We had a shitty service with them. On the way to the airport, the driver was no help loading the bags (keep in mind the client who was overseeing the bags being loaded was handicapped and using a cane.) The guy asked for his tip directly, which I have no problem with, only to find out his tip was included in the original price. While on the trip in another country, we did not receive any responses to our emails. The main client died while on the trip. His daughter (while also dealing with everything that comes from someone dying on foreign soil) tried reaching out to get information about the pickup multiple times. Since she never got an answer about pickup (until the flight came in), payment or anything else, she also tipped the driver directly. We then received an invoice a few days later that included gratuity. Throughout the time, the main contact was extremely unhelpful and didn't even offer condolences until after payment went through. However, I will say the driver for pickup at the airport was patient when dealing with the long wait as we dealt with something at the airport. Of course, if the main contact had answered any of our inquiries earlier, we could have warned him in advance about the wait. read more

Sadly, I cannot recommend this business - which is a shame because I like the owner. But the drivers he employs are terrible. We have used them on several occasions, and each time we were in fear for our lives. The driving is terrible as is the service. The drivers are distracted, looking at their phones, unable to stay in their own lane, did not look at traffic reports so they knew to get places ahead of time, and have almost driven into the center dividers numerous times. I don't think I've ever used a limo service where I've been in fear of my life. I do not recommend this service. read more

Recently, I had booked a ride but had to cancel at the very last minute. I was not charged anything for the late cancellation. I booked Galaxy for a Aug. 20 bachelor party, and after reading reviews and comparing prices. They promised three bottles of alcohol, which was great. Everything seemed legit, and we were ready to go. We were picked up on time, paid and were on our way. Well, we noticed the three bottles (gin, vodka and whiskey), but the whiskey was half gone. And there was no ice. I called the owner to simply ask if we could get a full bottle and some ice, and was blown away by the response: "When we told you we'd provide three bottles, we didn't say they would be full. What you see is what you get. If you don't like it, leave the limo there." I just couldn't believe it. The driver did get us ice (the driver was cool the whole night). We just made the best of the situation, and enjoyed our night. But for those who plan on booking something similar, and are coming from out of town, be warned. read more

Been a Galaxy client since 2007 and I travel a lot from LA and always use them for my airport trips. I guess some of these other reviews had some very rare negative experiences because I have never had a problem. Their drivers are always on time or early and very courteous. Steve, the owner has always been up front with me about prices and I've never had any nasty surprises with them. Nothing bad to say, really, sorry these others seem to have had a bad time, but maybe it was the result of Galaxy being overbooked and their rides got farmed out to another carrier? This one star review is in response to the poor service we received from Galaxy Limo. My wife and I used Galaxy a number of years ago and we were very happy with the airport Town Car service. I recommended Galaxy to my parents and they were happy as well when they used them a few years ago. About 2 weeks ago, my wife scheduled transportation to and from LAX on different dates. When my wife called to make the arrangements, she was told that she would receive an email confirmation for both dates. She only received one. She called back and asked for the confirmation for our return trip and she never received one. She was pretty upset so I called and spoke to Steve. He stated that he would send the confirmation a few days before picking us up at LAX. Our departure pick up went off w/o any problems. The driver, who I believe may have been Steve the owner, picked us up at our house right on time and he got us to LAX quickly in a nice Suburban. We left my sons booster seat with him as we were not going to need it since we rented a car with one. The deal with Galaxy was that they would hold the booster seat at their office and then bring the booster seat upon picking us up at LAX. This was per Steve the owner. On the last day of our trip, my wife realized that she still hadn't received an email from Galaxy, so I called to verify that we would be picked up on 06/22/2015 at LAX. When I called, Steve answered and he claimed that he did not have a reservation for us. Right then and there I made the reservation. I gave him all the flight info including the date of 06/22/2015 He repeated to me all the info including the pick up date of 06/22/2015 After about 10 hours of layovers and flights, we landed at LAX on 06/22/2015 and Galaxy was nowhere to be found. We waited about 20 minutes, and after not receiving a call from Galaxy we decided to call them. I called and there was no answer. My wife called and left a voice mail. After some time, Steve called my wife back. After she inquired about his whereabouts, he stated that our reservation was for the following day 06/23/2015 He stated that's what I told him the day before which is total BS. My wife was in the room when I made the reservation and she clearly heard me say 06/22/2015 Steve was very rude to my wife. He argued with her at 0145 am and even had the balls to tell her that what we had was a booster seat not a car seat. Not once did he apologize or offer to pick us up. He promised to return our sons booster seat the next day which he did not. He only returned it after my wife gave him 24 hrs. to do so. We should have been home by about 0130 am max and instead got home at almost 0300 am. We ended up taking a taxi and the driver was very professional and his Prius was spotless. Also, the ride costed about $50.00 less and that's including a generous tip. Next time we'll take a taxi. On a side note: When Steve took us to LAX, he both talked with the cell phone to his ear and texted while driving. Not a huge deal, but I thought I'd mention it since it's illegal. read more

Contacted Steve, the owner, via email to book a car service with 2 pick up locations with a drop-off in Hollywood, and then a return pick up from Hollywood to our 2 original pick up locations. He quoted me a price for a towncar and a limo, and I decided on the towncar as there were only 2 of us, and when I asked how many hours we would be charged for, he stated that he would not charge by the hour, it would be a flat rate + 20% gratuity. NOT ONCE did he mention that the rate was for EACH WAY!! We would just agree on a return pick up time, or call the driver when we were ready to return home. Imagine our surprise when we were dropped off in Hollywood, and the driver had in writing to collect the agreed upon amount for EACH WAY!! Needless to say, this was very upsetting. The driver got Steve on the phone with me, and although I acknowledged that there was miscommunication on BOTH of our parts, he would not agree to the amount we had been expecting to pay. So, we were basically stranded in Hollywood with no transportation home. I then emailed Steve, and tried to get him to save my future business with him, and do right by his customers, but the only response I received was - "I am so sorry". So, instead of honoring the amount, or accepting any responsibility for his part of the miscommunication - and I just LOVE that he made sure the driver knew it was EACH WAY.....if he had of said that just ONCE in our correspondence, this would not have happened. I could have used another company whose fare was only slightly higher for ROUNDTRIP, but I decided to use Steve as I was already a past customer. Instead, I was embarrassed in front of my friend, and we had to find an alternate way home. I guess the phrase "the customer is always right" just doesn't exist anymore....at least not at AAA Galaxy Sedan!! read more
