We were able to accomplish smog, new transferred registration, tags, and get 2 new plates in less than an hour with no appt. on a Saturday. This was so easy to do here. Made an appointment online for that same day and it was confirmed via email immediately. Easy to park on site (tip: park your vehicle at the back of the building where the service bays are) and walked into the lobby. I had to go and get my class c rv smogged. The issue I had was that I had it stored with the battery disconnected for awhile which erased all the O2 sensor data. When I went in there the first time it failed due to that. Leo talked me through exactly what I need to do so that the O2 sensor can record the drive. I followed his instructions and returned in 2 days. Leo met me outside and scanned the code on the car to make sure it was ready. It was and passed with no issues. Checked highly rated ones in Stonecrest Plaza (next to car wash, tire store, convenience store and fast food) and in Miramar Rd (Transmission)...don't know where to park. So, I left. They took a look outside and asked if that was my car, "yup, I said" they wrote down the license plate and asked for my keys and took it to the rear of their store to their garage and got straight to work. Prices: so what attracted me to this place in the first place was the competitive price, I saw a picture that a yelper posted showing how inexpensive this place was so I jetted here asap early in the morning to get this smog done. Im trying to save a buck anyway I can shoot..... When I walked in I saw a higher price on the sign so I kind of got discouraged about coming here, price of living is increasing in San Diego so I thought they jacked up the prices here also. Wrong!!!! Jim is a marketing Genius, in order to receive the Low price of what I saw on the Yelp images "you must check in on Yelp, at the counter" then they apply the discount to your bill when they service is complete. In all I pay 40$ and some change. This is the spot, they are quick and efficient at what they do. They have really comfy chairs in the lobby and the wall art in the room is one of a kind. Bring the coupon before you give them the keys and it's no problem. We got to wait and witness them helping an elderly customer who really didn't want to hassle with much. I was literally in and out in 12 min. Sure you pay a little service fee, but it's 100% worth not spending 1/2 my day at the DMV. Service: super friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. It is super hard being a military wife with two kids at home when your husband is out of the country on active duty.
