We noticed pieces of our roof around our house figuring it was the wind...it wasn't. We found an advertisement in our local coupon book for A1 Home Roofing Company. Ghorban, the CEO, is amazing. We did get 3 estimates from other companies but A1 was the best value in our estimation. A1 showed up on time, kept their schedule and did an amazingly beautiful job. 5 stars to Ghorban and his crew at A1 Home Roofing gor a great (and difficult) job at our large house in the Crescent Park section of Palo Alto. Our house has both 1- and 2-story sections. Each section has a very high and steeply-pitched) )about 60 degrees) roof. And, each roof section has multiple high-wide andsimilatly steep and high-pitched window gables. Additionally it has a separate but attached 2-car garage, and a separate but detached small shed. A-1 re placed the entire roof, which was comprised of wood shingles, with triple-layer Presidential asphalt shingles. The job was completed exactly as promised and on schedule. Importantly, every bit of debris resulting from tearing off the original wood shingles was cleaned up. I needed a roof and gutter replacement which was a big job because 3 layers of the previous roof needed to be removed and 75-year-old rotten plywood needed to be replaced. We established a time to come to my home and he arrived completely prepared with photos, measurements, and recommendations for the roof. We worked with Fariborz to replace the roof on our prior home in Danville, and his crew did a fantastic job. It was previously an old composition roof, which was in need of repair when we bought the house. Mr. Ghorban was great and worked with us through the entire process, all the way to the end. He recommended that we go with a tile roof, to match the style of the house and give the added insulation. We had a few bumps in the road (an old leaky solar water heating system had caused some severe water damage to a section unseen until the roof was removed). They were able to find solutions quickly and affordably, and had our roof water tight with minimal delays. As soon as the roof was complete, we immediately noticed the temperature in the house was much cooler due to the tile roof we had selected. Plus, it was gorgeous!!!
