It was a quick and painless Tuesday morning taking care of my DMV registration and getting an insurance quote. AAA opens at 9am. I arrive at 8:55am and I'm the 10th person in line. Really? They open doors exactly at 9am. As we all walk in and talk to customer service, they send us to our appropriate spots or to just have a seat to be called. It took about 5 min before my name was called. Paid by check. Bada-bing, bada-boom. Just like that, received my new tag and I'm too see the next person with my insurance quote. Ten minutes with the insurance guy and I'm out the door. Now, I've been here on a Saturday morning as well at about the same time, except the lines are about 15-20 people deep! They do, however, keep the line moving and keep things as efficient as possible, but like all other places there are only certain things one can control. Like, they can't control the customer from asking a multitude of questions or if that same person is asking the questions in the wrong area. The person behind the desk just calmly and kindly directs you to someone else who can help you so that they can expedite the line and serve the next person. I really hate complaining about staff but unfortunately it needs to be said for the sake of other yelpers and for the business to improve. The lady that helped me today was incredibly rude. I guess she was new(er) and did not have much experience so maybe that's why she didn't smile and have any manners. Maybe it was because she was having a bad day... not sure but I know that that would have not been allowed with any of my past bosses. This is a customer service job. A little background--- I used to own 2 accords, one with tags expiring in March and one that expires in July-- So to make a long story short I placed March tags on the 'July' car and then promptly sold it. Ughhhhhhhhh! After spending a week watching the dmv wait lines I realized I could actually USE my aaa membership!!!! Staff onsite was understanding and told me some real horror stories regarding lost tags......I was in and out with new tags in about 20 mins ($22 to get a replacement), I would've been quicker but I got stuck looking at some actual road maps! Went in about 2:30 on Thursday got checked in and told to have a seat for about 5 minutes for DMV. Steven came over and greeted me, told me to meet him at his window very pleasant, I told him I needed to change a registration he was so very helpful and walked me through all the paperwork. Told me I needed to get a smog and put all my paperwork together stapled it and put it in an envelope, told me about what the fees would be so I could have monies ready for when I came back in to finalize the transfer of title on vehicle. I enjoy AAA but my "agent" Christian Rojas is a joke. Never get a hold of him. He doesn't return text or calls. He only called back to collect payment. And for some reason says I have to get renters insurance or else the policy won't work. I'm calling trying to make a payment and nothing comes up in the system. AAA is good. I requested my policy info to be sent and I spoke to the rep. She assured me the policy I of would be emailed in 5 min and it's been half a day and I still don't have it. Now I am asked to pick it up from the rep at a main branch. I closed my policy and opened at a new insurer instead. Policies were lower cost. Policy recvd quickly and service continues today after a year of this issue from AAA insurance. read more

Lady on the phone was helpful when I had to pay $22 fine for stolen tags and registration. So I will give it another star. When I came into the office, the guy helping me said "don't lose your tags." I informed him I can't lose something that wasn't sent to the right house. "The DMV mailed my tags to the wrong house. How can I lose something I never had? I'm never doing business with DMV for registration. I did it over the internet so I didn't have to pay a fine. Here I am. Paying a fine." The guy looks at his shoes. What did I say wrong? I don't need a lecture on not losing things. I hate the DMV. The gerrymandered me when I lived in the south, and lost my tags this year. I'm only doing business with AAA. AAA is refusing to take off her car and keeping my money hostage. The manager came up to one of her employees and scolded her for a tiny little thing I could have cared less about. The employee did amazing as she was operating the front desk at 10am today and had helped me update a few things on my account I needed to. I never appreciate when management treats their employees as if they aren't doing their jobs. Message to the manager here: You sat there, with an ugly attitude over her shoulder and didn't even acknowledge me as a customer/member. Get over yourself. Your employees are fantastic and if you don't think so, you should have never hired them, and if you're not responsible for hiring, tough-cookie. Located in Anaheim off Euclid and the 5 freeway near Party City. Offering it's own lot with plenty of parking, even on their busiest days. Open till 5:00 pm weekdays, and Saturdays at 1:00pm. Several services available here from DMV, car,life, home owners insurance, vacation planning, ect. After checking in, with a freiendly service clerk take a seat and people watch as you have one ear open listening for your name to be called. But, first, while checking in, ask for free tour books and maps of So Cal and Nor Cal. That way you can effectively plan your next road trip and know exactly where to stay and who to see. They have books on all states for free. This place is inconsistent. Sometimes it can be like waiting at the DMV to pay registration fees. Buuuuut some random days you can be in and out in minutes. Which is awesome. I think over the past year they have designated a special line just to cater to registration. The last time I went I was in and out in 5 minutes. The time before at least 30 minutes. I had a bad experience with their insurance, where after I had a claim, I was deemed to be a risk and was dropped just like that. The claim was not even my fault. This experience I just had exceeded all expectations I ever had of AAA. I got in at 3 min before they close and was done getting my tags at about 5 after. They were all very friendly and efficient. We came in here needing to get an international driving permit for our upcoming trips abroad. The process couldn't have been easier. All you needed was the application, your drivers license, two passport photos (which I believe you can get done there as well), and the fee. There was a short wait because we decided to come on a Saturday an hour before they were going to close. However, the wait was only about 10 minutes and we were out the door after another 10 minutes with the service agent, Pam. Thanks for the help! read more

