I needed to take my Volvo XC90 in somewhere to have the A/C looked at. The air was blowing hot and I had gone somewhere else to have them charge it with Freon, but within a few weeks, it was blowing hot again. My mechanic of 30 years retired and I was at a loss to find an honest and reputable shop. I called First Cass Auto Service because of their good reviews. I was very happy to find out that they had all the correct tools to service a 2005 Mini Cooper. Max was friendly, professional, and patient and assured me that their work would cost less than at the dealership. I had a list of things wrong that the dealership found, and a $1,000 repair they included was not necessary. First Class did a thorough inspection and found something that the dealership missed. Max explained they only had three bays, and I had the car towed there without an appointment, so I understood it would take a few days before they could start. I was fine with that, and so glad I waited. Although it is 25 miles away on the other side of town, I will be taking my cars to them from now on. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give 0 stars I Would I heard suck great thing and thought oh all I need is an alignment for the front so it'll take maybe 2 hours max no it took 4 fucking hours and they didn't even do it I went in after the 2 hour mark and they said oh we just need to finish up on this one car and then your car would be next so it should be 45 minutes to an hour I come back an hour later and there's another fucking car that isn't even mine and they said yeah it just came in how tf are you going to take a car just like that when you can't even take my car in wasted my whole fucking day and I could've just gone somewhere else fuck this shit and fuck this place read more

My experience with this place was amazing! I was driving through town on a road trip from LA to Denver and my AC broke during a week with an excessive heat warning. I had to find a mechanic who could fit me in same day and chose First Class based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! Keith was so nice and helpful. They were able to see me same day and fixed the issue at a very reasonable price. AC worked like a charm all the way back to Denver. Such a life saver! if I could put a 0 star I would. took my vette to these guys and they changed my oil and belts. They reinstalled my cold air intake wrong and forced my hood to close which caused it to stick up a quarter of an inch in the front. and now my car rattles while accelerating in low rpms. owner denied everything as if he's perfect... no customer service at all. now I'm running around trying to find out the rattling issue going on with my car. unless you want to pick up your car with more problems than before you dropped it off, DONT GO HERE! read more

This was my first time taking my car to be serviced from my regular dealership service routine. I was very impressed with the level of service and repair given at First Class Auto Service. It started from the communication that I had on yelp. They answered all my questions and were very professional. I dropped my car off and just as the time they indicated it would be done for oil, transmission, and coolant flush they got it done very quickly and efficiently and I even feel like the car runs a lot different than when I've taken it to the dealership in the past! This place is truely a hidden gem of the auto repair industry in Scottsdale ,I called a third party 5 star rated repair shop that specialize in Lexus ,I had a alternator that died out on me while I was driving and I knew it was the alternator right away base on my experience working on them before . That third party Lexus repair shop wanted 733$ total for a 'New' alternator and labors . I told them they were absurd and ripping people ,they say the 'new' alternator that they had to order was 449$ and the rest was labor and they also claim that their labor was cheaper than the Lexus dealer which in turns out if you deduct the 449$ alternator from the 733 total they charge leaves them with 284$ which divided by 2 is 142$ per hour for labor & the Lexus dealership offer 145$ per labor which means their labor was cheaper by 3 dollars. And there it was First Class Auto repair to the rescue ,I called the Owner Ray Morgan and I told them base on my experience I was sure the alternator was out so I need them replace it with a part I bought from autozone . They got it done as soon as they can and it cost me 385$ and save me 451$ total that I can use on something else ! I really hate giving 1 stars to businesses but in First Class Auto's case, it is whole-heartedly deserved. New to the city and looking for a reputable auto shop, I stumbled upon First Class Auto through a quick search on Yelp. With my out-of-state tags expiring this month and after failing my emissions test, I needed to remedy the issue somewhat quickly to avoid driving around with expired tags. The repair needed was a replaced EGR valve and o2 sensors..a quick search online or call to another shop finds that those 2 parts together for my make and model of car should come to about $100-120. The cost for 45 minutes of work + diagnostic was $400. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. When my fiance picked up my car and asked about the price, all the technician could answer was that that was the price for the "factory part". I'm not quite sure what performance grade part he thought I needed, but I drive 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. Let's be real, it's a sucky car. I literally need it to get me from point A to point B so that I can get through the next 1-2 years without dealing with a car payment. It was absolutely frustrating beyond belief to be charged that amount for the work that was done and I felt completely cheated and taken advantage of. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a truly unfortunate experience and I felt like I ended up being the victim of someone else's incompetency. I should've read the writing on the wall, as it really seemed like the folks working here were not on the same page. When I called in yesterday (and expressing the urgency to have my repair done), the guy said to bring in my car first thing Sat. morning to have it looked at. When I arrived to the shop when it opened, the guy at the counter said "yeah I don't even know why he had you bring it in, I have 20 people ahead of you." My initial thoughts were "great, so I just spent my Sat. morning to drive over here and have someone tell me they're not even going to look at my car today" The worst experience I've had anywhere in awhile and what's worse, I'm out $400 bucks. read more

I'm always a little skeptical taking my car to get work done, seeing as I am a girl who doesn't know squat about vehicles, but Ray did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. He was patient with me, informative and helpful. I've taken my car in on two occasions now - the first was to correct some alignment issues (for the low price of $62.. so cheap!) and the second was to figure out why my check engine light was on. Turned out I just needed a new gas cap which was also a quick, inexpensive fix.
