After reading other reviews on this business, we hired A1 to clean out our dryer vent, and are happy we did. The appointment was arranged quickly via email, which shows excellent response time. On appointment day, Steve texted to say he was on his way, gave an approximate time of arrival, and even arrived early. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He cleaned the dryer vent, which was definitely in need of a cleaning, and showed us photos of before and after. In addition to the cleaning, he measured the airflow of our dryer, told us how to clean the current lint filter, advised us on where to order replacement lint filters, and gave us tips on maintaining everything properly. I hired A-1 Dryer Vent Cleaning to clean my dryer duct today. Jim the owner showed up on time, was friendly, and very knowledgeable. He did a very thorough job (running the cleaning brush through both sides) which is somethng the last company I hired did not do. I was suprised at the amount of lint that came out after 9 years without cleaning. Before Jim began, he measured the airflow coming out the vent at 14.3 mph. After he was finished, the new air flow reading went up to 19.8 mph. This will shorten my dryer run times, and subsequently lengthen the life of my dryer. Review of dryer vent cleaning I am very happy with Jim Warren of A-1 Dryer Vent Cleaning. 480-526-2662. He returned my call promptly, answered all my ?? & explained his process. He came out this am. He showed me the scorch marks on the inside of my dryer before he tested the temp and air flow. He went on the roof and examined and photographed my blockage (photo date and timed stamped) cleaned out the dryer, behind it, brushed out the vent downward after hooking his vacuum to the bottom of the vent, removing tons of lint and hair. very reasonable price. Highly recommend! Jim was amazing! Fire department came out on Friday because of built up lint and on Monday I called and he was here at 4 o'clock! He was prompt and went above and beyond his duties! Explains everything to you and gives you reasons why he's doing it. Price was fair, in fact I still think I underpaid him. He takes pride in his work and just doesn't come in and do a sloppy job and leave. I will continue to use Jim and refer everyone I know to him. I was referred to Jim at A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning by a service repair man who was fixing my washing machine. My dryer was taking a very long time to dry clothes. Jim arrived promptly, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional (plus had very reasonable prices). Our dryer had problems and it turned out that we had too much residue in the vent pipe to the roof. The appliance company recommended Jim at A1 and he was professional, courteous and efficient. I engaged him to do three of our rentals and we will have his company out every couple of years or so to complete this task, which, frankly, I have neither the tools, time or patience to do. What a great company! When the technician came out to check my dryer vent he spent tons of time making sure everything was completely cleared. There was a blockage in the upper part of the vent off of the roof and he took tons of Before and after picture so I can see what everything look like.
