I had a coupon for an oil change, so I made an appointment and brought my car in. I was greeted kindly and they immediately took my car back to start working on it. There were several other customers in the waiting room (which was clean and had a TV, magazines, PHONE CHARGERS (what?!), and a kids area. The oil change took them an hour to complete, even though I made an appointment, but they were pretty busy. I had a good experience, despite the hour wait. Can't really complain when my oil change cost $6! read more

I have been AAA member for 30 years every decade I have seen the quality of service decrease yesterday I called and asked for battery service was told battery service is not available in your area. You'd have to tow your car so I asked for a tow three hours later still nothing and no updates. This is the worst possible service anybody could give you. I will give up my membership and I will pay my insurance for roadside assistance but these people take your money and offer you absolutely nothing. This is not your grandfather AAA. This is my second time here since they opened a few years ago. I had an 11:30 AM appointment for an oil change. I arrived early as I finished my previous appointment early. I left the shop at 2:00 PM. How does it take almost three hours for an oil change? I'm not sure if they rotated the tires because of a tire key (I wasn't in the mood to tell them how to find it). I am a memebr of AAA. My vehicle had a breakdown. They recommended this AAA repair center. I was told by Bill, who happens to be the manager, that I had 4 crack HVAC hoses on my vehicle. The cost of the repairs would be $1,954.14. I approved for them to do the repairs. I called back later to ask if they started working on the vehicle, and I was told no, they were still waiting on the parts to get in. I asked if they could cancel the approval to do the repairs to get a second opinion. I was told by the representative who answered the call that I still have to pay for the diagnostic test, which I was fully aware of. He stated Bill had left for the day and would have him to call me first thing in the morning. I asked why I needed to speak to Bill. I just want to cancel. I was okay. When are u going to pick it up? It was due to the time I had to wait till the morning to pick up the vehicle. I made it to the location as soon as it was open. I spoke with Bill and told him I was here to pay the diagnostic and pick my vehicle up. He charged me the diagnostic fee that had me sign to receipts. I was walking out the door, and I noticed that the diagnostic report wasn't listed on any of the paperwork. I asked Bill for the report. He say "oh here you go." How do your forget to provide the report this is what paid for. At the end of the day, I took my vehicle for a 2nd opinion and was told there was one crack line cap needed to replace that only cost me $240, not $1,914.54. I went back and asked why they were trying to overcharge me. Bill responded very nonchalant, " Well, I told my staff that if the other line and the back were not broken, then take it off," which is not what he told me to begin with. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. I will be following up with other agencies Illinois Attorney General, BACP AND BBB to file a complaint in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Took my vehicle for a oil change. Had a appointment for 10am. Upon arrival request for my Cabin air filter be change. A full oil change consists of 6 quarts of motor oil, standard filter, free tire rotation. Mind you I stayed and waited for my vehicle. Took a hour and a half. Watch the technician bring in my keys and paperwork to the person at the front desk after completion. Waited patiently to be call to pay and leave! Didn't happen had to walk up to the front desk on my own. Mind you no one was being waited on! Still had to go on my own without being call up to retrieve my vehicle. Paid, got my receipt and left. While driving on my way to work something told me to look at my receipt. They didn't change my cabin air filter like I asked upon arrival. So I call them. Oh Ms. Evans we are very sorry but we didn't have it in stocks and the technician go side track and forgot to tell you. Really! But we can order you one and you can bring it back. How much $99 for the filter!! Didn't pay that much for the oil change!! No thanks Went to Jiffy Lube $35 to change my cabin air filter. On top of that a week and a half goes by my tire pressure light comes on. The system states it's the passenger rear tire that needs air. Stop and put air in the tire. Tire pressure light doesn't go off. Come to find out AAA ROTATED MY TIRES BUT DIDN'T CALIBER THE SYSTEM! SO TECHNICAL IT WAS MY PASSENGER FRONT TIRE THAT REALLY NEEDED AIR!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS AAA EVER AGAIN!! read more

