Because why did it take nine hours just to inspect my car and write up a report, and no one even called me? Then I show up before closing without receiving a phone call about anything on my car, because they didn't ask if they could keep my car overnight or approve on any work being done. When I get there, my car's been ready for hours, but the report still wasn't done. When I asked, he said he just hadn't gotten to it yet, even though there were only two cars ahead of me and I had one of the first appointments. It only took him 5 minutes to write the report... After I receive this report they say they have only found *some metal in my fluid. And when they explained it, they weren't concerned or even say I shouldn't be driving it. However, my car broke down a day later on my way home from work because my transmission basically exploded. They don't know what they are talking about and just wasted my time. read more

"New Management" what a joke. Misled me gave me wrong info and gave me info for a Chevy when I have a ford. Another lady in at same time was told her vehicle was done and the guy lied to her and then she was late back to work. But the worst is the stink coming from the sewer system and they solved it by adding two air fresh sprayer going off every few seconds in different places in the office. If that's how they fix a sewage issue rather than getting to the root of the issue and fixing it, I would hate to know how they would have band aided my truck together. This place SUCKS!! I'll never come back here to get ANY service on my vehicle. My Cadillac has been sitting in the shop for a WHOLE month. I was told on Thursday (4/24/25) (by Sarah the manager) That the new fuse box they ordered would be in on Monday 4/28/25. It didn't come until (5/8/25). A whole WEEK LATER! Once it was installed on Friday, (5/9/25) they needed ANOTHER guy that had to be schedule out to come program it. He didn't finish the job until Tuesday (5/13/25). Once the fuse box was programed they told me my BCM caused the fuse box to go bad so that had to be ordered and replaced. On Tuesday, (5/13/25) I called to the shop and was told that they would order the part first thing in the morning and it would be delivered Thursday, (5/15/25) and installed the same day. Here I am sitting in the shop on (5/16/25) 25 minutes before closing and the programmer is STILL not here. I've spent hundreds of unnecessary dollars on Ubers these past four weeks and I'm fed up. If I could give this Aamco shop 0 stars I would...don't trust anything they say. Get 3 different opinions no matter what. we were driving from California to Tennessee and started having issues in Phoenix. We took our truck to Aamco at 6161 35th ave, phoenix. They plugged in there code reader and told us they needed to rebuild our transmission and there was a closed cylinoid, my husband said no and we went next door to the auto zone and had them plug in their code reader and they showed us the print out that said to change the air filter. We changed the air filter and drive all the way to Tennessee. Don't ever use this Aamco! read more

I went in for a timing chain replacement and received without a doubt the most horrible service repair that I've ever had. Needless to say these mechanics are crooks and highly inexperienced amateurs at repairing a vehicle. If you need a simple oil change here that's fine although I would double check before you leave to see if they don't put Pepsi instead of motor oil in your engine. Not only did they not fix my timing chain issue they've made the problem somehow worse and overcharged me for it. The manager accused me of a faulty alternator which was working fine prior to brining it into the the so called "experts." Luckily he made it right by replacing the alternator that THEY had broken in the first place (mind you this wasn't the issue that I had originally came in with). This was of course after arguing with me over the phone to accuse me of saying it had come in like this which was not the case...sigh. Having left the shop 6 months later only to find out from the dealer (which is where I should've taken my issue up to in the first place...I'll take the $3,000 L on that...thanks AAMCO...or whatever) that the timing chain looks like it was replace by an ape with two left hand's and dinosaur brain. These idiots at AAMCO took longer then they quoted me on the job. Didn't do the job as they advertised they did. Over-quoted me for the initial price. Basically every greasy trick in the mechanic hand-book and took me for a ride. I would not wish my enemy's daily driver to be repaired by these clowns. This was the first and only time I've taken my car to be serviced by an outside source (I usually take it to the dealer and by god I should've this time) and was severely disappointed. The manager of this shop is extremely rude and their staff of child "mechanics" couldn't replace a windshield wiper for you if their lives depended on it. I honestly do not know why or how these crooks stay in business, thanks for screwing me over during a COVID Pandemic. I now have to take my car over to the ADULTS so they can properly repair it. I spoke with the receptionist, Andala on 3.21.23 to schedule my appointment for a replacement alternator. I provided exact information on my vehicle (year, make, model, engine size) in which she informed me that, with parts & labor, I could expect to pay $678. I had my vehicle towed from the dealership to the Laveen location due to the savings. I asked Andala if I could use the 10% off any service coupon; she informed me that I could, so long as the discount did not exceed $100. Once my vehicle arrived, Andala then called me to say the actual price would be $952. I expressed my frustration in that that price was higher than the dealership which I'd had it towed from, and most importantly, different than what she told me the day prior when I booked the appointment. She then stated it would be $678 (as originally stated). Upon picking up my vehicle, I asked if the price included the 10% coupon we spoke about. She stated it did. Once the invoice was printed, I asked her to explain where the 10% off coupon was applied. She could not explain it, saying it was already included and she already "ate the price" by giving it to me for $678, despite this being the price she originally informed me of. Andala is very rude, lacks customer service skills, and dishonest. I would like the 10% off any service coupon on your website for the Laveen location honored. read more

