After seeing this review, I presume, Aaron Auto Glass called me and offered to swap up my windshield to the top of the line, new one for the difference in price. I wish this was the offer when i originally complained... but either way, they did a good job of stepping up and offering the switch for just the difference in price. Fast and reasonably priced.. yes! The down side, messy. They left pieces of tape and old glue in my truck. The black adhesive was oozing out of a corner on my new windshield... and there were black adhesive finger prints on the fender, and the inside and outside of my doors. Maybe a bad day for them? I texted the information about my windshield and they gave me a tentative quote and I was able to book an appointment immediately. They weee able to change my windshield in under 2 hours for half the cost of what I had been quoted elsewhere. The reason being that they did not charge me for services I did not need. Great experience! Carla was my sales rep and was very pleasant! No issues there. As far as the repair, I had a chipped windshield. They quoted me a fair price over the phone (less than the competitor.) It's been a little over a week, and their work is holding up well. As for the guys in the garage, they weren't extra friendly or attentive. They weren't rude. But It took a while to get someone's attention so I could get my key and my vehicle after it was ready. Great customer service...great price and options. I was driving to work today...took the tollway...and got off on my work exit. On the street driving, I was about a 1/2 mile to my work. There was a city worker with a weed wacker getting rid of some weeds on the sidewalk...when I passed him...his weedwacker must have hit a rock and flung at my window because my passenger windshield shattered instantly. I looked in the rearview mirror and the city worker's weedwacker was clogged. I called from work at 10 AM and they gave me an appointment window from 3-5 PM. Best place to get your windows repaired! I've gone there a few times (I must have bad luck.) and always had a good experience. They always have the glass in stock. You're in and out in about an hour with the cheapest price around. Keep your receipt and their work is 100% warrantied for life. The molding came loose on my Corrolla windshield from a replacement almost a year ago, and they replaced it for free. read more

Probably the worst experience I have ever had. My car is at P&L Motorsports in Lisle, IL getting a safety racing cage put in it. My car was an excellent condition 2016 Subaru STI. The front windshield needed to be removed temporarily in order for the cage to be put in. P&L have been using Aaron Glass for years without issues. But this time, something different happened. They were cutting the seams of the outside of the windshield and, in doing so, cut completely through the paint into the metal, and even damaging the metal by putting a crease in it to the point it needs to be professionally repaired, filled, and repainted. When P&L contacted Aaron Glass about the issue, they were told that "things happen and nobody's perfect" and said they can't do anything about it. This is such a horrible situation that we all were put in and I wish that somebody would be able to help me. read more

Aaron was great in every way. Quick, helpful, inexpensive and quality work. We had a window knocked out of our Toyota Prius by a would-be thief, who didn't find anything worth stealing. Aaron's is the only place I take my car for glass repair. They only do one thing and they do it great. I have not used their mobile service, but at the shop on Armitage, I am in out same day. They are super busy so expect a bit of a wait. Today, I came out to find that some punks smashed by driver's side front and rear windows. They also smashed two or three cars on my block. I went it to Aaron's at 1:15 and was out by 2:45. They offered both new and used glass. I chose used glass. Two windows replaced and it only cost $138 total. They did a great job cleaning out the old glass, installing the replacement glass. Always great service. read more

WARNING FOR AUDI OWNERS Update: changed review to one star, if i could make it zero i would. I took my car into my Audi dealer in Westmont and they informed me that whoever (Aaron's auto glass) changed my window out did a crappy job. They left parts out and the window was put in improperly. So on top of paying them now i pay to have it done right. So my car was broken into for some cheap sunglasses, a couple dollars in coins, my owners manual, and a car cell charger. What an ---hole!! Window smashed with a rock on Clark street in the Gold Coast. So I need to fix my window stat!! I call my Audi dealer, and they want 370 to replace my front passenger side window, and they can't do it till Tuesday, and this is Saturday morning. I google auto glass chicago and i call this place. They quote me 120 installed and can do it that day. I go there and see many other cars there that have been broken into the previous night, it was busy. They call me to look at a small scratch before the guy changing the window starts. I try to talk to him and he speaks not a word of english. I am slightly worried. Anyhow, they change the glass in about an hour and a half, they don't do a good job getting the glass out. Looks ok, but after i drive away i notice it sounds different from the rest of the windows. Also, I think they left glass in the door, so there is a rattle of glass. Now i have to have someone else look at it. If you value your car don't go here. If you drive a car with not too much value then this place is great. Don't leave anything visible to give someone the bright idea to break into your car!!!! read more

First time coming here... Price quoted was the best I found in the area and they said they would match any price if I could find one lower. I came in around 3:30pm and after paperwork was processed and they finally got to work, I had a new windshield a little after 4:30pm. The only reason I give 3 stars is due to the mess left behind. I found globs of black adhesive left on the dashboard and on my door handle. There were also huge chunks of broken glass on and under the seats, on the floor and dashboard. I found fingerprint smudges on the inside. They said not to clean the window within 48 hours so it was annoying to have to see fingerprints in front of my face when driving. All in all, quick and affordable but they need to work on presentation once the work is complete. It's the little things that make all the difference! read more

I needed to replace the glass mirror on the driver side of my Hyundai Santa Fe. Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone were quoting me over $90 because they said they could only order the entire mirror assembly and not just the glass mirror. McGrath Hyundai quoted me $ 120 for just the glass mirror portion and if I wanted the entire assembly it would be about $ 230. Finally I decided to go to Aaron Auto Glass where I have been taking all my cars and my family members' cars for auto glass repair. They were able to order the correct mirror glass, it arrived in a few days and they installed it in about 5 minutes all for a grand total of $ 44.10. I highly recommend Aaron Auto Glass to anyone who needs anything to do with Auto Glass replacement before you waste your time at auto part stores or auto dealers. Aaron's glass is close by so I've been here a few times over the years. They could use some major improvement on their customer service skills. There's a lack of communication sometimes with the office and people in the garage. Office staff is somewhat unorganized. They damaged part of my door while removing a piece the last time I went. They were so inconsiderate. They said they would call when it was ready. They called me 7 minutes before they closed to tell me they were leaving and I could pick up my car 2 days later because they were closed the following day. I rushed to them and told them I will be there in 5 minutes. They called me 2 minutes after we hung up to tell me they were closed. My car is parked in front, keys under the mat and they left my passenger window wide open. The owner was walking out as I pulled up. He couldnt even wait for me to get my car then has the audacity to ask for a good review. Lol Oh and I had to return because the window wasn't going up and down correctly. read more
