Yesterday the mechanics at discount tire shared two Lugnuts off my wheels balancing and rotating the tires. They said it was safe to drive, but I really wanted to get it repaired before I made The two hour trip home to Canyon city. I called today at 8 AM and asked them if there was any chance they could do the job for me today between 11 and 1230. I fully expected them to say sorry but we're booked solid. I was elated when Kevin said they'd have to take a look at it, but they could probably handle it today. I sat in the waiting room by their Christmas tree with real presents under it and was greeted by their beautiful and friendly dog. Within an hour my Lug nuts had been replaced. As a female, I usually hate speaking with auto shops because you either get dismissed or talked down to. Quite the contrary! Overpriced, dishonest, late and shoddy work…read more We had the misfortune of having a car break down on a Saturday, transmission, and they were the only place open that was within distance. It took them a week longer to get the work done than we were originally told. Once they finally installed the transmission, we were told that it came with a faulty sensor, and that they would have to get the part from Honda. They then charged us for the faulty sensor that came with the transmission -- almost $300. The initial quote for a new transmission was $10,000 parts and labor. They said that they could get a certified, refurbished one and drop the price to closer to $8,000. We chose to go with the certified refurbished transmission (while we were waiting for the work to be done, 4 hours after we showed up -- and it was still the next day before they finished it -- the manager was talking to us and saying that a brand new transmission for the car would have been $16,000 -- even though 2 weeks before he had quoted us $10,000). The final bill, with the other things they added on, was $9,700 (which turns out to be significantly more than what we were told and more than other shops would charge). They also told us a list of things that needed to be dealt with that were problems with the car. I was curious simply because I heard three other customers being told that they had similar issues that needed to be dealt with. Driving the car the next day, there was a weird squeaking sound. We took it to another shop to see if they could diagnose the problem -- a number of the bolts holding the transmission were loose! They tightened them up and the sound disappeared. Not only was the work very late and overpriced, it was shoddy. We also asked this shop to check the other issues that Saul's Autotek had said were issues that needed to be addressed, and we were told that those "issues" were fine.

Damien and the team are absolutely amazing and they're the only shop that I will forever trust. I've dealt with SEVERAL shops in the area and even the BMW dealership with my car. Their price for services is extremely fair. On average I'm seeing other shops charge way more than what Prestige w/ Integrity charges. Hell, BMW quoted me $1700 for a valve cover gasket replacement. 2 popular shops in the area that work on German cars quoted me $950 and $1279. Prestige quoted me a little over $500. My car is nearing 20 years old and I fully expect major and minor issues. This summer, I had my fan go out. I called Damien for a quote. But figured it should be an easy fix and went on YouTube for a tutorial and tried to replace the fan myself. With the time and money I spent to get the tools and parts PLUS labor, I 100% should've gone to Prestige with Integrity. Their price was ridiculously fair. While it should've been an easy fix, just to get to the part took forever because of where it's located in my car. I've had really bad experiences at other auto shops over the years that left a bitter taste in my mouth towards all auto shops. But Prestige with Integrity has been the ONLY example of good and fair service. Even if your car is in another auto shop, call Prestige with Integrity for a quote. I can guarantee you, you'll save money and time!

By far, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a company working on my vehicle…read more I initially brought my car in because the check engine light came on. After running diagnostics, I was told the issue was related to a knock sensor misfire. Instead of recommending replacement of the knock sensor, I was advised to get a $600 tune-up in hopes that it would resolve the problem. I trusted their professional recommendation and agreed to the service. Unfortunately, immediately after the repairs were completed, my vehicle was still experiencing the exact same issue. I contacted the shop right away, but because it was late Saturday afternoon, I was told I would need to wait until Monday to bring it back in. When I returned Monday, I spoke directly with the manager and explained everything that had happened. He told me that if the issue turned out to be the knock sensor after all, he would cover the cost with no problem. We scheduled for me to return Thursday morning. On Thursday, after the technicians confirmed the knock sensor was indeed the issue, I explained that the manager had already agreed to cover the repair. However, I was then told that because the manager was unavailable, there was nothing they could do and I would need to come back again. When I returned Friday, the manager completely changed his position. He stated he could not cover the repair because, after speaking with the technician who originally recommended the tune-up, they decided it was simply a "process of elimination" to diagnose the problem. After wasting $600 on unnecessary repairs, I ended up taking my vehicle to Big O Tires. They replaced the knock sensor and informed me that I simply needed a Hyundai system update afterward. They also told me the tune-up I was sold was unrelated to fixing the actual problem. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I trusted their expertise, spent hundreds of dollars on repairs that did not resolve the issue, and then was given conflicting information and broken promises from management. I would strongly caution others before bringing their vehicle here, especially if you cannot afford to waste money on unnecessary repairs.

Set it up, waited in my vehicle patiently, and when technician came over 1. he wouldn't get closer than 20 feet to talk with me after politely, repeatedly asking him to so do (could not hear him clearly enough), 2. I asked him If I could ride along with him for his test drive, said no, stated, "Would you allow any body to watch you work?," and then before I could get a syllable out says, "You can take it somewhere else," and walks off. I'm dumbfounded. I go to the office to straighten it out and the moment I get in Gary says, "Get out." and it only physically escalates from there via Gary's utter refusal to hear a word I have to say. (Was happy for the technician to take it solo. but could never get that out to either of them visa vis their outrageous way they treated me before I could say a thing. (Just for context: No other shop in my 70 years has ever said I couldn't ride along.)) Good chances Gary is going to bald-facedly lie through his teeth defending his indefensible actions here, but I have no reason to make this up. In fact I only went to this shop because a couple years prior I had talked to Gary on the phone and he seemed like a decent, knowledgeable fella so I had nothing but good will and trust with him until this happened. They might be excellent at what they do, I have no idea, but psychologically they are unhinged, to put it mildly, and if anything goes wrong with their work on your vehicle, etc., I wish to save everyone before-hand the nightmare of having to deal with these two in the first place. Thus, avoid this particular shop like the plague. Sincerely, a previously otherwise "potential life long customer' of this facility.
