donuts I got and put it in my trunk for me! Looked up good donuts near me. This placed showed up with almost a 5 star rating. So off we headed. Now the donuts were amazing. I got a chocolate with Oreos on top my daughter got a cinnamon twist. Both very tasty. The guy behind the counter made the experience. He was friendly and explained our options. He chatted with us and we certainly felt welcomed. A step up from your regular Donut shop. The store was clean. It was a good experience. The 4 star rating instead of 5 was due to the location. It was difficult to get to the store. We were on airport way headed west. You cannot pull in that direction. That did not stop our effort. The only way was either go thru the gas station parking lot or head east on airport way. But be careful this way because it puts you in the bus stop lane pulling in. Still worth the effort. read more

They have a good variety of different donuts. This was my first visit. I found them through Yelp and saw that they carried blueberry donuts. Blueberry donuts are my favorite and I'm always on the hunt for great tasting donuts! I came a little late (11am). Was greeted by an awesome employee, which I didn't happen to catch a name. He was very helpful, funny, and warming/welcoming. They have a great deal of blueberries left, which made me a happy girl. Their donuts are very moist and soft. The glaze isn't over the top, just right. I thoroughly enjoyed little bites of the half dozen that I bought. I definitely enjoyed the blueberry! They also give free donut holes with each transaction! Went here yesterday. Gotta say, this is my new favorite donut shop in the area (and there's a few really good ones). They were closing early for some staffing shortages but stayed open to help us. Even so, the donuts were very very fresh and delicious. The owners are so nice, the most genuine small business owners you could want to support. Fun donut spot! The interior design is really nice, I loved the neon sign and modern green decor. A1 has a great variety of donuts to choose from, so go wild if that's your thing. The best donut, in my opinion, was the one with strawberry sprinkles. It's SO GOOD. The donuts here are all tasty. And the workers here are super friendly. I'm not supposed to have sugar but once in a while I rebel against diabetes. So I treated myself to a cinnamon sugar donut. It was soft and actually not too sweet as I expected. Just enough sugar dust on top but I didn't really taste the cinnamon. Hmmm... I wondered if it was just a regular sugar donut I picked. Anyway, nothing was wasted. I ate the whole donut and enjoyed it. It was a very nice, yummy donut. I wish I could have more than 1. Sadly, it was also a take out because of the lock down. It is very weird now to go to place to get food. I felt disconnected and unfriendly as if I'm not social at all. I got my donut and left. I did tip though. My wife and I were craving doughnuts late on a Sunday. Since most doughnut places close earlier, we thought we were out of luck. I yelped to see if there was anywhere good in the area. Luckily this place was still open til 6, or 7 I believe. I called first to see if they still had much selection. Most places would only have limited quantities left by end of day. The polite lady, let me know there was plenty to choose from. When I got there, I wasn't disappointed. There was a large array of most/ all the flavors left. I believe she was the store owner. Very sweet lady, who even gave me a couple freebies for coming in before closing. I was only going to grab a few, but ended up getting a dozen. She was right that by getting a dozen, it was more worthwhile. These doughnuts were amazing! They were perfectly baked. All the classics were great. The flavors, and concepts were good. I loved what I came in for which was the fruit pebbles. We definitely couldn't finish them all. Luckily her sister came by, so we sent some home with her. Would HIGHLY recommend! We went here for the first time last week! We are on the search for a great doughnut in our area. The gentleman that was behind the counter was really friendly so I give their customer service an excellent review! By the time we go there, around 10:30, there wasn't a whole lot of doughnuts to choose from but we still got a few. The doughnuts were really light and tasted really good. I would say the chocolate bar that I got was super sweet, and that's saying a lot for me since I love sweets. I ordered a dozen ($15.36) and I do wish there were a few more options like chocolate glazed or sour cream but that still doesn't take away from the taste. I took one bit and I was hooked! I happened upon this new donut place when I decided to take a different route home. I'm so happy I did! When I walked in I was greeted warmly right away. The gentleman behind the counter was helpful and offered a couple of samples and some pleasant conversation. I got to taste a piece of the blueberry and strawberry cake donuts and their apple fritter right there before I had even ordered!! All of them were delicious! I ended up grabbing a half dozen (plus 1 or 2 more *_*) so that we could try a bunch of different flavors at home. I ended up with a "Homer" (pink frosting with sprinkles), a couple glazed donuts, a blueberry cake donut, a maple bacon bar, an Oreo donut, and a PB&J donut (filled with Raspberry jelly). I got them all home and we cut samples out for everyone to try....they were ALL delicious!! Overall, I would recommend this place for both no nonsense "normal" donuts AND for fancy dancy "weird" donuts. From the conversation I had, they've only been open for a few months or so and are still ramping up and figuring out what flavors to do regularly and what to include in their display case!