I went to this location because I received a coupon stating my oil change will be $15 the oil change was not $15 I ended up having to pay $20 over that also my car literally sat in the air for about 30 to 45 minutes without being serviced. I called customer service they said it was nothing they could do. They didn't rotate my tires as the coupon advertises . It took my Acura MDX to have an oil change & wiper blades replaced. I had received an email from them indicating I was due for 120.000 check up on a list of important areas. To my surprize none ot the itemes on thieir list was checked by the mechanic. Thieir response was that I didin't mention those items when I brought my car in, and that the email was from corporate not their specific location. Very disappointed and will contact corporate to inform them of thier lack of coordiantion between their email and their service departments. read more

I had been getting coupons mailed for years & finally decided to give it a shot. Had my daughter drop her car off for an oil change, tire rotation and just a brake inspection and was informed to not expect it to be done for 4-5 hours. OK, we went on about our day. She received a call couple of hours later saying her car had structural damage and frame was twisted & it needed to go to a body shop, and an alignment couldn't be performed. I took the phone and told Eugene, she never asked for an alignment. After returning to retrieve the vehicle, I don't see any mention of the brake inspection. The receipt literally has a line item for the technician to mark the percentage of pad usage. After several minutes of back and forth of me questioning why that wasn't filled out, I was informed that they never fill that out and re-iterated that the brakes were not in the red. And again I need to take it to a frame straightening mechanic?!?! That had nothing to do with brake wear. Don't think I will be going back or recommending, not a great 1st impression. read more

Hi Tay, thanks for responding in a timely manner. After I left your establishment, I found a little "hole in the wall" auto place that would install the headlight bulbs without having to buy them from them. They just told me to keep the receipt just in case. No problem. It took them 30 mins to do the job, as the headlights are reached by going underneath the wheel well. I didn't feel welcome at your place. 2 out the 3 people working at the counter really acted as if they didn't want to be there! But the young lady was very cheerful. I only wish I got their names, but I left disgusted and frustrated over a simple fix that I was willing to wait several hours for. Now I've had work done there in the past. I had a tire repaired. The service was awesome and quick. The young lady that wrote the work order was very professional. That's what made me come back.... CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

So if you just need a flat tire fixed DO NOT bring it here. I understand its 1st come 1st serve BUT to pull a nail out a screw and plug a tire does not take 1 hour 1/2 waiting time. You should tell the customer an estimated time. Well they don't and come on, if your doing some major work on a car and you see that you have a car that just needs a flat fixed, common sense would say let me knock this one out right away. The worst. My gear shift and steering wheel seized up and the car wouldn't start. AAA towed it to this car care center. I paid almost $700 for them to fix it and the day I picked it up it happened again. I did get it in gear and then only a few hours later the car completely died on the expressway in the middle of rush hour. Once again the car was towed to Evergreen Park. This morning they called me and said the car had mechanical engine problems that only a dealership could handle and repair. They are refusing to refund my money because they said they fixed the original problem and what's going on with the engine has nothing to do with that. This seems like a convenient way of getting out of having to refund my money. Either that or a helluva coincidence. Now I have to have the car towed again, this time to a dealership in a distant suburb which I have no way of getting to. Maybe this place knows how to do oil changes and tire rotation but I would not trust them to do anything more than that. They are incompetent crooks. read more

My car was recently towed to this AAA facility. Unfortunately my 15 year old truck was beyond repair. ( No actual repair i gave it 4 stars) So I can't comment on the actual repair service. However Brenda , Nicole and the rest of the staff were amazing. They understood my concerns and worked with me so I could feel at ease They were extremely nice and courteous. Had coupon for free oil change. Went to the new and friendly Center in Evergreen Park. However I was given the wrong size replacement wipers when I inquired if I could get new ones. I explained that normally they have to be ordered, but was told that they had the size what goes on my old car. However they turned out to be the wrong size, loud and squeaky every time I have to use them. I will not go back for service there because I do not trust them to use correct parts. read more

