These days, it's more like a three week book out, which must mean business is good. For this particular visit, we had several mileage maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. We were given a list by the Ford Dealership, and we brought that in for a quote with Cedar Crest Tire. The Ford Dealership also noted that we had evidence of an engine oil leak. I made the appointment at the beginning of July, and I got in on July 20th. They have a key drop box that we were able to use and leave the vehicle there the weekend prior. I got a call on Tuesday afternoon that my vehicle was ready for pick up. On my way into town, I swung by to pay the bill and get the key. I know that they have a ride service available, but I hoped by daughter would help me with the ride. We looked over the invoice and didn't see anything addressing the engine oil leak. He got a hold of the technician, and he said there was no evidence of a leak. Before bringing in the vehicle, I did call back to add an emissions service to the list of items, and that one was overlooked, but I wasn't billed for it either. I feel like my correspondence with them have always been professional, and my vehicles have always been repaired.

My mother's SUV had serious hesitation on acceleration and idle issues but no check lights. We needed a shop to do some live diagnostics. ADeal took on the challenge. They were able to find a problem with the radiator. It was about to fail with large hidden corrosion and a small leak. The A/C compressor was engaging and disengaging extremely rapidly which was a drain on the electrical/charging system. That problem came from another hidden problem, a previously improper install of the low side A/C aluminum line. After the diagnosis, they made an accurate estimate for work hours and parts. They were able to source some hard to find parts in town quickly. It could have been a catastrophic and very expensive failure of the cooling and/or A/C systems if mom was out in the middle of the Navajo reservation without help. The SUV will require more work and we'll bring back to ADeal for honest professional repair. Cheers for the guys at ADeal.

The the radiator wasn't flushed right and the car started to overheat. We were almost stranded but a local mechanic later helped out and attached the skid plate and got the excess air out of the radiator. A month later the thermostat blew and the cause was the radiator wasn't flushed right. Advoid this place their bad news.

The mechanic kind of begrudgingly did, but he did it quickly and then honestly told me what the issue was, reset the code and sent me on my way. $0 dollars. Old town automotive should be avoided at all costs. Not trustworthy. I asked them if they could quickly check the code. She told me how much a full diagnostic was ($200) I should have left then. After the "full diagnostic" When I asked if they would charge me a "partial diagnostic" she said no. I asked for the Yelp check in discount $10 or $20 maybe? no. AAA discount ? No. After asking if the was anything she could do to help me out she finally caved and gave me the aaa discount because she "doesn't even subscribe to Yelp and can't understand them on the phone half the time." I don't know if it's worth noting... THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS BECAUSE OF YELP, It was 10 or $20 discount and they were already ripping me off... I regret letting my anxiety get the better of me at the start of the trip. This situation was easily avoidable. I should have just left. Still waiting for that full diagnosis btw. Boo this garage.

This is a very honest business that doesn't try to Price gouge (take it from someone who received many, many quotes). They did a fantastic job on rebuilding my suspension, replacing my CV axles, and putting in new front and rear brakes, among other work. Seriously, I couldn't believe the night and day difference before and after I had the work done. It was like I was driving a new car. They officially have a customer for life (or at least, as long as I'll be in Albuquerque). I highly recommend them for your auto servicing needs.

The only thing I know they did was the oil change requested-- for the rest of my work order I have no idea. Not to mention-- my brakes were replaced and there is now damage to my passenger side front bumper, and so much plastic sticks out into my wheel well that it has been scraping and damaging my wheel! I am a student-- i did not need even more problems to my car than what I started with. I even called back to let them know what work had not been completed-- it has been a week and I have heard NOTHING back. Please get organized y'all, and do what was promised!
