For years I had Terminix and what a waste of money! No matter how many times they came out to my house I was always coming across live silverfish and spiders. It all started with noise in the attic. I called several pest control companies and initially selected another provider. The day of service this other company called to let me know they were sending guys that spoke no english. I cancelled. I ended up selecting AAction to do the work and Dan did a GREAT job. He was several $100 cheaper than the other guys and didn't try and inflate the work. I also agreed with his approach. The other company wanted to seal the attic first and then lay traps. Dan said it was better to lay the traps first and then seal a week later. The rationale being that when the rodents feel trapped they become frantic looking for an escape and end up dying in the walls rather than getting caught in traps. It turns out that I had a squirrel problem in one part of the attic and rats in another. If you have a problem, don't wait. My job is done, the attic cleaned and the access holes plugged. read more

I use an exterminator once a year for black widows. I used to use M & M pest-control. They were good and very reasonable but they sold the business... AA service was 4-star. I had to have them come back and re-spray. They charged 3x as much as what I used to pay. Who knows, maybe chemical prices went up? read more

I had a VERY BAD flea problem inside and out. Never used Aaction. Made one phone call and they were out right away same day!! the receptionist was very warm and kind. I have five kids and they were very helpful getting it handled right away!! We were being eaten alive in our own home. Now we dont have a single flea inside or out!!! The recent rain downpour sent ants into my bathroom. I decided to shop around and found that AAction had great pricing in comparison to their competitors. The receptionist was very friendly and well informed about their products and services. She set up an appointment quite fast, very impressive. Josh W. came out to help us with our bi-monthly service this past weekend. We added an additional concern with regards to rodents in our attic. He was amazingly helpful and efficient in surveying the situation, making the appropriate recommendations, and then facilitating the treatment plan that was recommended. I have mixed feeling about this company and my problem not solved yet so I may come back and change the review. I have problem with rodent and it has attacks my car 4 times and can cause serious problem in 1 night alone. I called one company but the technician didn't show up so I chose Aaction base on Yelp reviews. The receptionist of this company is very nice and send a technician over on the same day. I need help to determine how the rodent get access to my garage. The technician set the traps but didn't check around the house but show me the rubber damage at the bottom of the garrage door so i called a company to fix it the next day. One week pass, my car get attacked again but the traps didn't catch anything, I called the company , a different technician comes, I emphasize to him that I need to understand how the rodent access my property, he didn't see any and just set more traps. A second week pass, we still didn't catch anything but I see more droppings, I am so sad and call the company again. This nice receptionist ask the owner Ron to call me and he sent Dan to visit my house the 3rd. Dan is truely an expert professional on this field and I can see it thru his work, he check everything thoroughly, under the windows, the attics , the garage, pay attention to details and within 10 min found and fill a hole in the upper part of my garage and found openning under the windows siding before of wear and tear. I 'll have to have somebody to fix the windows but I am very impressed with his experience. If Dan would be the 1st person to come to my house this review would be a five star plus for sure. I heard he has over 30 years of experience in doing this. I am keeping my finger cross hoping that my rodent problem is over soon , but in the mean time, I want to write this review to say thanks to Dan and helps others. read more

I rarely write reviews but in this case I am taking the time to do so... I bought a new home near a lake here in Agoura and apparently it was infested with rodents. Under the house, in the attic, in the yard, basically everywhere. I encountered one in the house and went insane! I am a woman who was holding a fire extinguisher in one hand and a skillet in the other , crying and calling anyone to come help me. Well, Aaction pest control services did every thing but show up in a red cape. I mean they are heroes to me! Sean came and worked so very hard to rid me of those rats. I felt safer knowing he had every base covered. Knowing the rats could no longer get into the actual house I felt instantly relieved. He then treated under the house, yard etc. I can now say I am rodent free in only one month .These rats were living here for years and they got rid of them and deterred them in less than a month. I no longer hear them, see them or see any indication that there are any in my yard and certinally not in my home. I had noticed honeybees getting into our bedroom, just a few a day over the course of a couple weeks. They'd seemed to be coming from the direction of our wall AC unit, but when I went outside, I didn't see an abnormally large number of bees near it. Then, today, I went and checked it out again and saw several bees crawling on the wall near the AC unit (but again, no hive). I called AAction and it turns out they had a hive *in* the wall under the AC unit! A technician showed up within the hour. He was very friendly and took care of it very quickly! And I was pleasantly surprised it did not cost a fortune. I am a returning customer (unfortunately, but glad I found this company). I was hearing noises underneath my house and thought it was a lost opossum that needed to be captured humanely and released into the wild somewhere else...well, my perceived opossum problem turned out to be RATS!!! Luckily, I called AAction Pest control before they multiplied. JAMES was my technician and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took care of the rats by placing multiple traps all over their hangout areas, sealed all of their exit/entry points and made sure that the traps were catching the rats (he even caught one within minutes of setting out the trap)! He also noted that I had a small termite problem and recommended that I look into getting that treated. He came back on the dates that we scheduled and was always punctual and professional.
