Wow! I wish I could post pics but forgot to ask Tech to send them to me! Just moved into a townhome where I inherited a dryer that got fiery hot, but wouldn't dry anything! After pulling a 2 inch thick blanket of lint out of the lint trap, I was definitely worried about what was going on behind the scenes. To be sure the vent didn't cause the dryer issue, I wanted to have our duct cleaned prior to the dryer repair. I was so pleased with these guys! back story is I bought a new washer and dryer because my dryer burned out. when I had the new ones installed I got an error code that meant my ducts were not flowing well. I called Steve, he came over and found my dryer ducts were covered by previous roofers. Steve and Jim came over In Az heat and tried to fix the issue. When they left I was still getting the error code. They came back later that week to totally rectify the issue. They were so professional and honest and just truly good people. Jim is very responsive and did an excellent job with the my dryer vent. He was also able to retrieve the cleaning brush extension that got stuck in the vent after I tried (and failed) to clean the vent. The vent was very dirty and most likely had not been cleaned since it was installed in the 1980s. My vent went up through the attic to the roof and took a slight bend from the attic up, which can cause a lot of lint to get trapped. He worked from the bottom the of the vent and from the top while on the roof to do a thorough job. He also checks and cleans the dryer for lint buildup which can be a fire hazard. The visit only took 1 hour to complete and was totally worth the time and costs (which was very reasonable). Thanks Jim! read more

This is a company of professionalism and integrity! In December, 2021, the lint alert alarm that was installed in my wall behind the dryer was going off intermittently. Having purchased my dryer in 2012 from Best Buy, I arranged service for my dryer with them. Within a week after the Best Buy tech serviced my dryer, the lint alarm began to go off again! Realizing that the problem was most likely not my dryer but the vent, I called several companies, but was told there were no appointments until well into January, 2022. I was so lucky that I called A1 Dryer Vent! Steve Y came out the day before New Year's Eve, and took his time to do the most thorough job, including climbing onto my roof, explaining everything thoroughly, sending me photos of what he found, and just went above and beyond! One revelation Steve discovered was that a handyman had covered the dryer vent on our roof with wire mesh to prevent rodents from entering, which should never be done! Steve removed the wire mesh, cleaned the vents, and he was able to figure out how to reset my lint alert alarm! The cost was lower than other company quotes I had received too! Jim was on time, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (the flapper valve on the roof was stuck shut). He cleaned out the vent and even attached a new dryer vent duct at no additional charge.