First, let me say that I LOVE being an AAA Member. They've helped me out of a jam or two with car troubles, and for that, I am grateful. I made an appointment for an oil change at 7:30 am (first appointment of the day) this morning. I got there a bit early, but they opened right on time and told me my car would be taken care of immediately. I had a coupon for $23.99 for an oil change and tire rotation. Great deal!. An hour later (!!) they finally came out to me and said the car was ready to go. They gave me a list of the systems checked and what might need service. All good. Then, I asked about the tire rotation, and the gentleman said it had not been done because he didn't know I wanted it! I gave him the coupon for an oil change and tire rotation, mentioned BOTH to him, he answered me a the time, and then it wasn't done. In an hour of working on my car, only the oil change had been done, which struck me as a long time for an oil change! Anyway, they finally pulled my car back in and did the tire rotation. That process took another 20 minutes. I'll probably try them again. They're in the neighborhood, I think they're relatively new and maybe have to work out some bugs, and I respect AAA for everything else. So I think that warrants one more shot in 3 months. We'll see. The place was clean, and the person I dealt with was polite, but . . . we'll see. read more

Soooooooo let me tell you guys about my experience with this particular service facility- it started out with me calling AAA for a simple tow to my dealership's service center due to some problems making my vehicle inoperable. When the tow truck driver arrived he suggested this place instead of my dealership because it would save me money on diagnosis, parts and labor. So I canceled my appointment with my service dept and had him take the car to Evergreen Park Car Care Plus. This was a Tuesday. I was told that I would receive a call from the facility upon receipt of my car. I waited hours and no call, finally I called them and spoke to a woman named Nicole who told me that the person who does diagnostic testing had a heavy load that day and was off the next day so there was no guarantee he'd be able to get to my car before the end of the day. She said that he'd be in on that following Thursday, and that she'd have information about the problems with my car by Friday at the latest. Seemed like a long time to wait for a diagnosis, but I didn't mind waiting until Friday (I mean, they're saving me money so I'll wait a couple days). Friday came- no call. I waited until Monday, thinking perhaps the mechanic came back to a ton of work and got delayed (I'm a reasonable person). Monday I called to check on the status, spoke to a woman named Brenda (pretty sure that was her name) who initially told me that my vehicle needed a smoke test (whatever that is) but the smoke testing machine unfortunately was out for service......so at this point I'm realizing this is not a good start to a business relationship and because I've been dragged around by auto shops before, I decided to have my vehicle towed from there to my original destination- my dealership's service center. Brenda was nice and assured me that there would be no cost since no service was done. Fine. I had just dialed the customer service number for AAA to request another tow, when Brenda called me back. She then tells me "I spoke with Nicole, who you talked to last week, and she says she called you over the weekend and 'some young lady' answered and she gave her all of the information regarding your car and the mechanic recommendations"....... At this point I'm confused! "Ma'am NO ONE has called me, no one has talked to me about my car until I spoke with you a few minutes ago. And there is no 'young lady' in my home or that would have been around me at all this past weekend, what's going on?" Nicole also claimed that a man stopped by the shop and she explained to him as well. WHAT YOUNG MAN? Who are these people she's claiming to have spoken to??? Why would I lie about not getting the information? I'm trying to get my vehicle serviced! Of course by this point I'm upset, because NICOLE is flat out lying to save face after failing to follow up. She made up a young woman, and added an imaginary man and confirmed that it was MY phone number and MY car the "strange man" came to check on. After some serious back and forth between Brenda and I about Nicole, I decided that I had experienced wayyy to many red flags to trust anything from anyone at this facility. (1st red flag- no call when car was received. 2nd- no call back on Friday when promised. 3rd- still no diagnosis when calling MONDAY. And 4th- the flat out lies!) I immediately removed my vehicle from this place, wasted a week of my time and now I'm back at square one- waiting for an appointment with my dealership. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received, but I'm glad that I found out BEFORE they did any work. Dishonest people, please beware before taking your car there. I will commend Brenda for being so nice even when I was blowing my top (she's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1), but Nicole is definitely to blame for her lack of follow up, poor service and flat out LYING when she dropped the ball. So this place closes at 4pm. I come walking in needing an oil change at 3pm. Some guy comes up to me and says, " I don't know if they'll take you, we stopped taking walk ins at 2pm, you may need an appointment." I've never made an appointment for an oil change and I don't plan on starting that nonsense today. So I tell the guy, "So, you guys don't feel like doing the work that's fine." I don't want a disgruntled mechanic anywhere near my car. So I took my car to Mancaris like I always had and got a better deal. This guy turned away good business. I decided to try this location out because I had a coupon. I made an appointment for a 9:30 am oil change on a Thursday. I arrived a little before 9:30 am. I went to check on my car at 10:30 am, and it had not been serviced yet. They told me that two cars were ahead of me, even though I had a 9:30 appointment. The customer service here is off the chain! Lost my power steering on a Saturday morning and was able to get to them with no incidents. They make sure you know up front if they will be able to get to you so you're not wasting your time waiting. After it was determined they couldn't repair and it needed to go to a dealer, a dealer was suggested which was close, and they let me know as an AAA customer, my tow would be free. A very harrowing experience (driving w/manual steering) was met with the friendliest, courteous, and extremely helpful team. I hate that I didn't get their names but the team was there on 10/12/19. Very nice staff, very clean BUT TWICE I took my car there for an oil change and tire rotation (which was stated on the coupon) AND my husband told them to rotate the tires and they didn't do it! Used AAA at Evergreen Park for the first time last week and I could not have been pleased. Needed an oil change and multi point inspection for my 2015 Prius. Made an appointment about a week in advance. Staff were courteous, friendly and attentive. Work was done in a timely fashion. Waiting area is very clean and comfortable with excellent restroom facilities. Though I did not use other services (travel planning, insurance, etc), the layout and staffing of the facility was organized, clean, and welcoming. Definitely recommend! read more

