And to top it off they post pictures of lamborghinis and other high end sports cars as click bait. Slimeball tactics to the hilt. If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would. After they "professionally" installed a BASIC sub into my Caddy, my battery kept dying. Why? Because they don't know what they are doing. I had to pay for a new battery (and now reprogram EVERYTHING), labor, and repairs for the damages. Everything they installed was put in with electrical tape...ummm, hack job much??? I've been looking for a reputable place to install a car alarm to my truck. Of course I went to my go to source "Yelp". I just happened to stumble across AAA Car Stereo in Oakland on the list. This place had great reviews and so I took my chance. I walked in the shop and was greeted by a guard dog that was doing his job. And then a gentleman walks in and introduced himself as Ray. Ray apparently is the owner of this shop. He was very knowledgeable of what I needed. Nothing too fancy, just enough to ward off thieves. Ray said that he would be able to fit me in and it would take a few hours. I left my truck with him and went to browse a few stores in the area. Got a call from Ray a few hours later and the technician finished installing my car alarm. The tech gave me a brief tutorial of the alarm system and I was quite impressed that it met my needs. I recommend you do a price check before you buy anything from this place. I bought some Cerwin Vega subs for $150. each. Later I looked them up on the Manufacture website where they are being sold at $70 each. The owner treated me poorly when I consulted him about this, then treated me like I was dumb, followed by hanging up on me. The installer was drunk and forgot to mount my subs down in my box, I had to point it out to him. They also charged me $40 for an RCA converter that I just seen at the flea market for $10. read more

PLEASE BEWARE This place takes advantage of senior citizens. They sold my mother a $51.00 car stereo for $300.00. They didn't even have the common courtesy to clean up after they insulted the cheap car stereo. They left wires and plastic all in my mothers car. I wish my mother would have told me before she made the purchase and trusted these crooks and had it insulted. Its a basic pioneer stereo with a CD player that's it no Bluetooth nothing at all just basic. I looked up the stock number from Wal-Mart to Amazon and so on, this basic stereo is $51.00. So if you are a senior or you have a parent or love one that is a senior please be aware of AAA car Stereos. They are crooks. I will be contacting the BBB and file a formal complaint. . read more

Terrible service. Last time i came they said my amp didnt work so i needed to buy a new one and i spent $150-$175 for a whole new amp plus they installed it with my stereo that i brought. I called yesterday and today and both times i got no answer they sent me a text saying they can install everything for $39 when i arrive he says its $150 to install everything he said the $39 is just a payment. Theyre giving out poor information and should maybe answer the phone when people call or atleast clarify things in the text they send. read more

An unlikely ride with a Lyft driver lead me to give this place a try after being told by other places that a scooter is too small for a big sound system or really any sound system at all. The Lyft driver told me these guys can do anything and he was more than right! This place ended up being amazing and for me is the Nordtrom of sound systems for my bike!! I have a Suzuki Burgman that now plays music louder and clearer than the Harley's I pass by on the road! Lets get started with the review! 1.) The level of customer service- Ray(The owner) is so kind, professional, creative, friendly, commited, and very honest. There are not too many places where you literally feel like youre at your own family's shop. The way Ray treated me was as though I was his own daughter and it was Christmas! He made sure to suggest the very best system with the very best deal! I really cant say enough, you just have to come here and you will never go anywhere else! 2.) The Engineer Benny- This is the guy who installed the system and he was very kind, honest, professional, creative, and fast! When I told him what I imagined, together, he and Ray suggested the perfect system for my bike. Even the way he made the cuts were very neat like the speakers already came with the bike. Benny went above and beyond to deliver the very best crisp and clear sound! 3.) The Services- Simply Amazing! I get so many compliments on my sound system and people cannot believe that I got all this going on on a scooter! Even the way the speakers look are so clean and stylish! Its like Im now a DJ on wheels gor the entire block, lol! Trust me if you come here YOU WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Disappointing experience. I called a month before I came in and got a $150 quote for a keyless alarm system. When I got there the price was now $180, which the sales rep adjusted back after calling his boss who gave him an ok. Then there was the rejection of the Yelp voucher they were selling that gave you a discount on your purchase. The explanation was it was for buying a stereo, which was not posted on the offer at all on Yelp. I left with a new alarm but also feeling hustled. read more