This place is a scam. The office lady is unbelievably rude and the owner lies to you. He's nice and a great salesman but you walk away feeling like shit knowing he just took your for more than double of what any other company charges. Good luck, they costs us $20,000 on a $6000 repair. The vehicle was only worth 13k. They test drove our vehicle after they had removed the bumper and did not secured it correctly, it came flying off on the freeway and was damaged beyond repair and their comment was, that kind of stuff happens. We are not liable for anything but the transmission. The old man with two dogs and the rude Hispanic office lady are the people to stay away from. It took 3 months for them to replace our transmission. The rental car was more than the repair if you can be believe that. Our total out of pocket expensive for a $6k transmission was over $20k after them having our vehicle for 3 months. They told us the repair would take 1 week fyi. You can tell by the look and upkeep of this business the second you pull in, this is a company that is looking for nothing else but to put used parts in and wipe their hands clean. I have hesitated to write this review because I hate to hurt anyone, but I feel that this AAMCO owner/manager is deceitful and I should warn others so that they aren't hurt by him. First of all, he said he would take out our car's transmission to see if it could be repaired for $450. He said if it wasn't repairable, he would apply the $450 to the cost of repairs. We thought this was fair and signed for this work to be done. A couple of days later, we get a call from him saying that the transmission was taken out and found to be beyond repair. The owner/manager then gave us a quote of over $4,500 to put in a used transmission with 67,000 miles on it. When I saw the price he was charging for the used part, I told my husband that it was twice as much as what we could buy the part for ourselves. When this was mentioned to the owner/manager, he said that doubling the price of the part was a standard markup. I wasn't happy with this. We began looking elsewhere and I was willing to lose the $450 to go with a company that would let us buy the part and just install it for us. But my husband still felt he could work out a deal with AAMCO and not lose that money. At one point, he finally asked to see the transmission and was told that it had been sent to their main office to see if they could fix it. Finally, on the same day that he asked to see the transmission, the owner/manager said he would just put it back in within a couple of days and we could take the car/no charge. He said my husband was harassing his receptionist and that he didn't need our business. Well, my husband suspected that the transmission had never been taken out. So in less than an hour, after my husband was told that our transmission was at the main office and that it would take a couple of days for them to put it back in, we snuck over to their shop and my daughter got into her car and turned it on with our spare key. (They had left the car parked out in the parking lot!) My daughter and I walked into the office and requested our key back and said that the owner/manager had said, "No charge". The receptionist called her boss to double check before giving us the key and then finally gave it to us. We drove away and thanked God that that man wasn't able to take anything more than our time and trust away from us. He obviously never took out the transmission or sent it to another location. What incredible lies! He must have known we knew he had lied, but he never called to apologize for doing so. Without apology, I just knew that this is an unethical man and business. Please know that this man is in it for the money. He will lie and cheat you to get as much as he can out of you. read more

Because he said he was having a problem getting dealer parts (whatever) the guy told me it was a simple fix an cheap job 800 is not cheap to a hard working person . I said fix it cause it need to be done they said it will b ready fri so I went down there to pick up an they said they called me to tell me Monday but never got a call an I left both my phone numbers . so they offered a rental an 50 off the repair I told them no why would I put gas money in a rental car on top of paying the repair price . so after talking to them he drop my repair price to almost 500 I looked at what they repaired an it looks like they replace two part that was $73 an labor was $400 . also it was there first time doing that type of repair . honestly I would not recommend this place I wouldn't ever go back to them bait an switch read more

I could go nigitive in a rating if i could..this time I think because I was not present to see what exactly went on with my car something is wrong ..so here it goes I took it to them and had great feelings about the work and staff and they fixed my car as I was present then the part broke 2 wwwks later they fixed it then a few days later it broke again then a few weeks later I heard the same noise before it broke the last 2 times so I bring it in and ask to have it checked I was present through all visits mentioned so at the last check up on the lift no problems found so on I go now it breaks and it's a new part that broke so I bring it back and the new owner has new people there and very pushy ordered me an uber home because it was going to take hours to look at it okay well I'm home for all of 30 mins and they call me telling some more then double the price of the cost of the repair would normally be any other shop that I called around for quotes and so I called him back and told them no I'm not going to fix it there and to please just put my card outside now have it picked up buy tow truck and so this time I wasn't there to watch it come up on the lift and to actually watch it get inspected to see what happened because I was forced home with an Uber and so now it multiple part I noticed that when I took it to the next shop more than what they quoted me or actually broke it so I think the left rear trailing arm was damaged by Aamco and since I was not there watching to see what happened I can't prove it so shame on me for not sticking with my gut and always watching the mechanics I think if you stay there you get an honest job if you're not there to be present to watch your vehicle get worked on then they might gouge you as they did me and I feel like they damaged another part of my car I would never go back there again I would never recommend anybody to that shop ever again I'm sorry I never went there is steak good money there read more
