OK, this is in part in response to the other reviews--which seem a bit unfair to me. Yes, the place…read moreis hard to find. Yes, they have weird hours. Yes, the owner could be friendlier and more helpful. Yes, the prices are a bit marked up. BUT, at least the place exists. If you or someone you love is in need of some of these supplies in order to stay at home after an injury or due to old age, then this place is great to have nearby. Sure, you can order most of this stuff online for cheaper, but here you can look around and actually hold the supplies before spending money on them. And you may see other things that would be helpful as well. As far as returns, I bought a basket for a walker that didn't work out and had no problem returning it (exchanged it actually). I hope this place stays in business, because caring for an elderly neighbor is going to have me coming back, I'm sure.

There is no up to date Point of Sale system. They literally wrote my credit card number down on a post-it. Rental was broken- We rented a scooter for my husband who broke his foot. The scooter was broken and welded back together. The clerk didn't know how the scooter folded up (to fit in a car) and had no interest in helping me figure it out. Difficult to return equipment- Odd office hours. I was charged extra because I couldn't get by when they were open to return the scooter. When the clerk called on the last day of the rental, I told her I had tried to return it and the store was closed (during normal business hours) and I was met with attitude and additional charges.

This place doesn't need one star! I don't know how they stay in business. They don't care about the…read morepatients. The doctor is behind on reviewing paperwork. They are unable to tell how behind the doctor is in reviewing documents. It would have been nice they would have just called let me know what was going on. They can't tell me when I going to get my NEW CPAP machine. My machine's motor (8 years old) is dead, and they expect me to continue to use it. NOW I'm between a rock and hard place if I go to another center.

The home test is just a scam to charge you more money. They can't really tell much from it because…read morethey can't tell if I'm asleep or not, and the home test device came off my face several times during the night so whatever information they supposedly got about my breathing was greatly skewed. (Note: my wife is a nurse practitioner with extensive knowledge in applying this type of equipment so be assured that the problems I had were not simple user error.). They said that the total cost for me would be $250., and in the end, that is all it cost me. After I paid the $250 for the home test, they tried to bill my insurance company $1300. My insurance company did not pay this, but this company never sent me a bill. They were apparently just fishing to see what they could get from the insurance company. A death in my family caused a delay for a few months. on my part, so when I tried to arrange a real sleep study they told me that it had been too long and I would have to repeat the home test. I told them I wasn't going to do that and to just forget the whole thing. They backpedaled and decided that perhaps they could use my original test results after all. The gentleman who conducted the actual sleep study was pleasant and professional, and he tried to make me as comfortable as he could. Then I waited a few weeks hoping to hear some word on my results. I called the office and was told that my results were sent to my doctor and that I should call her for information. That is a very specific instruction, so I called my doctor and she knew nothing about it. Her office had not heard anything. Eventually I got a call to come in for my cpap. They first told me that my insurance required that I rent the machine for 10 months before it would be covered. Then they told me that I had to go ahead pay for it all up front, no rental required. They didn't seem to really know what to do. They acted surprised that no one had contacted me about my sleep study results. I told them about the instructions to call my doctor, but that just confused them more. They set me up with a device and tried to get me to subscribe to their program to get new face mask every two weeks or every month. I noticed that in their office they were distributing those copper infused elastic bandages. That are supposed to magically fix your sore joints or injured muscles with the mysterious power of copper. With the lack of communication, the confusion about my results, the very specific misinformation about my results, their further confusion with the rental/nonrental, the attempt to get more money from me through a repeated home test and their expensive subscription program, and the obvious QUACKERY regarding the magic copper bandages, I knew I didn't want to deal with them any more. I felt like they were next going to try to sell me a time share or maybe a warranty for my car. I took the cpap machine I paid $1000+ for, got prescription and my records, cancelled the "follow up" appointment they had made for me, and I left, planning never to return. Since then they have tried to bill my insurance company several times, still never attempting to send me a bill. Just like with the home test, they don't want to fight with me about a charge. I don't think they want me involved with what they are doing. My insurance company representative agreed that it looks like they are still just trying to suck money from the insurance company without anyone really noticing. If your doctor refers you to this place, I recommend you ask for another option. The Resmed cpap machine works well. If I had a copy of my prescription I could have bought it online for half the price, and supplies are readily available on Amazon.
