I've been here a number of times with great results, the pizza was delicious, this past Saturday night, not so much. Order pickup was for 6:07 , I stepped in at 6:09 and grabbed the 2 pizzas I ordered and made my 10 minute drive home. When I opened the boxes the pizzas were dry and cold and the crust was cooked more than usual, ate one slice and was done. Hopefully it was a bad night, I will try it again but it was a bad experience . read more

We ordered Sunday Supper which is very nice on a Sunday night. But the restaurant on Sunday night has just High School kids working no Assistant Manager or owner to help out with the High School kids. Have not yet got on a Sunday night order correct yet. Pizza burnt and restaurant very disorganized. If the restaurant is open on Sunday night staff correctly on just don't open. So good luck ordering on a Sunday Night!!!! read more

Wow! My daughter and I stopped in for a Nor'Easter dinner tonight. We had two diet cokes, fried mozzarella, and their margarita pizza! Have to say it was amazing! The fried mozzarella tasted fresh and home made not store bought. The margarita pizza was the best we've had south of the North End. (Can't compare to Town Spa, Linwood cafe, or Venus - Whitman) as bar pizza is a different animal altogether. The pizza had fresh basil and mozzarella! It was mouthwatering! The staff were very friendly, the cooks were very cool. I have to hand it to them. When they lost power, nobody missed a beat! Staff and customers acted as if nothing happened and carried on as usual! Great friendly atmosphere! It was a little loud, but I thought it was great! All in all, I'd highly recommend A3 (named after the Italian interstate, and ironically on RT3A in Kingston! read more

The only people who know what they're doing at A3 are the adults in the kitchen. The teenagers working the front have no clue how to run a restaurant. I ordered a chicken cutlet, sauce on the side, and garlic bread over the phone; an extremely simple order. I even repeated it three times and had the girl on the phone repeat it back to me (because I've had previous bad experiences similar to this). When I arrived, there was no garlic bread; just chicken and sauce. Not only did the girl at the counter not acknowledge it was a mistake, but she tried to make me just accept the order as is. I told her that I wanted the garlic bread I ordered. So, she put in a new order for garlic bread and told me it would be right out. After waiting 20 additional minutes (it wasn't even busy so I don't know why it took this long), I told her that my chicken was cold, I no longer wanted the garlic bread/I wanted to be refunded for it. Instead of refunding me, she refused, and had me wait an additional 5 minutes. By the time I got home, my chicken had been sitting out for 45 minutes AND I realized she overcharged me for the garlic bread. Whomever manages this place needs to hire actual competent adults or train the teenagers they hire. Because it's unacceptable. read more

hands down, the worst dining experience of my life. not only did we wait over 2 hours for our food that never showed up, when we decided it was time to go since the food was served to another table, the manager not only did not apologize once, she threw her hand in our face and told us we were all set and yelled BYE! I asked her politely if we had done something wrong by leaving after sitting for 2 hours with no good and she just kept throwing her hand in my face telling me I'm all set. Found this place on help and had high expectations. Don't get me wrong the food was good. But they should know their limits. We placed an order over the phone and when we got there it was not ready. We got there 15 minutes past what they told us. The place was packed and they were having a hard time keeping up. Our order had not even started cooking when we got there. Finally about 30 minutes later we were able to get our food. The price was also on the higher end. But I don't mind paying for something as long as they can deliver quality and service. They should either hire more staff or turn away business. read more

I've dined at A3 several times over the past six or so months and have always been happy with both the food and service. Pizza is probably where A3 shines the brightest and though they may be slightly more expensive I think they're probably the best in the local area. The fusilli ala vodka with sausage has been one of my favorites and the portion size for all pastas is consistent with the price. I've pretty much always had extra to take home. Chicken parm with the added pasta does look pricey on first glance but it is a massive piece of chicken and it's very good. I'd recommend splitting it and sharing another entree. I understand some griping about the prices at A3 but I think the portion sizes and overall quality make it a good value and I'd definitely recommend it. read more

Came here to check it out and while extremely busy and everything taking a bit longer was still pleased. Kids got meatballs and pasta and the meatball was great! We shared lasagna and chick parm which didn't disappoint. Next time plan to try the pizza which was flying out the door as takeout. Definitely recommend. read more

Previous experience has been very good, but Friday night I waited an hour for pickup only to receive a well-burned cheese pizza:( Very disappointing to think they care so little to let this product go out the door. I went in for dinner with my husband and 2 kids on a whim and wow! The pizza was amazing! I'm not a salad person either but we shared the house salad and it was perfection! If you haven't been so yourself a favor and order the margarita pizza with pepperoni on top. Amazing!! Now I crave it every week! Saw this place on Phantom Gourmet last weekend and couldn't wait to check it out. The lovely ladies that greeted us when we arrived were so welcoming we immediately felt comfortable. Our server (Christine I think) was amazing. We sat at the bar so we got to watch everything that was sent out of the VERY clean kitchen and there wasn't anything we didn't want to try. This was something I had an interest in trying after seeing it on phantom gourmet. The atmosphere was very clean and the waitress was attentive. My husband and I shared a few things on the menu and we were not disappointed. The meatball appetizer was delicious and moist. The chicken parm was large in portion and extremely flavorful. Absolute trash and waste of money. They should be ashamed of the prices they charge for the poor quality of food they provide. Ordered three pizzas and an antipasto salad. The antipasto salad had one cup of lettuce ( and I'm being generous here folks) with 1 inch cubes of Parmesan ( I would have broke my fork and teeth trying to chew through it) and was certainly not worth the 17 dollars they are charging.( salads aren't hard to make, clearly just lazy lazy employees that don't want to cut the cheese right, no pun intended) Pizzas were way over cooked and greasy beyond belief. Love, love the pizza. Best eaten in house, wouldn't order for take out as it is so thin it will be cold by the time it reaches you. We have been several times and enjoyed the Johnny and Ivan, meatballs are great but salad is a miss. Have tried pasta a couple of times and have yet to be impressed. I've been having A3 pizza dreams since we first visited. We went soon after they opened. Meatball app was great. Pizzas are a good size for the price and quality. Some other local places charge a lot more. We wanted to try a basic cheese and decided on half pepperoni. Sitting at the bar, one of the cooks suggested we must try the Hot Honey on the pepperoni. Really good pizza, especially the white based pizza. Not a huge menu, but been a few times and everything tastes fresh and delicious. Love the crostini appetizers, especially the ricotta with hot honey. Great beer selection and warm, sleek atmosphere. First visit brought mediocre food and service and a large price tag. Tried it last weekend to see if the kinks were worked out. Our first time coming to A3, we sat at the large center table were we waiting quite a few before anyone came over. The couple next to us who got here after us were served drinks right away as we continued to wait. We got a half cheese half mushroom. The pizza was good but I do not think worth $17.50. I found it amusing that their food was a little pricey but they use paper plates. Service was okay nothing too crazy for the small restaurant, sort of awkward when you looked up you couldn't help my eye contact with the people across the table. Really great pizza. You have to go beyond a regular cheese pizza to truly appreciate the quality. Order a specialty pie like the Angry or Ivan Koloff but don't forget to add a dipping sauce or two. Our fav is the ranch and is perfectly creamy and flavorful to dip your crust in. It's a little pricy for pizza but you definitely get a higher quality pie than a regular pizza place. read more
