Really disappointed with my experience a while back but only getting to a review now. Called them to repair a Frigidaire washer. Good communication at first, but once they came out they did not get back to me about the issue; only the tenant. Once they contacted me, they said it would be really expensive and tried to discourage me from doing the repair saying it would be more expensive than replacing the unit. Quoted me ~$650. Finding a match to the dryer proved to be impossible so I decided to repair. Didn't hear back and contacted again. Was blown off and told they couldn't get the part. Long story short, called another company, got the parts quickly, and paid 30% less. ****Update: you can see the response below. They are only willing to source parts from a certain distributor. One of the worst experiences we've ever had with any type of home/appliance repair service. Called US Pro SRG to repair a Whirlpool washer. They responded quickly and arrived on time. Price was good, but I would definitely pay more than to go through the hassle of ever dealing with a company like this again. As a result of their work, I now have ceiling water damage... worst part, it wasn't damage after the fact... it was while the technician was finishing the install... water dripping from the ceiling directly under the laundry room. Even worse.... they claim it must be my pipes and not the fact the technician forgot to reinstall the flush hose to the exit pipe... which I personally witnessed splattering on our laundry room floors and had to spend 20 minutes mopping up. Please be warned... spend the extra money if you must... otherwise you might be out more money and have to deal with the added frustration of dealing with more repairs. read more

I called US PRO SRG for a same day appointment on Wednesday to take a look at my dryer. The technician came in 2 hours. Sergey professionally diagnosed the problem. After he identified the problem, he presented 2 options for me. Sergey was very honest and considerate in presenting the solutions and the costs associated with each. The problem was either the control board or the motor. Sergey suggested that he can purchase both parts so he can test and determine which part cause the issue. He also assured me that he'll return the part that doesn't need to be replaced and will credit me the difference. Sergey came back after the parts were received a few days later. He tried different combinations to figure out if both parts needed to be replaced or just one. After trial and error, Sergey confirmed that only the motor needed to be replaced. I am extremely, extremely satisfied with the service of the technician Sergey who serviced our Samsung dryer today. He was incredibly responsive with my communication, and actually arrived earlier than anticipated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced several parts in the dryer including idler arm, rollers and bearings. I am a kind of person who tries to find excuses to others but in this situation I was really disappointed from the level of service and follow up. The tech came and check my Frigidaire dishwasher and advised to replace the drain pump. I agreed but the company couldn't find replacement for more than 45 days of waiting. I had to check on weekly basis but always getting the same feedback "it is a special order from the manufacture as it is discontinued and due to COVID it is delayed" without giving me and ETA but just pushing it week over week. Eventually i had to ask them to cancel the order and i brought another company who had available stock. surprisingly when then new company came to replace the "faulty" unit they figured out the pump is not the faulty but there was a broken plastic straw blocking the pump. they just removed it and it is back to work! The tech from US PRO SRG could have done better job finding out the real cause of the issue. So 1. They fail to procure the new item on time (even with COVID delay there should still be an ETA for delivery even though it is late). The company kept blaming the manufacture. 2. A poor investigation of the main cause of the dishwasher failure. read more

Water was leaking underneath the dishwasher at a rental property. Leaking was not coming from the tub or bottom of the door. Tech comes out and doesn't bother to check the area where the leak was actually occurring. Just opens the door and sees that the sides are slightly bowed out and says the entire dishwasher has to be replaced due to a deformed tub. My tenant found this company and doesn't bother questioning the assessment. I wasn't there due to the pandemic. It didn't sound right to me. I found another company and met the tech at the unit. He very quickly discovered a loose hose underneath the dishwasher and tightened it. No more leak! Didn't even have to replace the hose. He also checked the seal around the tub was working properly and said the bowing was actually easily fixable. read more

About a week ago, the ice maker in my Whirlpool refrigerator quit making ice, I can live with that, for a bit. Then, water started coming from the freezer. What? Having had an excellent previous experience with Serge at SRG, I called Helen and made an appointment for the next afternoon. Serge arrived on time and patiently listened to my description. I let him do his own evaluation and he found that a) the ice maker is dead, and b) the sensor controlling defrosting in the freezer was also kaput. In order to get to the offending sensor, he had to empty out all of the food in the top basket in the freezer, then steam out accumulated ice, quite a job. As before, he showed me the old and new parts. The ice maker is back ordered, but no more water leakage. Unlike most repair folks I've dealt with, Serge leaves the repair area clean and is unfailingly polite. Once again, 5 stars! read more