My mom recently participated in the AAA Senior Program/Adult Skills Audit, just one of the many services offered nationwide to AAA members. In renewing her driver's license Mom was required to take a behind-the-wheel driving test, something she hasn't done since her early 20's. She recently had cataract surgery and tho' she had a clean bill of health from her surgeon and passed the DMV eye exam they wanted her to take a manual driving test. The examiner suggested she take a brush up course because over time we all form bad driving habits. As a member of the Automobile Club of Southern California she knew the Senior Audit program was available and immediately scheduled an audit. Her auditor, Russell, explained that he'd assess her driving based on DMV requirements and he'd point out any areas needing improvement. They hopped into a AAA Training vehicle, adjusted controls, and drove off for a 45 minute tour. She returned with a few notes . . . techniques to work on before taking the driving test. The Auto Club also offers extending Driver's Training for Seniors, and several Internet training tools. Good to know that robust seniors who want to continue driving have local resources to help retain their independence. read more

Rude. Discourteous. Complete Waste of Time. The DMV services here told me to come back and to get my registrations renewed here and when I came back they then called me a liar because even though I use these vehicles personally they couldn't help me because it was under a commercial insurance policy. I wouldn't have came in the first place if one of their own employees did not say it was ok so they wasted my time and entire lunch break. Their front desk worker got approval only to have another worker bounce me around to get approval again from the same manager who then either changed her mind or decided I was lying about using my vehicles for personal use citing a policy that they never mentioned before. The front desk person was rude when I walked in and the manager even ruder. I will never come back to this location for any of their services as it is a poor way to treat a 32 year member of AAA. Every other location I have gone to have been professional and kind it's only this one that I have ever experienced such poor customer service. read more

Love this place! Convenient to get into with ample parking. Nearby in my usual direction of travel for errands. Reasonable hours of business including Saturday mornings even during Covid, if really busy I may have to wait a bit outside but it's always quicker than DMV waits for those services. It's a bit smaller lobby area than some other AAA offices yet it's usually staffed well for most popular transactions so once in transactions are quickly done in a few short minutes by courteous employees. read more

So i got Tripple A few months ago and the membership has paid itself over and over again! I have done DMV paperwork here a few times and i've been lucky enough to get Pam, she is an amazing and goes above and beyond. She's walked me through the process of registering my vehicle under my name and she does it with the best attitude. The lady at the check in (has a weird name, speaks Spanish and looks Cuban) is also amazing, i walked in on a Saturday at 1:50, 10 minutes before they close and she helped me upgrade my membership, she was very happy to do it, she went through the different benefits and explained EVERYTHING!!!! Lastly, Isabel Green the Travel agent. She booked our Carnival Cruise set for April, she has done everything in her power to make it easy on me, she knows that she's talking about and she too does it with the best attitude, she's extremely professional and helpful, i trulls give her 10 stars.
