This place sets an example for all businesses to follow, Truly amazed by the customer service…read more Nadira was very prompt and accurate when providing my quote and communications during the repair process. Service was a in house rebuild on a 2006 F150 transmission. Mike takes care of the rebuilds and his expertise shows. Oh I guess now is a good time to mention that this vehicle has 439,000 plus miles on it. And the transmission had never been touched as far as repairs, just fluid and filter changes when I remembered they were due. They stand behind the work and do understand the customers needs. Had a slight issue after picking the truck up that was promptly addressed even though it was actually not related to the rebuild. My shift cable was so old that it would not retain adjustment. It was 20 years old at least. Mike found the issue and actually walked me out so I could see what was happening. Part was ordered, wrong part was shipped over to there shop twice due to it not matching the vin number. When they found the part number after removal. Nadira actually ran and picked it up to help expedite the repair. Mike took care of the labor to install and I just paid for the cable. They didn't have to do this, this was above and beyond since this was not related to the actual work preformed or quoted. Transmission has about 350 miles on it now and wow its working way better than I could have dreamed of shifts are on point and smoother than I would have ever dreamed off. Way to go, This shop is on my highly recommend list and I will be taking all my business here if the need ever arises. Shop has my vote for business of the year, way to go to the whole crew involved. Thanks Again--

Told me to come in to check it out and Mike went out to diagnose the issue and he advised it's not a trans issue, but an electrical issue based on the codes that were coming up. He suggested I find a place specializing in electrical. They didn't try to nickel and dime me and charge an inspection fee. For a Saturday they were pretty busy and the parking lot was full. Based on this one experience, will plan to bring our vehicles here when the need arises and will update the review accordingly. Thanks Mike...

I had a terrible experience with AllState Transmission and would not recommend their services. I…read morewas charged extra for storage fees on my car, but when I picked it up, the part they supposedly fixed was still not working properly and my transaxle sign popped up before I even made the car home. When I brought this up, Nicole was extremely unprofessional and told me I was "lucky" they would even fix it without charging me more for the new parts they had to replace on my transmission--despite the fact that the part had failed and should have been properly repaired in the first place. To make matters worse, when I asked for an invoice showing the corrected repairs, they refused to provide one, leaving me without proper documentation for my records. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a service that was not done correctly, was overcharged, and was then denied basic proof of what was (or wasn't) fixed. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund on the storage fees considering I was charged more than what I was told and for the car having not been completed correctly in the timeline under which I was informed and billed for. Had to leave work multiple times for their mistake but was told I was lucky to have a fixed car, which I am, but some good customer service would have been nice too. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. A reputable shop should stand by their work, treat customers with respect, and provide clear and accurate invoices. And customer satisfaction is supposedly their 100% priority but Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Five-Star Review for Allstate Transmission…read more Allstate Transmission is exactly what you hope to find in an auto repair shop--family-owned, honest, and fair. We have an early-2000s Ford Thunderbird, a very special vehicle that has been in our family for years. We initially brought it to a large corporate repair shop in Cave Creek and were quoted $3,500-$4,500 for transmission work. That estimate didn't sit right. After doing extensive online research, I reached out to Allstate Transmission and spoke directly with Nicole, an owner. She clearly explained the inspection and repair process, set realistic expectations, and even walked me through a worst-case scenario that came in at just under $2,000. We transported the car to Allstate and were extremely pleased with the transparency of the estimate process and the consistent communication throughout the transmission rebuild. The transmission carries a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, and when we picked up the car, it shifted and ran like new--no leaks, no issues. After living in Arizona for two years, it's incredibly reassuring to finally have a shop we can truly trust with our vehicles. Integrity, common sense, and quality workmanship--thank you, Nicole. You run a great shop, and Allstate Transmission comes highly recommended.

After stellar Yelp reviews (4 plus) guided us to AMC, paid over $3000 (for a broken serpentine…read morebelt, AC belts, new radiator etc., with all parts warranted per AMC). Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.

I recently had a rough time dealing with transmission issues on my car. I've never gone through…read moreanything like this before, and I'm definitely not a "car person," so I rely heavily on shops to be honest and straightforward with me. I first took my vehicle to another service center. They charged me hundreds of dollars for a diagnostic and kept my car for two full days, even though I had an appointment and was told it would be quick. After all that, they simply told me, "Yep, it's the transmission," and quoted me over $8,000 for the replacement and a few hundred more for diagnostics and fees. That was absolutely not happening - especially with how expensive everything is these days. After calling five other places in the Chandler area, I reached Arizona Reliable Transmission. I explained what was going on and that I likely needed a new or remanufactured CVT. Based on the information I gave them, they quoted me a fair price right away, and I accepted. They asked if the car was drivable. I told them I was unsure I had only driven it very short distance after the main issue happened also their location is quite a way from the other shop. Without hesitation, they said they would send their tow driver to pick it up, bring it to their shop, and inspect it - at no extra cost. They explained that they will offer this as a courtesy for my situation. Truly great guys to work with they made it a very easy process! They also took a moment and inspected my brakes as they noticed the wear on them and offered to do a discounted add on for replacement on those and rotors as well, however I am currently tapped out on car repair funds so I had to decline the offer and do that myself but the fact that they took the time and had the care to send me photos un-prompted to notify me of the need to be replaced that was an added touch that sets them apart. (The other shop I had gone to first which starts with a G and ends with a CH told me my brakes and rotors that were grinding and a little squeeky were great no need for replacement... they made sure not to add that onto any invoice though because of liability as I tried to dispute with BBB and their parent company found a work around on that...) They got my car fixed up, and I have no complaints so far. It's been about two weeks, and I'm going in for my transmission checkup this weekend. I was even given a 3-year warranty on the parts they replaced - as of now, I can confidently say that for me as of now the best transmission shop in Chandler is Arizona Reliable Transmission!
