I had to arrange last-minute travel for a family member who had an extremely early flight at LAX. The ride was from Tarzana, and the pickup was at 4:45 am. I had to arrange this the night before at about 9 pm. I chose Black Car Connection based on the Yelp reviews. It's a bit nerve-wracking to choose a private car service to arrive in darkness for a family member traveling alone when you haven't used the service before, but in this case, I was extremely fortunate. Steve answered the phone himself when I called. In the past, I've sometimes been fooled by intermediaries who pretend to be local businesses but then farm out the work, but this is not one of those. It's a genuine local business in the Valley and very responsive. Steve asked me to wait a few minutes because he couldn't do the drive himself and he needed to make sure that one of the other drivers was available for such an early pick-up. He called me back within five minutes and said that Brian would be doing the pick-up, and that the car would be a new model Volvo. Everything went perfectly. Brian was prompt and very nice about everything. My family member made their flight, and I was very glad to have found a car service like this in the Valley. I'll definitely use them again and wanted to make sure I added to their excellent Yelp reviews. I hope they stay in business for a long time! read more

We have been looking for a reliable company to use for getting us to and from the airport, cruise ships and social events and I finally found it. Black car connection drivers were on time, polite and helpful with our luggage. For this trip, I used them to take us to the airport and pick us up. Ari picked us up at 5:30 am with a smile on his face, helped with loading our luggage in their suv. Car was clean and the service was great. Steven picked us up at the airport and I need to give him extra kudos due to an overnight delay in getting home. Our plane was originally to come in Saturday evening at 8:30 pm so he was at the airport waiting. The plane had mechanical problems so we actually didn't get in until 1:30 pm Sunday ( after multiple changes in time of arrival). During this time Steven & Black Car stayed in contact with us and assured us they'd still pick us up regardless of our delay. It was nice to know we didn't need to worry about getting home and put our minds at ease. The arrival time kept changing but Steven was there picking us welcoming us home. Bill was so great to deal with on the phone, he's professional yet caring, especially when my card from the EU wouldn't go though, he was very patient. As a female travelling alone I felt as though he dealt with the situation really well and put me completely at ease! When the car showed up (4:30am to go to LAX), Daniel was 10 minutes early, which I was so grateful for despite it being the middle of the night! He texted me when he left to collect me, and again when he was outside. This was our first time using the Black Car Connection to and from LAX. The service was outstanding! It was easy to obtain a quote, with very fast response times, teach reservation was always documented in pdf form, it was easy to make changes, and communication was excellent, starting with a text reminder the day before, when the driver was leaving, when the driver had arrived, and the driver's telephone number, plus receipts for the reservations. Our driver for both trips was Ruben! He was very professional, cordial, on time, and our rides were very pleasant. At LAX, he met us in baggage claim and we never had a worry after that. Excellent service, streamlined pickup from LAX, there was a text waiting for me when I landed, contacted Aldik, picked up my luggage, met him curbside in minutes. Car was spotless, comfortable, luxurious and best of all had room for my 5 suitcases! Water and hand sanitizer at the ready and best of all- my driver Aldik (spell check?) is a lovely teddy bear of a man, we had a great chat on the way home, he even helped me bring my luggage right to my front door. This was the first time I had the opportunity to use a car service. My sister, her husband and I were traveling to Europe and were scheduled to fly out of LAX. We had decided we did not want to leave a car at the airport and after reaching out to a number of car services I chose Black Car Connection. Their professionalism and courteous manner and their quick response to questions I had asked was greatly appreciated. We had requested a pick up time of 4:30 am the morning of our departure and the driver was very prompt and the driver for our pick on our return had reached out to us to confirm our terminal so he could be there to pick us up.
