Had a Transmission rebuilt for a ram 2500 diesel and we were strongly convinced from them that we need a rebuild with billet parts. So we did but unfortunately there warranty was only a year and take a guess. A few weeks right after the warranty the tranny grenades itself. They cant do anything to help except charge us another 12-13k for another junk rebuild. Anyway don't do transmissions here and definitely find a longer warranty. This was a company vehicle and we wanted to have a relationship with a mechanic for our fleet but when I called back the immediate no help, and made it seem like I was lying when they told me they need to see it. I brought my car in thinking it was either going to be a new transmission or catalytic converter-neither were in my budget! They diagnosed that it was the turbos. Still a pricey replacement. Parts were ordered but when they got in there to start the disassembly they found that a clamp had failed. Reattached the turbos and called to give me the good news! I had to have my transmission repaired at 138,000 miles. Not a good situation, not good timing, nothing was good about the breakdown. I got a diagnosis and an estimate from Roadrunner based on their initial observation. After approving a repair, they called to say the repair was major, and it would exceed the estimate after tax and everything. They said they would limit my cost to the upper amount of the original estimate, which, although it wasn't what I wanted to pay, it was a fair amount and it was what I would do for a customer of mine if I gave them a cost estimate. I would recommend this company and I would use their services again if faced with the same situation. read more

Life saver! Jim is fantastic! The transmission went out on my BMW 325 CI. It's NEVER a good time for that to happen but this was close to the worst! My stepfather just got home from nursing home and I was already pretty freaked out. Then tranny went out took it to Europe repair place down the street they wanted $5,000 to rebuild it and then when it got to Roadrunner's found out motor mount got cracked while it was at other shop! Not only did Jim repair it in 2 days he also beat their price by $1700! Then he fixed the motor mount, and changed the oil still came in $1300 less than than rebuild at euro place, Plus he gave me and my dog a ride all the way to Aurora! Have given his number to several other women I know with car problems. Also posted it ( something I've never felt compelled to do before) on the " card board" at coffee shop by my house. Jim is Honest. Yes, he also does work. About a year ago he built me a Heavy duty transmission, did a good job so I had him do other work including: bigger turbo, intercooler, trans cooler, head studs, 4k governor spring kit, intake and exhaust manifolds, trans lock up kit, exhaust brake, 4 inch exhaust, CTS2 system with all the sensors, and more. I've since then pulled my trailer thousand of miles from Cali to Havasu, back and forth into Mexico and all around different riding spots in socal. Do you like spending your hard earned money on car repairs? Me neither! That's why I liked this place. I got quotes from many different places for a transmission flush on our Nissan Rogue. Jim was one of the few who I talked to who sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He was only changing the fluid, not flushing it, as you cannot flush our model of vehicle. He charged $150, whereas all the other quotes came in at $175-$210. He was also very honest with me when I asked about the life of our vehicle and what to expect in the future, which helps me to plan ahead. I really appreciated his straightforward approach to business, and I am sure you will, too. Jim got our car in pretty quickly, and had the vehicle ready in a short amount of time. The location is tucked back from the road, so I had a hard time finding it the first time. I would suggest a better map or directions, since their name is not on the sign by the road. read more

Before the end of the week, they had us up and running again!! The week after we got our Jeep back, the heater quit working. It was on one of the snowiest days that we have had this year, and I was stuck without a heater. I called Randy, and without hesitation, he said to come right over. Jim really knows his stuff when it comes to Diesel trucks. He found some serious issues with my Duramax before a big trip to Grand Junction towing a huge trailer. We were grateful and felt confident getting to our destination without incident. On the way back we stopped at the top of Vail pass and the truck wouldn't start! In desperation I called Jim and he said it sounded bad but try to bleed the fuel system and maybe it will work but he didn't think it would. Randy is a liar. I recently had my car towed to Roadrunner since my car would not drive more than 20 feet. Before I had the car towed there Randy said it would be $120 for an hour to diagnose the issue and he would waive it if I chose to have it repaired. I told him to go ahead and do the diagnosis. He calls me back 3 hours later and says that the bill is $3600 to have the transmission rebuilt. I told him it was too much and said how much do I owe you if I don't do the repair. He said $1800 and I would have to have the car towed. If he had it for 3 hours 120 an hour it should not be 1800 to get it back. Do NOT go to this shop. read more

Had my transmission rebuilt on my diesel truck. They built the transmission to be able to handle my heavy towing and also to handle a tuner. Had a triple disc torque converter installed and other valve body upgrades they do in house. Jim also installed a tuner, gauges, and turbo timer in the truck. Jim is very honest and the price was very good. Definitely recommend this shop for transmission and other diesel needs. Commercial Account - This company rebuilt my transmission on a 1993 F250 We don't really use the vehicle very much because it is a yard truck, 9 months ago I had it rebuilt by James. The vehicle only have 2000 miles on it and now the transmission is slipping again. I have this verified with another shop and I just don't trust this guy can fix the transmission right.