I live within walking distance of this establishment, but continued to make the drive to my guys over at Mobile Plus on Cicero (always great service!) for basic services e.g. oil changes, filters, etc. I was in a bind last week (a Thurs morning) with tire light on and decided to give AAA a try. The worst! There were no less than 4 guys standing around doing Nothing, talking to each other, not a customer in sight. I asked them about getting air for my tires and they pointed me to the air machine. Hmm ok, I guess, but usually other shops will do it for you (& I Always tip). I tried to do it myself, they watched me struggle and Noone offered to help. I then walked over and asked if someone could help me as I was letting air out of the tires instead of adding (yes, I get it, I should know how to do this, but I don't) & 1 guy, looked at me furrowed eyebrows & said, you need to do it yourself & went back to chatting with his coworker. Seriously?? My parents have paid for premium AAA coverage, family plan, for years! I started towards my car to drive to Mobile. A different employee (older black guy) walked up and graciously showed me how to properly use the machine. I still will Never go back there! read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I Stopped in to get an estimate on some issues I was having with my brakes. Was told I needed a complete brake overhaul to the tune of almost $1000. Decided to get a 2nd opinion. Needless to say I did not need a complete overhaul and paid 1/4 of what the "salesman" at AAA EPCCP quoted me for unnecessary parts and labor. My car broke down one cold night in January and AAA towed it here. By 7:40 the next morning I had received a call from Brenda as to what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix( starter). I agreed to the charges(extremely reasonable and I had my car back by 11am. Totally out of the ordinary for me. I usually had to leave my car for several days even with an appointment at my old place. Anyway a few weeks later my Check Engine light came on so I took it back to this place. Again I was quoted a very reasonable cost and the work was done in a few hours and my car(2003) ran like a new car(needed a tuneup). Last weekend my Check Engine light came in and I immediately took it back. They ran it through the diagnostics twice , adjusted some settings and took it for a drive. Light is off, car working well and NO CHARGE, not even for the diagnostics. This place is great. The staff are kind and caring and know what they are doing. Oh and as a AAA member you get a discount and guarantee. Who does that these days. Give them a try. I'm telling anyone who will listen how good this shop is. read more

I had a really great experience from the time I called AAA for road side assistance, to the towing of my vehicle, to them bringing it to this destination to be fixed.
