Today being October 2, 2024 Wednesday - I called this Smog Station to get a quote over the phone - for my specific vehicle total will be $ 48 with certificate. Edgar - very pleasant over the phone. I decided to take my vehicle there - one vehicle ahead of me - I waited appro 6 minutes- Edgar - was awesome . Inspection took appro 10 min with certificate in hand ! Check this place out ! ALL AMERICAN PLACE ! FLAG - EAGLE - Very Patriotic!!

Came in on Thursday and Saturday and this sign was still up. Now I can't get my free re-check of my smog test and have to pay for another one somewhere else.

I keep coming back because it is convenient and expedient. Came in with one person ahead of me. Asked if the coupon mention (automatic $30 off, just mention "the coupon") was a better deal than the $41 GroupOn. Apparently the GroupOn price is before the $8.25 certificate charge, so I was happy leaving with a receipt for $43. Ya, it's up a whole $5 over the past two years. (see older picture) They provided me with a printout that the vehicle had been smogged and told me that they were going to transmit it to the DMV electronically. Paid the DMV fees already so hopefully tags will show up in the mail soon.

Friendly employees and comparable prices. My vehicle failed the first time due to a hose not having a clamp and leaked. They suggested the fix and I went right over to Autozone spent $3 on a clamp and fixed it right up even had my young son replace it. Came back and passed right away. Also would like to mention their speed and efficiency of doing the checks. I went in middle of a Tuesday and my car was in and out.

I got the best service from David, the guy with a re white and blue mohawk! Dave was great in performing my smog check for 1999 Ford Explorer. The first come first serve was great. I drove up he took me right away and performed the inspection and passed. This place sucks. They're only after your quick buck! I had a smog check done here and they failed me because of a check engine light on, only after doing all the checks. (they could have told me the check engine lt. is on before doing the smog check) They have to do ALL the checks in order to charge you. (Not good business) They wouldn't honor a $10 off coupon because I had a light truck and coupon was for car. lt trucks and reg. cars are very similiar and smog checks are identical. They should honor coupons for light trucks. The lady wasn't very professional and due to language barrier couldn't understand her very well. Don't go here, you'll regret it! read more

Went into AA smog in Vacaville to get a smog as I have been a repeat customer for my 1992 Blazer. I was sent a email from AA smog that I would be charged 29.95 for the smog and a 20 evap fee but after going to the shop I was informed that the charge would be 79.95 for the smog. I showed him the email from That I received showing the charge of 29.95 but he would not honor the price so I left with the car. It was a waste of about a hour of my time and gas, I would not have gone there if they told me it was 79.95. read more

This place sucks they tryed to charge me an extra $30 bucks for the E-VAP test ( on older cars) they told me they have to charge extra to do it and that all the places do it......... WRONG i called two other places and they said that the EVAP test is free and dosent really take any more time there for they dont charge extra to do it..... hhhmmmm thats interesting because AA SMOG WANTS $30 extra bucks to do it....lol RIP OFF!!!!! I came here because I had the coupon. The coupon is half the price of the regular $60 smog check, however, if you don't pass the first time, you don't get a free retest if you use the coupon. The good news is I passed! The bad news is when I went to start my car, it wouldn't start. He told me to take it next door to the Muffler Store so I did. Came out to be a $400 job. Kind of a bummer that it happened after my smog check but The Muffler Store helped me out a lot. Just an honest review of my experience. 1 star because I passed smog. read more

The mechanics are all authentic and kind, the owner is beyond thoughtful. Not to be sexist but it is reassuring in a way to see two women there running the show. I'm fully aware that I'm prissy and grew up in a way that was always a matter of "pay" to fix car trouble. I don't know a carburetor from a Chrysler ha ha. Well I do, but the point is, I never feel swindled, they are honest, and treat each person like a valued customer. Called to make sure that walk ins were okay that day, which they were. It's located in a little industrial area. The worker greeted me to confirm I was in the right place. Invited me in to wait until it was my car's turn. The waiting room is modest, and has maybe 6 or so chairs. There were only 2 of us waiting at a time while I was there. Didn't take more than 10 minutes until it was my turn. Gave him my registration notice, filled out simple paperwork, paid about $58. Waited a couple of more minutes for my car to be tested. He showed me the results paper, said it was sent directly to the DMV, handed my keys back and I was on my way. Great in and out process, highly recommend.

This place deserves 10 stars! Stopped by AA Smog to have my 2005 Corvette smogged today. I was immediately welcomed as I walked in. While I was filling out the short work invoice, David brought my car into the shop and began working. I figured I'd be there at least 20-30 minutes, so I brought a sandwich to eat while I waited. Before I could finish half the sandwich, smog test was completed and car was pulled to front of building. The process literally took only 10 minutes. AA Smog provided friendly, quick service, had great rates and took very good care of my car while working on it. I highly recommend AA Smog. Thank you David for the excellent service. First time using AA Smog, I cant say enough good about my experience. From the phone call to inquire when I could get in. (Immediately!) I was greeted with such an upbeat attitude n quick appt. Then upon arrival, I was warmly greated by chimes n bells and the energetic n polite owner, James (what a great happy way to start a Monday) It took only 15 mins like they promised and was the best $$ deal in town n very centrally located. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked how my day was going. I was there to get a smog for my truck after looking on Yelp for best places.
