He did a very good job of fixing a broken down Dyson vacuum cleaner that had been sitting in the closet for who-knows-how-long. He knows his profession well. If I could give it negative stars I would. AAA charged $200 for repair for my sewing machine, got it back & was in worse condition than when I took it in (needle would jam after 2 stitches, wasn't happening before). So I took it for a 2nd opinion & was quoted that timing was off, gears were lose; basically what I just paid to be repaired, wasn't repaired. Took it back to AAA to give them a second chance to fix their work. Owner/repair guy (Creg or Greg) didn't give a clear estimate of when I'd get machine back, texted & called several times to find eta on pick up on machine (now a total of 3 wks being repaired). He didn't respond to my calls or texts for a week, even though normally he had been when he had my machine the first time. He only answered the phone when I had to physically go out front of the store to get my machine & said he was still working on it, right then. I told him to stop immediately and release my machine to me, I no longer wanted him to work on it. He hung up the phone on me, walked to the front window, then pointed to the back of his shop, & disappeared. I was confused & concerned about the state of my machine. He brought it out and began to speak through the window, which I couldn't hear anything he said. Again, I asked him to release my machine, he finally got I didn't want him to have it any more. He proclaimed it was fixed and that he did communicate pick up as he was closing the front door, which was the last straw in his game, it made me so mad, I had some colorful words for him. It's weird how me calling and texting for a week asking, "when will machine be ready for pick up?" tells him that he told me how long. As off 7/9/2020 @ 11 AM: the timing I paid AAA $200 to fix, is STILL broken after t-w-o attempts. Made a BBB complaint and had to take my machine back to the 2nd Shop to have it fixed for real this time & for $70 cheaper than what AAA charge, plus 1 Yr. warranty on work, & more importantly prompt customer service practices by staff. But still extra an extra expense on top of AAA. Disappointed that he took my money, wasted 4 weeks of my time, and didn't fix the problems. As if things are stressful enough... read more

I told my wife and then my kids what a great job AAA Vacuum did, my kids told me to yelp about it. It's pretty hard to get excited about a vacuum store, but the guy did such a great job in a time crunch and with a great attitude, I just had to yelp. My wife sucked up a sock in our Dyson Pet the day before our house was to be cleaned. I jumped on the computer and searched for vacuum repair in Tustin and AAA was first on the list. I called and Greg told me to bring it right down and he removed the sock on the spot. Bammm... He offered to service it and I told him about the time crunch and he promised to deliver... and he did. I took my Miele vacuum into AAA VAC & SEW because it was not working. I was greeted upon entry by a courtiuos young man who gave me a FREE Estimate on the spot! I didnt have to leave my vacuum in order to get a "SALES PITCH PHONE CALL LATER" I felt his diagnostics & price was more than fair. He special ordered the part and I picked up my vac, working great, two days later.( I was quoted 2 weeks at the last store) I was so impressed I bought bags & HEPA Filter too. A++ Experience !! I came into AAA several Saturday's ago because I had broken a belt on my steam cleaner. When I came in Greg was super helpful and patient as I wasn't sure which belt I needed. He brought out several until I recognized the one I needed. Greg was very informational and not pushy. He really helped me out and was the only Vacum store in the area that was open on a late Saturday afternoon. I needed a set of belts for my Bissell carpet cleaner. I like to support the small local guy...but.... He is charging $9.95 each, for two small belts, that Bissell sells on their website for $3.99 for the pair. Today was my first and last time in the store. I don't mind paying a little more to support the local small business but I think his markup is excessive. read more

Many years ago I bought a Sanyo vacuum belt here and liked the place. Friendly service from a sole proprietor business. More recently i went in to inquire about parts for a corded hand vacuum and it was too old parts were discontinued. Eventually I ended up with a Fuller Brush Company corded hand vacuum this business sells. I have been very happy with it. I've just had to learn how to work with the internal circuit breaker that shuts it down before burning it out, a nice, proactive feature. It has a duty cycle based upon its operating temperature and how much dirt has been vacuumed up. If you clean it out frequently while using it. it breathes better and doesn't heat up as fast. I like the service, and the product offerings cannot be found in department stores. They also rent a dry carpet cleaning machine; wet carpet cleaners destroy the carpet fiber and are the basis for perpetual dirty carpet / carpet recleaning cycles. read more

I cruised down to AAA and met Greg. He did an analysis on what was wrong, replaced everything like new and cleaned it up beautifully. Buying the right vacuum can be a little confusing. AAA Vacuum and the owner Greg did another outstanding job in helping us with our vacuum cleaner questions. We have been a customer here since 2007, purchasing a Riccar Brilliance that has done a good job. But it needed a motor replacement and Greg handled the service quickly and at a reasonable price. At the time Greg showed us the new Miele line of vacuums and we were impressed with the Miele upright that has a swivel head so we bought one of those for our other home. Its nice to buy a product that one can have confidence in the quality and a business that offers very knowledgeable support and service. read more

Excellent service and very knowledgeable. I would change the name to A+A+A+ if I could! I had a couple minor glitches with my high-end RICCAR vacuum cleaner (which I purchased here about seven years ago) and Greg (the owner) diagnosed the problem (switch went bad) and had the part ordered and serviced it in just a few days. I had a separate issue with the electrical cord and Greg repaired it and even cleaned the unit for free!! He is definitely an all-star.....and that's why this place gets all 5 stars!!! read more

So to start my bissell symphony the steam stopped working called bissell under warranty. They recommended this place went there waited 10 minutes for someone to help me. Guy I am assuming the owner Greg very condescending and talks down to you like he is the almighty vacuum wizard. He took my symphony for 5 minutes to the back comes back out and says it is " not worth fixing" Greg. I advised him it was under warranty he then proceeded to blame me for some white stuff in our water tank. He said we put something in there vinegar or bleach I advised him I did not and at this point I was almost beat for having to put up with Greg. I left his store called bissel who was dumbfounded that he would not fix it. They even opened a investigation I had to drive to Laguna woods and went to D and H vaccums the owner there was friendly updated me on progress and talked to me like a human. I will never come back here again. If you don't like customer service Greg hire someone at minimum wage to be your greeter. read more

Last Saturday I took my Red Devil dinosaur vacuum in for a diagnostic after reading rave reviews about Greg on Yelp. It's ALL TRUE!! A very nice guy with a matter of fact explanation. Nothing slick about his presentation on the Miele canister vacuum that I inquired about. My shopping theory is to support small businesses and avoid chain restaurants. As it turns out I had my Dyson serviced and was completely satisfied with my experience. My vacuum was serviced in a timely matter, as he had all and any parts needed in stock. I brought my vacuum in because it wasn't sucking well. I'm pretty sure the guys name was Greg... He took a look at it and told me it needed to be cleaned, needed a new belt and new filters. I got the feeling that he wasn't a very sincere or honest person but I ignored it because I needed my vacuum fixed. He requires payment in full up front, so I paid & left. I picked it up a week later and it worked well for about 6 months and then it started not sucking well again. The only reason I brought it back to him was because he supposedly gives a one year guaranty on his work. When I brought it back he looked at it and said it needed to be cleaned, and it needed new belts and filters. He also pointed out that the filters in the vacuum were after market filters which are not good for the vacuum. (He's the one that put them in!) He wanted to charge me another $70. I said no thanks and left. I went home, took it apart and replaced the belt ($3) and it works perfectly. He's a rip off. read more
