Gonna leave it the same but will add that I ended up with AA for 8 total years and it bums me out that I've moved to NYC and will have to find a new mechanic. Chad is probably the best mechanic I've had my entire life. (below is from 2013...) Moved from Walnut Creek to Concord looking for a new mechanic to help with replacing the battery on my Toyota Rav4. The 5-star reviews on Chad and his crew are legit. He fit me into his busy schedule since it was a quick fix. Personally, I think it's rare to find truly genuine caring service these days. Just a quick note to thank the crew at AA Automotive. Took in my 2007 Chevrolet Corvette for the typical oil pressure gauge problem where the gauge stays pegged wide open. I got the car back faster than promised, cheaper than was quoted, and I ran late picking up the car and they waited for me. What the hell? You would think this was the Twilight Zone or something. I met these guys handling an insurance claim on one of my customer's vehicles so I did not know them from Adam. My original meeting with this shop was an indicator these guys were better than average. I have to pay full price, get receipts, and all that good stuff or I can lose my job. No "Favors" or "Good guy" deals. Any shop that is busy enough that an appointment is sometimes necessary speaks for itself. I highly recommend this shop. read more

I had performed engine coolant and transmission fluid service at this location. Every single aspect of the service was handled very professionally - from the initial response to my service request to the car pickup. Chad provided the estimate, the price was better compared to several other estimates I got. Scheduled an appointment and everything was done accordingly with an initial estimate, even more! My car had been given a full inspection and I got the printout of recommended services for the car. At the pickup time, Chad went over details on the inspection list, explained all findings, how serious are they, and provided recommendations, but no pushy sales gimmicks!
