111 degrees and Stranded off the 10 when a cover plate under my Honda came loose and began dragging on the highway. Was able to get off the road safely. "F the cover plate" Called AAA and a tow truck from Aarco arrived in about 20 mins. Was looking at a possible 100 mile tow back home. The driver was courteous and supportive. He asked if he could lift the front of the car and inspect. He was able to remove the remaining part and we were on are way again. I used their service through AAA. Tow truck drivers name was Ricky, very nice guy!! The street already had cars on both sides. He very politely asked the neighbor to move their car, they said in a few minutes. 20 minutes goes by and they don't come out. So the driver managed to pull it off anyways despite the rude neighbor. He really did me a solid as the situation didn't look good, he tried anyways and didn't give up. Thanks!! Called for a tow and entry - When I got the text to be at the car I was in the parking lot with the car (bright yellow) parked 3 slots from front door- before that I was seated watching the only entrance and exit to the lot. Then I got AI message text told me my tow was delayed. I called the number for status and got Ricardo - He said he was there but he had already canceled the call and so he would not help me. I would need to call and start this process all over again. I ended up waiting 4.5 hours for a .5 mile tow. Jose finally came from same company and he was very good - but 4.5 hours for a short tow goes on to the over all company rating. Ricardo was not there but said he was - if you use AArco towing you may get Ricardo and any one that can not train one driver may have more. Try some one else! read more

Car lost a fuel pump on the way to a DR appt. July 29. Had barely hung up with AAA and I had a call from Aarco's dispatcher. AAA gave me a two hour window. Jose was there in 30 minutes ready to hook up the car. Grateful Aarco is my AAA preferred towing company and I've been fortunate over my 15 plus years as a member to only need their services a handful of times. Never waited more than an hour. I watched David perform the best feat ever!! He was actually badass!! This poor driver of an RV ended up in quite the predicament. David showed up and got business taken care of! He dug boulders out of the sand, moved others, pushed vegetation out of the way, and was able to get this motor home out! This was definitely not the job I would want to be called out for! Absolutely the WORST towing company out there. My wife was in an accident and this towing company was who the cops called. They did a simple wench out where it was literally right next to the road and probably didn't even need to be winched out (but the tow truck driver wouldn't try to drive it and claimed the super tiny fence wouldn't let it move anyways). I mentioned I had AAA, and without him confirming and without him even letting me confirm, he claimed it's not covered. I called AAA the next day and they informed me it is covered and that I shouldn't of been charged for any of what they did. I called the company asking to possibly be reimbursed and they refuse saying that AAA is lying and misspoke to me. Just know that they charge $250 to wench out, even if it takes them less then 1 minute, and even if they really didn't need the 4 wheel drive they claimed they needed (I drove my personal car into where the wrecked car was and had NO trouble at all, even floored it on the way out to see how the road felt and didn't slip at all either!). Also AAA said that the 4 wheel drive doesn't matter, it's still covered. STAY FAR AWAY. read more

My car broke down on the side of the highway in the middle of no where in Palm Springs area. AAA really was useless and dispatched a company that gave an ETA over an hour. My daughter looked up the local place and found Aarco and they were able to transfer the service call to them thank god! Eddie came out and was so helpful. He towed my car 98 miles home and was able to get it into my driveway as well even though the transmission blew on me. After the call to Aarco the dispatcher I believe her name was Tammy. Called us back to tell us not to worry she already sent someone and he would be there within 10 minutes. He showed up quick and no hesitation to drive so far to drop off my car at my home. I have had to have a tow before and the person acted bothered to have to go further than expected so he was amazing. Thank you to the amazing dispatcher as well as the driver. You saved our night and probably our lives stuck on the side of the highway in a Saturday night at 1 am! I can't thank you enough! read more

Completely unprofessional! Tow truck driver was very erratic and seemed overwhelmed upon arrival. He backed his tow truck into my vehicle causing over $2000.00 in damages and when I contacted the owner about the autobody estimate he refused to take responsibility because he didn't agree that he should pay that much and suggested that my autobody shop should keep looking for cheaper aftermarket parts to do the job. He refused to give me his insurance information therefore I was forced to use my own insurance provider and have them go after him for the balance due. I did not use their service, but was driving alongside one of their tow trucks on Sunday, March 29. We were heading west on the 60 getting onto the 91 west and on that two lane freeway interchange bridge the driver of the truck with plate number "AARCO 3" was doing at least 80 miles per hour. So we have a large truck with another large truck (a Ford Excursion) strapped onto the flatbed barreling down the highway at speeds too high for a vehicle of that size with that kind of cargo. The tow truck was veering into adjacent lanes and making quick lane changes. I understand there may be someplace you needed to get to get your driver to in a hurry, but this is not acceptable. Lucky for me, my exit was near, I can only hope no one was harmed by this recklessness. Please slow down, stay in your lane, and perform safer lane changes, there are other people on the road who also want to make it somewhere, too. Thank you. read more

Tony, the driver was very proffessional and got me back on the road in under 20 minutes. Completed my repair very professionaly ensuring he did not damage my car.
