We thought we may have had a leak and contacted AAA Roofing Services after looking through their Yelp reviews, checking their license with the state, and checking their BBB profile. We were confident we'd reached out to the right company. They had a 2 week lead time for an appointment which was a little less than I'd actually expected. They called the day before the appointment to reconfirm and also provided me with the technician's name in advance so I knew who would be coming. The technician, Jonathan, arrived on time (even a little early) and was very nice. He inspected our roof and only found a couple very minor issues that wouldn't be resulting in a leak. He provided a quick fix to those minor issues and that was it. Although we didn't need to have a roof repairs done with AAA, the quality of their service was outstanding and we would have hired them to do the work had it been needed. I called up AAA Roofing right before the shutdown. Spoke with Yesenia who was an absolute delight to chat with. Very friendly and accommodating for scheduling my quote. Then, Casey showed up. What an amazing individual he is, Casey was extremely personable and truthful in everything he surveyed about my wind damaged roof. Casey worked up two quotes for me that day. I had them both in my email within 24 hours, which was perfect for me to tell my insurance company what the damage (pun intended) would be. Then...the shutdown hit...but, insurance cut me a check and I was able to keep working from home I had no excuse but to get my roof done. So timidly I called up Yesenia wondering if AAA was still open and to my amazement, they were! I scheduled and appointment and on the first of June, a half an hour before the quoted start time, AAA's team were there ready to get to work. The quoted time was four to five days. They made short work of my old roof, picked up all the old shingling, installed new flashing, replaced rotted under hang, installed two new attic vents, and new roof vent covers. So glad I found these guys through Yelp. Although it was a busy time of the year and took about 2 weeks for an appointment, when Casey showed up he was professional and very informative. Had a slow leak through an a/c vent when it rained, Casey found a few places on our roof that could be the problem areas, so he patched with mastic in about 20 minutes. (He also explained to me why roofers don't use Henry's anymore, instead they usually use Tropical or APOC mastic.) He was very pleasant and thorough, took photos to show the work before and after, and charged us a very reasonable $100. Definitely recommend. read more

I had 3 quotes done and they had the most professional and reasonable quote describing in great detail exactly what the project entailed. I worked with Casey. He was an excellent project manager and all around nice guy. They were very honest and answered every single question I had. They informed me what it would cost if certain materials had to be replaced that were not part of the initial quote. Luckily, in the end there were no extra charges. Everyday they sent pictures via email with a description on what was damaged and how and what was repaired. When they were done they cleaned up and hauled away all old materials. They even took me up on the roof and showed and described everything it was they did and how it all works. I would definitely rehire this company in the future. AAA came to redo my roof a couple of months ago. Lee and his team was professional and did a great job on my roof. They even drop off samples of roofing shingles for you to look at. I guess the true test will be the rainy season but so far I'm please. Everything was done in a day and it was hot that day so I appreciate his guys out there in the burning sun. They were very careful to move any planters that were on the way to make sure they did not get damaged, and put them back in their place at the end of their work. We had to have our tile roof repaired after having our house tented for termites. AAA came to inspect our roof and showed us pictures of the damage, gave us an estimate, and told us that it would be several weeks before they could do the repair. After the repair was done, they came out and inspected, repaired a couple of tiles that had been missed and again took pictures to show us that the repair had been completed. It has rained a couple of times since the repair and we are without leaks. The repair was expensive, but based on other friends that have had their tile roofs repaired the price was fair. read more

So glad I found this place through yelp. In winter during rainy season we have some water leaking from garage roof. We called some roofer and were told we need to replace the whole roof. !!?? Our roof is not old at all and looks to be in great condition so we really were not sure what to do, until I read some reviews here and decided to give AAA a try. They were very professional- came on time and inspected the whole roof, and told us the garage roof can be repaired and pointed out some other minor repairs needed. At the end we were charged for less than a grand. He fixed my small leak while he was here (he was only supposed to give me an estimate) and there was no charge at that. Having just bought a fixer upper home, I was asking around to anyone I knew for roofing recommendations and two different people- one a neighbor and one a friend, on opposite sides of Los Angeles- BOTH recommended AAA roofing, they both worked with Lee. When I called I spoke with Jonathan and he ended up being my roof job manager. It was a BIG expensive thing for me to do, and being a new homeowner everything was a bit overwhelming. But Jonathan explained everything and detailed out all the costs in the estimate and honestly beside the communication - what I like the most was that there was ZERO pressure, no hard sales about estimates expiring, no nonstop phone calls, Just detailed info with respectful people. They went at my pace, answering all my questions, giving me examples of shingles explaining the differences etc. I'd also like to make a special thanks to Norma at the office - who may often get overlooked, but having someone at an office to ALWAYS reply to emails and followup was terrific! The week of the job arrived and I was super nervous because I couldn't be there since I work long hours- Jonathan texted updates and sent pics and videos through 'what's app' showing progress and what they found. It all seemed to go quite smoothly considering the age of the house and the bad shape of the existing roof. There was nothing unexpected that really cropped up, except for old house type things and they were good about helping offset the cost. The only thing I will say is that it's much messier than I anticipated -- there was shingles dust - from the removal I believe EVERYWHERE in the garage - to this day I am still finding little piles of it, on top of things in hidden places. They came back and cleaned up the garage floor, but just a warning - make sure your garage is EMPTY- completely or it'll be a gross mess. I am EXTREMELY happy with the roof, and the work they put in. My only regret is not getting the extra shingles they didn't use for my Catio in the back to match the new lovely roof. A roof is something that is a huge chunk of change to spend, especially immediately after a house purchase, but honestly your roof is SO important, it's just a shame you can't really even see it from the ground, It's the biggest thing you don't really think about, I am VERY glad that AAA and Jonathan put thought into it so I don't have to! I've had Casey from AAA Roofing come out to my previous and current house after experiencing some leaks. He gives a thorough walk through and inspection complete with photos to show exactly where the repairs need to occur. I had other roofers come out, but they always would just suggest to fully rip up huge sections of roof and replace them at great expense. Casey took the approach to repair anything where possible to keep costs down, while still doing a great job. My dads roof was leaking and since the roof was over 20 years old my dad asked that I help him find a roofer to replace it. The first company I contacted came out and gave me an estimate of $14K. It sounded reasonable since it was a large roof. I of course wanted a second estimate so i called up Lee from AAA Roofing since I had worked with him before. I was not able to meet him at the site but he assured me he would take pictures then call me to discuss. Lee came out as promised and after getting on the roof he called me saying he couldn't believe the roof was 20 years old since it looked in great condition. He assured me that the roof had at least 3 to 5 more years before it needed to be replaced. He checked the area that was leaking and found the problem was with the flashing and tar around the AC unit. Without me even asking he quickly repaired the area and called me back to say the problem was resolved! And even after that he insisted there was no charge since it was a quick repair and he appreciated my attempt of return business. I think he was also being kind to my parents since they were older and my dad recently had back surgery. He could have said we needed a new roof and charged me $14K but he was honest instead. We are looking to replace the facade around the flat roof of our townhome complex. Casey came out several weeks ago to provide an estimate. He stated that he thought their bid would be higher than others because they would need to rent scaffolding. He gave me a "back of the envelope" estimate and said to call him if we were interested in a full proposal. I liked Casey very much and was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. As we have spoken with other roofers, we have found that all of the roofers would need to rent scaffolding and Casey's bid was not out of range. Over the last few weeks I have called and left two messages on Casey's cell and on the office voicemail hoping to obtain a full proposal. I also sent Casey and email. No response. At all.
